Chapter 7 Love never dies
"vincent" catherine whispered as she woke up
"Yes my love" he mumbled sleepily
"Aren't you nervous at all?" Vincent sat up and rolled on his side to face her and caress her body, he gathered her then in his strong comforting arms and he said in her ear "I am a little anxious because I want everything perfect for our wedding day" he smiled at her with tenderness and caressed her back.
"Oh vincent, it will be beautiful. I need a bath now and I smell really bad"
Vincent got dressed and gave catherine a tunic to wear from his draws. It swamped her and he went to get father to check catherine's wound. Father agreed to examine her gunshot wound
"Good morning my dear" said jacob cheerfully

"Lets check this out, then vincent will take you to the bathing chamber, ok my dear"
"Catherine" he asked as he was changing her dressing "I must apologise for walking in on the two of you the other day but I thought that one of you was hurt so...." he blushed profusely
"Jacob, it's ok a little embarassing maybe but worse things have happened" said catherine
"I do need to get some things from my apartment so can Jamie and mouse help?" she asked hesitantly
"catherine, Jamie will lend you some clothes until you recover and are able to get to your apartment...don't worry ok" said jacob patting her hand

Just then vincent walked in and looked at both of them curiously wondering what they were laughing about
"Jacob and I were discussing our embarassing interlude the other night" Vincent blushed at the thought.
"I was just apologising for invading a very intimate moment the other night. I really didn't mean to intrude" he said chuckling
"You are forgiven, in the meantime I have run you a bath catherine and jamie bought you some scented bubble bath from above" He lifted her out of bed and took her to the bathing chamber.
As he was taking her to have a bath he seized an opportunity to kiss her sweetly before he took off her robe
"Now my love, would you like to wash your back for you?" asked vincent as she sunk into the bath and laid back.
