Chapter Six
Jenna was pissed as hell. His stomach had a fucking hole in it. A fucking hole in it for Macha’s sake! Oh, was he ever pissed! That little bitch was going to fucking pay for putting a fucking hole in his fucking stomach.
Anger curled off of him like potent smelling incense when his shadow mirror suddenly shook violently. He instantly knelt down before it to see lightning dancing and hissing in darkness as Queen Macha boomed, “Where is my son? Where is my Beautiful Death?”
Jenna hid his wound from the Goddess, “My plan is working perfectly Dark One.”
“You did not answer my question,” the Dark Goddess hissed like a great fissure ripping the ground apart.
“Your son is in the company of a man,” Jenna said, “They seem close.”
All went silent and Jenna was suddenly deafened by an explosion of thunder and a bolt of red hot lighting shot from the mirror making him scream as it struck him, “A man,” the Dark Queen bellowed like a great dragon flapping its mighty wings.
“Yes,” Jenna coughed trying his best not to whimper in pain.
“What is wrong with your stomach,” the cold voice asked creeping into his veins like slow killing ice.
“Nothing,” Jenna lied.
“Do not lie to me,” she warned, “My Beautiful Death’s power is all over you.”
“I will have him soon my Queen,” he said bowing his head in pain.
The darkness coiled and hissed like angry serpents and then she cooed like any loving mother as a beautiful hand reached out of the mirror, “Drink this and bring me my son.”
Jenna took the beautiful vile from the Dark Queen’s shapely hand and the mirror blanked instantly. He said a small prayer of thanks to his Dark Goddess and sniffed the potion. He sensed no ill motives and drank the potion. A second passed and he fell to his knees as his stomach that was no longer there began to cramp. He looked down and pulled his shirt back to see his stomach re-knitting itself.
He got to his feet and looked himself over in the shadow mirror and thanked the Dark Goddess. His eyes glowed like a poisonous emerald as he hissed, “I’ll get you my pretty and your little bitch to.”

“Lana,” Kal said looking at her in some surprise wondering why she ran from him in the club to show up now, “Come to apologize for the club?”
The look in her eyes told him that she had no idea what the fuck he was talking about, “Never mind,” he said waving it away like it meant nothing, “I see Chloe told you about me.”
“Only because I forced her to tell me,” Lana said pushing past him wondering how the hell he could afford to live in a place like this, “Why won’t you come home?”
“I’m not wanted,” he told her simply, “Not after what I did.”
“That’s not true Clark,” she said taking him by his hands only for him to pull away from her.
“He closed the door in my fucking face,” he yelled at the top of his lungs which made her take a slight step back, “He closed the fucking door!”
She could see that his eyes were more hurt than angry and she lowered her voice, “Your parents love you Clark.”
“Of course they do,” Kal said as he sniffed her cheap perfume in disgust, “What do you want?”
“I want you to come home with me,” she said reaching out for him only for him to pull away from her again, “Please.”
“Okay,” he said, “But only because you said please.”
She narrowed her eyes, “Really?”
“Hell no, I’m never going back to that stupid farm,” he roared, “Now get the fuck out!”
“Clark,” she snapped as she slapped him across the face which hurt her hand.
He saw the look of pain on her face and he took her hand, “Are you okay?”
She shook her head, “Your dad is going out of his mind and your mother is crying her eyes out everyday.”
“Because of me killing the baby,” Kal said as he let her hand go to step away.
“No Clark,” Lana said regretting the way she had phrased that, “They love you so much.”
“Do they really Lana,” he asked really wanting to know, “Did they ever come to find me?”
Lana shook her head, “They tried Clark.”
Kal felt his scar begin to burn again and cursed under his breath, “I think you need to go Lana.”
“Your parents are losing the farm Clark,” she said sadly.
“Sorry to hear it,” he said pointing to the door, “You can go now.”
“Don’t you even care,” she asked really starting to get pissed at him again.
“It doesn’t matter,” he said, “I’m never going back there anyway.”
She saw him break out into a sweat and he looked at her with pure poison in his eyes, “Go Lana!”
She backed away from him towards the door, “I don’t even know you anymore Clark.”
He laughed, “You never did.”
She shook her head and he shouted, “I said get the fuck out!”
A tear fell from her eye as he slammed the door shut behind her. He stumbled across the living room to the bedroom only to fall to his knees in pain.
Ronan opened the door to see Kal pull the ring off and then falling face first to the floor laying there. He quickly ran over and pulled him into his lap as Clark fought to keep his tears from falling.
He opened his mouth to speak and Ronan put a long pale finger over it, “Its ok Kal, I’m here.”
The tears fell from his eyes and he wept in Ronan’s strong moon kissed arms, “I miss them so much.”
Ronan soothed him with gentle caresses and magical words to ease his troubled mind. Clark felt his eyelids grow heavy as he whispered, “Leannan.”
A blood tear slid down Ronan’s pale cheek as he hugged Clark close, “Leif.”

Lana was sitting in her SUV when she came to the conclusion to call Mr. Kent. She dug around in her purse until she picked out her cell and dialed the Kent Farm.
