New chapter. Sorry about the errors, thought I caught everything. A lot of the time, I write when I can't sleep, so I don't catch everything. Anyways, hope you guys enjoy. May be a little graphic, so beware. Tell me what you think.
Enjoy!!
Chapter 7
Sam nearly screamed as his latest contraction over took him. He was undressed and kneeling in the tub with his forehead pressed against the tile. He was afraid if he fully sat down, he wouldn’t be able to get back up and get to his bed. He was just waiting for his water to break so he could go lie down. On the next contraction, he did give a small scream, but was cut off mid way by a moan because his water had finally broken. Sam looked down at the bottom of the tub as bloody water ran down the drain. He gave an almost relieved sigh. He knew he had about ten minutes before the contractions picked up harder and stronger again, so he placed a hand on each side of the tub, pushing himself up enough so he could get his feet under him. By the time Sam had hauled himself up, he knew that he was running out of time. His body had already given a small seize, a pre-curser to what was to come. Sam moved as quickly as his cumbersome body would allow, and positioned himself on the guest bed. He propped pillows underneath himself for support, made sure to have a clean sock to bite onto so he couldn’t scream, and made sure he had all of his supplies ready for when the baby came. Un-opened, sterile scissors, baby blanket, crib set up next to the bed, and the suction thing they use to clean out the baby’s airway. He didn’t know what it was called. Sam finished his check list right before his strongest contraction hit. He put the sock into his mouth, right hand on the head board, left hand tangled in the sheets, chin pressed to his chest and pushed. He had never been in so much pain. He stopped pushing when the contraction stopped, but his reprieve was short lived.
Dean closed the front door behind him, and was greeted with a pained moan from the guest bedroom. Everything fell from his hands as he rushed over and basically plowed through the closed door. He stopped as he was greeted with a very sweaty, very heavily pregnant Sam, who was now into very heavy labor.
Sam opened his eyes to see Dean standing in the doorway. He would have panicked, but was in too much pain to concentrate on anything else. He could feel the baby’s head starting to crown. His eyes stayed glued to Dean as he pushed with the continuous contractions. Tears were rolling down his face as he felt the top of the head leave his body. He gave another huge push, and he felt the rest of the head leave his body.
Dean was brought back to reality when Sam gave a relieved sigh, and placed his head against the head board for a moment of welcomed rest. He looked from Sam’s face to in between Sam’s bent legs. There, in between Sam’s legs, was a head. He stood at the end of the bed staring at the little head that was suspended outside of Sam’s body. He looked back up at Sam when he gave a pained whimper. He watched as Sam closed his eyes and put his chin back to his chest. Dean snapped into action when Sam screamed through the sock that was in his mouth. He was trying to push the shoulders out, but they were wider than he had expected. Dean placed himself in between Sam’s bent legs and helped to guide the baby out. Sam screamed again, and pushed the shoulders out.
Sam gave a sob of relief, as it only took three more big pushes to bring his baby into the world. Their baby, into the world. Sam watched in fascinated relief as Dean cut the cord and got the baby cleaned up. He hadn’t notice there was no after birth yet, to wrapped up in what Dean was doing to notice.
“It’s a girl,” Dean whispered, as if afraid the being in his arms would break apart and float away on the wind if he spoke any louder. He looked up at an exhausted Sam. “It’s a girl Sammy.”
Sam gave a pained moan as his answer to Dean’s declaration.
“No.”
Cliff hanger again. Hoped you guys liked it. Tell me what you think. If there are any grammar or spelling errors, tell me, and I'll be more than happy to fix them.
