Chapter Six
Black Leather and Claws
Flora Winters
I do not own Smallville, Batman Returns, or Catwoman…even though I really wish I did. I would be one extremely rich bitch.
Summary: Jason is one pissed off pussycat and Lex doesn’t know what to do. This is going to have male/male parings…so if you don’t like it, don’t read it. It really is that simple, I promise you. There will also be some foul language just because I do so enjoy using it. XOVER, OC, MM, LANGUAGE.
Chapter Six
“How’s the sushi,” Clark asked as he dipped a piece of his steak into some sauce.
Jason looked up at him with a piece of raw tuna hanging from his mouth and quickly sucked it in. He wiped his mouth with his cloth napkin and nodded as he chewed.
“Yummy,” he said when he got done chewing to take a sip of his water.
“I can see that,” Clark said and took another bite of his steak.
Jason smiled and looked around the tiny Japanese Restaurant. There was some goldfish over in the fountain by the door and he had to fight with himself when he first walked through the door with Clark. He had wanted to lean over into it and snatch at them and giggle while doing so.
One little fishy, two little fishy, three little fishy…tee he, ha, ha!”
“So,” Clark asked as he sat his chopsticks down and wiped his mouth with his napkin, “What did you go to college for?”
“To get away from my father,” Jason said as he twirled his chopsticks around and snatched up a piece of sushi.
Clark blinked in awe at such skill. That was pretty cool. He wondered if he could do that without breaking the chopsticks, or sending them flying through someone’s brain, or a wall. It would be best if he just tried that at home.
“Where are you from,” Clark asked.
“I’m from Star City originally,” Jason said as he sat his water back down on its paper coaster, “But my parents moved to Smallville.”
“Oh,” Clark said, “Do you mind if I ask why?”
“My father did not approve of the crowd I was hanging with,” Jason said as he skipped down memory lane and not really caring that he was sharing, “They were not Jesus fanatics, some were homosexual, others were pagans, and they loved life. I was still in college at the time and my parents were paying for it.”
“So, you were under their thumb,” Clark said.
“Pretty much,” Jason said and started to shred his napkin which had Clark cocking a brow, “So I left and came here when he decided to usurp my life from me.”
“Oh,” Clark said with a small frown, “I take it that your father does not approve of you seeing men?”
“My father does not approve of me seeing anyone,” Jason said and that napkin was lying in a pile of shreds on the table, “Nobody is ever good enough for him. He acts like he’s the one dating them.”
Clark smiled, “That reminds me of my dad when he was still living.”
“Lucky you,” Jason thought, “I wish mine would trip over the bucket, too.”
“Don’t get me wrong,” Clark said, “My dad was happy that I was happy. He just did not approve of the guy I was seeing. He was always warning me about how I’ll come to regret for putting my trust in him.”
“And did you,” Jason asked with a raised brow, “Come to regret?”
Clark nodded, “Yes, I did.”
“I’m sorry,” Jason said and realized what he was doing to the napkin and quickly stopped.
“It’s in the past,” Clark said and then asked, “So, what made you decide to work for Luthor?”
“It’s a job,” Jason said as he fought to keep from screaming how much of a mother fucker that bald bastard was, “And it pays the rent.”
“I noticed the way you and Lex interacted with each other in the office,” Clark said, “Are the two of you…”
Jason cocked his head to the side and his eyes were wide, “Are we…what?”
“Intimate with each other,” Clark finished and it surprised him at how painful it was to get out.
Jason’s left brow rose and he snorted. He let out a slight gasp and then threw his head back, howling with laughter. It got all sorts of peoples attentions. He had tears streaming from his eyes. Him…with that bald ass son of a mother fucker! Hell mother fucking nah!
Perhaps if the bald bitch hadn’t tossed me out of a goddamn mother fucking window!
Clark didn’t know what to think. Had that question been funny?
“No,” Jason laughed as he shook his head and wiped the tears away, “I’m sorry, Clark. That was just funny. No, Lex and I are not seeing each other and we never will.”
Clark did not know why he was feeling so relieved. Why did he care who Lex was seeing. The more guys and girls that ass hole slept with the more chances he would get to contract something unpleasant.
“I was just wondering,” Clark said.
“Afraid that you were treating his assistant a little too friendly,” Jason smiled.
Clark snorted, “He does tend to get jealous…and bad things usually tend to happen when he does get jealous.”