---------------------------------------
“He’s too powerful Jonathan,” Martha argued trying to reason with his stubborn ass, “He’s on red Kryptonite according to Pete. He could kill you.”
“I am bringing our son home Martha,” he said as he held up the key, “No matter what I have to do.”
-----------------------------------------
Clark opened his eyes to see Ronan standing in front of the open window watching the moon rise slowly into the night sky. The pale light highlighted his beautiful features in a silver glow.
He was on his feet and suddenly dressed for the night. Ronan turned to see him with the ring back on his finger, “Why do you wear it if it causes you such pain?”
“It keeps me from feeling,” he said as he stuffed some hundreds into his pockets.
“What are you doing,” Ronan asked.
“We have to leave,” he said, “Lana told my parents where I am.”
“How do you know,” Ronan asked looking over at him.
“Because,” Kal told him, “It’s Lana Lang.”
Ronan nodded his head, “We can go to my place.”
“No,” Kal told him, “I have a better idea.”
“What,” Ronan asked arching an eyebrow.
“Edge,” he said putting his shoes on, “They’ll never hope to find me with us using his resources.”
Ronan just looked at him, “As long as I can stay out of my mother’s radar I don’t care.”
“Good,” Kal said as he rushed over and had Ronan in his arms, “You can help.”
Before Ronan could protest being carried like some wanton damsel the two of them were gone in a blur and a rush of wind leaving the apartment forever.
---------------------------------------------
“Will you do anything to have “your” son back,” the booming voice of Jor-El asked.
Jonathan did not even have to think about his answer, “Yes, I’ll do anything have my son back.”
“So be it,” Jor-El thundered as the lights flowed and flashed in the darkness of space and Jonathan cried out in pain as every cell in his body was infused with power.
------------------------------------------
“Kal,” Edge greeted as he saw the two young men being escorted into his office, “What do I owe the pleasure of your visit?”
“We need to disappear,” Kal told him, “To a place where no one can find us.”
Edge nodded and looked at Ronan whose eyes were glowing like moonlight on the surface of seawater, “I never caught your name.”
Ronan smiled at him fully fanged, “That’s because I never tossed it.”
Edge quickly snapped his fingers and one of his men handed Kal a folder which he quickly scanned through and then whistled, “Nice.”
He handed it to Ronan who gazed at the large sum of money that really meant nothing to him but if it would help him to stay out of his mother’s line of sight then it was all good. He looked at the handsome older man, “What do you require?”
Edge was enchanted how Ronan’s skin seemed to glow with its own inner light and got goose bumps, “I need you to break into a vault on the top floor of Luthorcorp and bring me what’s inside.”
“Luthorcorp,” Kal asked.
“Is that a problem,” Edge asked taking a sip of his tea.
“Not at all,” Kal answered.
“What’s inside the vault,” Ronan asked as he hissed at the men behind Edge.
“I don’t know,” he answered truthfully, “But I want it.”
Ronan rolled his beautiful eyes, “Mortals are such greedy creatures.”
“I am wearing a cross you know,” Edge told him smugly.
“Really,” Ronan asked, “I wear mine to church every Sunday actually.”
Edge paled and Ronan was posed on top of his desk looking down at him with those hypnotic eyes that could cause someone to fall in and drown. He loomed over Edge like a dark thunderstorm about let loose its fury, “If you ever threaten me with your puny god again I’ll take you soul.”
“Ronan,” Kal chided playfully, “Don’t scare the evil man who is paying us. We need his money.”
“Why,” Ronan asked, “I can just make him give us everything he has and then just kill him.”
“As fun as that sounds Ronan,” Kal said trying to get through to him, “We need him alive.”
“I can hear the blood flowing through your veins Mr. Edge,” Ronan cooed like sweet falling rain on a parched tongue, “Your guards are too busy creaming themselves in silence to help you.”
He looked back to see that his two men were indeed in the floor passed out from intense pleasure shock. Ronan snapped his fangs at him and Edge jumped back in his chair for Kal to pull him off the desk, “We’ll be going to get you your thingy.”
Ronan hissed at Edge and smiled evilly as he made Edge’s cock jump making the older man groan. Ronan laughed and it was like silver bells, “Dream of me, won’t you?”
Suddenly the two of them were gone and Edge knew that he would dream of those beautiful eyes for the rest of his life. He got up out of his chair and began to kick the hell out of his stupid men for creaming on the job.
----------------------------------------------------
“Was all of that really necessary,” Kal asked as the two of them were climbing through the ventilation shafts of Luthorcorp’s top floor.
“He needed to remember his place in the fucking food chain Kal,” Ronan told him as he nipped at his ass of steel.
Kal snorted, “I think he learned his lesson.”
“You think so,” Ronan asked, “I love teaching.”
“Really,” Kal asked as he looked down with his x-ray vision to see that they were now over Lionel’s office.
He pulled open the vent shaft and jumped down to land in front of the desk. He moved away to see Ronan jump down to land without so much as bending a knee. Kal smiled at his beautiful incubus and turned his glowing red eyes on the vault. His x-ray vision could not penetrate it which pissed him off.
