Summary: The team discovers that there are more things in heaven and earth, but does this creature belong in either? This story will contain male/male relationships, lots of vulgar language (just because I love using it), and a couple of original characters thrown in here and there just to spice things up. Have fun and enjoy the story, ya’ll.
Chapter Six
There was smoke all in the Hub and Kain was floating in the air like he was sitting cross-legged on a throne. He had the most amused expression on his beautiful face that could make a man cream himself with a single glance. He really was that fucking sexy and if anyone thought differently, they would wind up flat on their backs screaming his name in agony.
“What the hell are you trying to do, Tosh?” Owen yelled, peeking up from behind an overturned table. “Blow the fucking place up?”
Tosh was lying flat on her back from where the bazooka had kicked her like a horse. The air had been knocked from her lungs, making her cough to get it back. That had been so fucking sweet. She really wanted to shoot it again.
Gwen got to her knees, taking aim at the incubus. “Don’t move!”
Kain rolled his eyes. “Haven’t we been through this once before, Gap?”
“Shut up!” She snapped, scuffing on her knees towards a gasping Tosh, looking at Owen. “Are you all right?”
“I’m fine,” he said, not daring to move. He didn’t want to attract attention to himself. Beauty was the Beast and he didn’t want those talons to tear him to shreds.
“Well, shit,” Ianto said, helping Jack down the steps. “Just look at this mess. Do you have any idea how long it will take me to clean this up?”
“Not now, Ianto,” Jack said, holding onto the railing. His legs were not quite working right yet.
“Don’t you ‘not now me,’ Mr. Man,” Ianto snarled. “I’m the one who has to clean this shit.”
Kain was grinning with deadly white teeth. His smile was so radiant it was damn near blinding.
“I told you not to move!” Gwen yelled, firing a warning shot at his back.
Kain whirled around with a venomous hiss, snatching the bullet out of the air like a lollypop from a small child. He squeezed it between his thumb and index finger until it was flatter than a penny.
“I’m only going to say this once more, Gap,” he said in his deep demonic voice that echoed with spooky distortions. “If you pull a gun on me one more time, I shall take it from you, ram the barrel up your puss, and fire away for Allah and Her four camels.”
All was silent as he dropped the dead bullet to the floor with a sharp clang. Not once did the crazy ass smile falter on his enchanting face.
“Hey!” Jack yelled, finally finding his voice. “You don’t have to speak to her like that.”
“Well, apparently I do, Jack,” Kain told him, floating down a few inches. “Because she still doesn’t get it that guns have no effect on me. And, I think I shall speak to the bitch of Eve however I damn well please.”
“Stop calling me that!” Gwen snapped.
“Make me,” Kain chuckled, turning in the air to look down at her. “I’d like to see you make me do anything, you cheating little slut.”
Gwen turned white, well, whiter.
“And you,” Kain pointed down at Owen with a razor sharp talon. “You knew better, too.”
“How?” Gwen chocked out in shock. “How the hell do you know?’
“I am made in God’s image,” Kain smirked. “Only more so than ya’ll.”
“I saw the valley,” Jack said, walking down the steps without Ianto’s help. “I saw the cave made out of crystals.”
Kain’s eyes betrayed no emotion whatsoever. They made a corpse in its lonely tomb look more alive.
“You loved him,” he said, getting closer. “You really loved him.”
Kain’s smile was as frozen as the Arctic Wastes. Hell, those lips made the Arctic look like a summer beach resort and spa.
“What?” Gwen asked. “Didn’t this monster kill him because God loved him more?”
“Shut up!” Kain screamed like a whip across her backside. “Shut your face! You don’t know shit, bitch!”
His voice rolled over them all like scalding hot water.
“He lied beneath you,” Jack went on, ignoring how his sun yellow locks were coiling and hissing like serpents around his beautiful face. “He had nothing but love in his eyes. He adored you. He even planted a kiss on your…”
Kain rushed forward like a deadly tidal wave, bitch slapping him across the face, sending him stumbling sideways a few steps.
“Don’t you dare speak of things you don’t understand!” He spat like acidic venom, wondering how the captain could have seen that.
“Don’t you touch him!” Inato roared.
“Oh, and what will you do?” Kain asked with fangs growing longer. “Are you going to throw a teacup at me?”
“I just might,” Ianto hissed. “One filled with flesh eating sperm!”
That made Owen snort. Gwen and Tosh just looked at each other. Maybe they could reload the bazooka while he wasn’t looking and fire it again.
“That really hurt,” Jack whined, touching his busted lip.
“Good,” Kain smiled. “That means I did it right.”
“Oh, and what if you did it wrong?” He asked.
Kain stepped towards him. “Can you grow back your head?”
Jack bit his bottom lip. He didn’t know. It had never been an issue before. He usually just got shot, stabbed, electrocuted, pushed from high places, or strangled.
“Can we test it?” Kain asked with big blue eyes.
“No!” Jack snapped, backing away.
“Yeah,” Ianto said. “Hands off, soul sucker!”
“I’ll suck something all right,” Kain said, floating back up off his feet.
Ianto backed up a step.
“What do you want?” Jack asked, rubbing his jaw. It was pounding along with his lip like a mother.
Kain looked at him with molten blue gemstones, causing him to see the sadness in their endless depths. There was so much pain.
“Well?’ Ianto asked. “Spit it out.”
“How about I bite your cock off?” Kain asked. “And spit it out?”