“I wouldn’t know,” Jason lied and leaned back in his chair, “But you sound as if you do…”
Clark bit his bottom lip.
Shit! I so just ran face first into that wall.
Jason kept his mouth shut. It was none of his business.
“We were best friends back in the day when we were practically growing up in Smallville,” Clark said, “He was the rich billionaire and I was the poor farmboy.”
“A romance novel in the making,” Jason purred and quickly took a sip of water and acted like he had something in his throat.
“Are you okay,” Clark asked in concern as he got up.
“Fine,” Jason said as he wiped his mouth, “I’m fine.”
Clark nodded and took his seat again, “Our friendship grew after that fateful day where I saved his life when his car went off the bridge.”
Clark told him the whole story about the bridge incident, but left out some key details.
“Sounds like love at first sight,” Jason smiled even though he wanted to stick his finger down this throat and gag himself. Clark seemed like a really sweet guy and he did not need to get mixed up with that bald bastard ever again. He was better off without that sleazebag.
Clark nodded, “It was…at least it was for me.”
Jason frowned, “I’m sorry, Clark.”
“Eh,” Clark said with a sad smile, “It would make one hell of a romance novel. It would be an ongoing series of love, hate, and betrayal.”
“You can call it Smallville,” Jason said, “The Adventures of Lex and Clark.”
Clark smiled, “It would sell like crazy.”
“I’d read it,” Jason laughed, “If you would sign them for me.”
Clark nodded, “I could do that.”
Clark couldn’t believe it. Here he was talking to a guy he barely even knew about his past with Luthor. It was amazing. Jason totally got him. This was so cool.
Wait! What if he goes back and tells Lex all that I’ve said? He could be lying to me. Lex would then come after me and that would not be good…for either of us. I don’t think I could go through all that again. Well, my body could, but my mind won’t.
“Clark,” Jason asked in concern and reached over to take his hand, “Are you all right? You suddenly went really pale.”
“I’m fine,” Clark lied and looked down at that white hand lying over top of his bigger one, “I just felt a little dizzy from eating too much.”
Jason nodded, “I can get like that sometimes.”
“You’re not going to go back and tell him about all that we’ve talked about,” Clark asked not looking up at him, “Are you?”
“What’s said in Little Tokyo, Clark,” Jason smiled and squeezed that big hand, “Stays in Little Tokyo.”
“Thanks,” Clark said and Jason let go of his hand.
“Just as long as you promise not to drag my name through the mud,” Jason said, “For calling that bald freak an ass hole.”
“I won’t,” Clark said with a nod, “But can I talk to you about that charity benefit Lex is doing?”
“Sure,” Jason smiled and suddenly remembered those files he had read in Lex’s personal cabinet.
“Awesome,” Clark said, “Do you mind coming back to my place?”
“Why, Mr. Kent,” Jason laughed, “You bought me dinner and now you’re taking me home with you, too?”
Clark snorted, “Check please.”
Jason just sat there and watched Clark write out a check. He really was a very nice man. If only he would take those damn glasses off. He was so dorky, but he was very attractive.
I’m going to smash that charity event into a million shattered pieces. That sword of Alexander will look so pretty sticking straight through Lex’s black heart. Just the idea of doing such a thing makes my blood run cold with joy.
“Ready,” Clark asked.
“Yeah,” Jason said and got to his feet to follow him out.
He snatched a fish when nobody was looking.
Meow.

“Who is that with Smallville,” Lois asked as she pulled Chloe behind a trash bin.
“I don’t know,” Chloe said as she peeked out, “But he is a real looker.”
“How does he do it,” she asked.
“I don’t know,” Chloe said with a smile, “Maybe it’s just his magnetic personality.”
“Smallville doesn’t have a personality,” Lois snapped in jest.
“I know that this would be wrong,” Chloe said with an impish gleam in her blue eyes, “But do you want to follow them?”
Lois grabbed her wrist so fast that it made her head spin.
“Slow down,” Chloe hissed as she was dragged along after the taller girl, “We don’t want to get caught.”
“You’re talking to the General’s daughter,” Lois said, “I don’t get caught.”
“Uh huh,” Chloe said, “What about that one time…”
“Shut it,” Lois snapped, “I meant for that to happen. It was all a part of the plan.”
Chloe rolled her eyes. This was just like the good old days.