Ronan watched him rip the door off the hinges and set it aside to only see a small metal box inside that would fit the palm of his hand perfectly. The two of them stepped up to it and Ronan scoffed, “That’s it?”
“Well,” Kal said, “For ten million dollars it must be good.”
“Wait,” Ronan said lifting it to his nose, “It smells like you.”
Kal was about to say something when a voice spoke from behind the two of them, “Hello son.”
The two of them spun around to see a man in jeans and a loose flannel shirt looking at them. Ronan looked him over and thought him handsome because the man was obviously Kal’s father, “Time to come home Clark.”
“Jonathan Kent,” Kal said with a smile as he handed the silver box back to Ronan, “Enjoying the big city?”
“Its ok,” Jonathan said looking around, “A bit too noisy for my taste son, but you already knew that.”
Kal nodded, “How did you find me?”
“Your friends,” he said.
Ronan watched Kal punch his father which sent him flying back into a wall where he left an impression before falling to the hard ground. He watched in amusement as the man looked up and got to his feet unharmed.
Kal narrowed his eyes and then realization hit him, “I see you’ve beefed up.”
Jonathan sped forward and the two of them crashed backwards through the widow to fall to the ground forty stories below. Ronan rushed over for wind to blow through is hair as he screamed, “Kal!”
He watched them tumble and spin as they fought each other all the way down to crash into a generator making a huge explosion go off. Ronan fell to his knees yelling Kal’s name to see the two of them zipping around the place below beating the crap out of each other.
“Give it up dad,” Kal yelled as he punched his dad in the face, “You’re just using borrowed power. I’m the real thing!”
“Give me the ring Clark,” Jonathan said calmly as he blocked a swift punch to the cheek, “And we’ll be home in time for breakfast.”
“What is mom fixing,” Kal asked as he threw Jonathan into a bunch of toxic waste barrels.
Jonathan got to his feet, “Bacon, eggs, biscuits,” he said as Kal rushed at him only for him to grab him by the seat of his jeans and throw him into some steel cables.
Kal laid there and then cried out as they all fell on top of him as Jonathan called out, “And fresh squeezed orange juice!”
The steel cables shot upwards as Kal stood up ripping his ruined shirt off to reveal his scar. Jonathan paled, “What the hell did Jor-El do to you?”
Kal smirked as he rushed Jonathan to knock him pack through several pillars, “Just reminding me who my real father is.”
“I am your father,” Jonathan yelled as he pitched Kal across the floor to land on his ass leaving a perfect imprint in the ground.
“You’re so lucky my ass is made out of steel dad,” Kal shouted, “Or I would be very pissed right now!”
Suddenly Kal had Jonathan against a pillar about to drive his fist through his head when a voice shouted, “Kal!”
Kal looked up to see Ronan descending from the top of the building to land several yards away without so much as making a sound. Jonathan just gagged for breath even though that was fucking awesome.
Ronan ran over to him and stopped a few feet away from Kal to fall to his knees. Kal released his dad to take Ronan in his arms who looked up at him with luminous eyes, “It’s been forever since I’ve done that.”
“Are you okay,” Kal asked deeply concerned, “Do you need anything?”
Jonathan was struck dumb when this strange but extremely beautiful young man asked his son to take his ring off. Kal shook his head and Ronan whispered, “Please?”
Kal looked at him with wetness in his eyes, “It’ll hurt too much.”
Jonathan’s heart sunk when he heard the pain in his precious son’s voice. Ronan caressed his cheek, “Take the ring off Kal so you can have breakfast with your family.”
Kal took a deep breath and slid the ring from his finger for the effects to leave him instantly. He dropped the ring and light exploded from Jonathan who fell to his knees.
Clark quickly helped Ronan to his feet and ran to his dad’s side, “Dad, are you okay?”
“I think so,” Jonathan told him as Clark helped him up, “Let’s go home son.”
“I’m so sorry dad,” Clark cried as tears spilled from his eyes, “I’m so sorry.”
Jonathan held his son close, “We love you so much Clark.”
“But I killed the baby,” he cried, “How can you love me?”
“It was an accident,” Jonathan soothed, “You had no way of knowing that we would have been caught in the crossfire.”
Clark looked into his dad’s eyes with fear, “Do you really forgive me?”
Jonathan saw the fear in Clark’s eyes and shook his son, “I never want you to look at me like that again Clark,” he said and hugged him close, “You are my son and I will always love you no matter what.”
“Clark,” Ronan whispered in fear as he looked up at the brightening sky, “Clark?”
Clark looked over to see him backing up into the shadows in fear of the light that was growing by the minute. Jonathan saw this and asked in confusion, “What’s wrong with him?”
“Dad,” Clark said, “I’ll meet you back in Smallville.”
All of a sudden the two of them were gone before Jonathan could ask how he was supposed to get back to Smallville. He just stood there all alone and sighed as he pulled out Martha’s cell phone and put it to his ear, “Hello dear.”