All the male humans in the room cringed at the thought and the image it put in their heads. Oh, it was scary.
Kain floated there, watching the busted lip he had given Jack start to fade. It made him a little sad. Abused men were so sexy. He then floated down and began to advance on Jack with the swiftness of a spitting cobra.
“Nobody move!” Jack yelled as Kain grabbed his shoulders. He didn’t feel like being shot if Kain moved out of the way.
Gwen looked at him, finally realizing that weapons were useless. They really were powerless. This bitch seriously needed taking down a peg or five.
Kain looked into Jack’s eyes, searching them for something.
“Did you really see Abel?” He whispered.
Jack nodded, wincing under the pressure Kain was exerting on his arms.
Ianto looked like he wanted to commit blasphemy and break some china over his damn head. Damn that bitch for being sexier than him. Damn him to the Darkness! How the fuck was he supposed to compete against Sex incarnate?
“I’m going to go now,” Kain said, suddenly standing near the steps.
“Close the Hub off!” Gwen yelled.
“Do you really want to lock me in here with you?” He asked with a sharp giggle. It promised never-ending pain. “I’ll kill you and then leave.”
“We can’t just let you go,” Owen said, surprised his voice was working.
“I’m so fucking juiced right now,” he said, glowing like a white hot star from within. “I won’t have to feed for quite sometime.”
“I can’t allow you to leave this place,” Jack said, pulling out a tiny remote from his jacket pocket.
“And what the hell is that?” Kain asked with mild interest.
Jack pushed the button and Kain’s head was thrown back in shock. A strong electric current was pulsing through his body like lightning. He had slipped a tiny little mechanism onto the incubus when they had been kissing.
He pushed the button again and Kain fell to his knees with shock written all over his face. He suddenly looked really, really, really, really, really, pissed off, too.
“What the hell did you do to me?’ Kain hissed, grabbing the side of the wall, trying to get to his feet.
“It is just a little device that harnesses negative emotional energy and causes the victim to feel intense pain,” Jack grinned.
Kain cocked a brow. The little bitch was using his emotions against him. Wow, that was really clever. “You little sneak.”
“Oh,” Ianto smiled. “Can I have one of those little buttons?”
Gwen wanted to grab it from Jack and fry the demons ass straight back to the pit where he belonged. That would teach him to make fun of her gap.
Jack busted the remote right there to everyone’s horrific astonishment. Why in the hell did he do that for?
“Now,” Jack said, smiling. “Whenever you so much as think about hurting or fucking someone to death without their verbal and written consent, the little machine that is now attached to your spine will knock you on your sexy ass.”
Kain just looked at him with wrath. “So, you’ve made me your little puppy, huh?”
Jack shrugged. “If that’s how you want to look at it.”
Kain began to move towards him only to fall flat on his face.
Owen snorted and Gwen doubled over in laughter. Now that had been comical. No matter how fucking sexy you are, falling flat on your face was not graceful at all.
“I’ll rip off your pecker and shove it up your nose!” Kain screamed, flinching with each word that came out of his mouth. “I’ll tear out your balls and pop them like bubbles in front of your eyes!”
“Oh, graphic,” Ianto said with a shiver.
Tosh simply looked dumbfounded. She had thought the device broken. Apparently Jack new crock shits of secrets.
“And you, Teacup Bitch,” Kain growled like an angry tiger. “I’m going to eat your flesh and drink your blood!”
“You really should calm down,” Jack said, walking over to where he was curled up on his side, twitching. “Or you’ll be here all night.”
“They were only men!” He screamed, flinching even more. “They were cheaters, liars, and the most disgusting scum of the earth!”
“So, is he pretty much harmless now?” Owen asked.
Tosh nodded. “But, I still wouldn’t get to close or alone with him.”
“That may be so,” Jack told him, kneeling down beside him. “But, they were still human.”
Kain hissed at him. “I will not be humiliated like this!”
“Oh, suck it up,” Gwen yelled.
“I’m going to pinch her clit off, Jack,” Kain smiled, gritting his fangs. “And staple it to her forehead.”
Just then a really loud alarm went off all around them. Tosh ran to her computer to see what it was. Apparently the readings were soaring off the charts. The ground actually shook under their feet.
“Rift activity!” She yelled, typing in data.
“Where?” Jack asked, getting to his feet.
She was just about to tell him only for the crazy activity to suddenly stop. The readings were gone. Everything was normal again.
“Well?” Gwen asked, looking around when the alarms died. “What happened?”
“It stopped,” she said, printing out the readings she had been able to record. “It’s gone.”
Kain growled, stumbling to his feet, walking over, and collapsing onto the sofa in the corner. Well, it looked like he wasn’t going to be able to go anywhere. That damn device had drained him.
“What do you mean gone?” Jack asked, turning away from him, and racing past Ianto to her.
Tosh handed him the readings. The damn thing had simply stopped. Was that a good thing?
“Did anything come through?” Owen asked.
Tosh shrugged her shoulders. “I don’t know. It all happened too fast.”
“The park,” Jack said, pointing at the monitor, comparing the readings. “We’ll try there.”
“What about him?” Gwen asked, pointing.
“Well, we can either lock him up,” Jack said. “Or take him with us.”
Ianto snickered. “I’ll go grab the leash.”
“I shall kill you all,” Kain said, lifting his head, only to slide off the couch with a thud.
