Improvements 7/11

"Now realign his matrix..." B'Elanna instructed the boy.
His small face was set in concentration as he followed B'Elanna's
directions "What color should the hair be Lanna?" he asked looking up.
"How about blonde like your mommies?"
"Ok. Then realign the matrix again set the parameters for eye color"
Nico spoke aloud.
"Now we need to decide what the good doctor should wear" B'Elanna
followed suit off-handedly asking the boys opinion.
"How 'bout a bunny suit?" Nico offered smiling as he pulled up the
picture of it on the computer.
B'Elanna's jaw dropped "Nico where did you see this suit?"
"My father was looking at a holo-image of one of those Delaney's in
one" Nico's honest answer made B'Elanna slight angry. With Seven as a
wife why did Tom need a half naked Delaney? She certainly didn't, and
then he'd been careless enough to let his son see it.
"Ok Nico the doc will love this"
"We're done" Nico asked as he realligned the proper matix.
"Not yet we still need to do the voice" B'Elanna rubbed him on his
back lightly.
"My mother does that"
"Does what"
"Rubs my back. I like it, it makes me feel good" Nico smiled up at
the Klingon making a warm fuzzy feeling spread in her belly.
"Oh she must be a very good mommy"
"She is. But my father makes her sad. She's too good for him" his
little face scrunched up in offense "Alot of people think so too"
B'Elanna wondered how much this little boy had heard, and how far he
was in his developement. Pretty far if his vocabulary was any
indication.
"But she's got you Nico" B'Elanna said scooping him up and giving him
a qucik hug. She started as his skinny arms snaked around her neck
and he buried his face in her hair.
"Your as pretty as you smell Lanna" his muffled voice came.
"Thanks. I think. Now about that voice.."
Nico released her and she placed him on his feet. "I have just the
one. It's under holodeck filename:Kasia12.character.Lilo" he giggled
for the first time "Your gonna love this Lanna"

Ready Room
"Nicodemus is in Sickbay with her 'now'" Janeway said incredulous.
"Yes Captain they mix well" Seven said amazed at her own revelation.
"Wow and I thought I'd seen everything" her workstation beeped "The
doctors complaining about someone messing with his program" Janeway
looked comfused "But you'd have to be in sickbay to do that"
"Prehaps the Lt. and Nicodemus are-"
"Would they"
"You know the Lt. better than I Captain"
"Would Nicodemus do that"
"He doesn't know how"
"B'Elanna does"
"What could they possibly do?"
"I dunno. I'll have to look into it later. Now how far have we gotten
on this situation?"
"Not far Captain. We have learned that being in the vicinity of the
anomoly is enough for the displacement to happen, but what we aren't
sure of is how or why Lt. Torres was switched but not anyone else"
Seven seemed annoyed that she couldn't come up with an answer.
"Maybe it was something she was exposed to, something she did, or
even something she ate" Janeway tried. "We should look into that next"
"Right Captain. When shall we begin this?" Seven said rising.
"It's 1600 hours I'm off duty. There's no time like the present"

Sickbay
As B'Elanna and Nicodemus finished the final schematic on the new and
improved doctor, the sickbay doors hissed open. Quickly she snatched
Nico from the console and slipped into her nearby biobed with him on
her lap.
"Act natural"
"I don't know how" he whispered back.
B'Elanna began to tickle him. His laughter drew the two newcomers to
the rear where the doctor had moved B'Elanna to keep her out of the
normal Sickbay traffic.
"Lt. Torres" Janeway nodded "Hi little one" she gave the laughing
boy a small wave having developed a soft spot for the child who
seemed so solemn sometimes.
"Hello Captain" the chorused before exchanging guiltly smiles.
"The doctor was complaining about someone messing with his program.
Do you know anything about that?"
The look on Nico's face alone gave away his knowledge of it.
"So I take that as a no Lt.?"
Torres just smiled.
"Ok. B'Elanna I have a question for you. What did you do yesterday
before the incursion?"
"Well I rose at 0530 hours and was on duty by 0600. I was in
engineering until 0900 hours. Then I went to CargoBay 2 to look for
my wife. She was there" She shifted slightly bringing Nicodemus to a
more comfortable position on her lap. "We .....interacted until 1030
hours. I returned to Engineering until 1100 hours had an interesting
lunch, something in it tasted like fried worms-"
"Klah?" Janeway interrupted.
"Yeah I think so" B'Elanna gave her a look.
"My B'Elanna had the same thing at our picnic. I wouldn't try it.
Pasty green things aren't really that appetizing to my palate"
'Mine either' B'Elanna thought. Just then she caught Seven's eyes as
the woman stared lovingly at her son in B'Elanna's arms. He sat still
content at being temporarily ignored but happy to be in the warm soft
embrace of his new favorite person.
"You two have that in common. Maybe we should get the doctor to
analyze this 'klah' to see if it's a true variable" Janeway continued.
At the word 'doctor' both Nico and B'Elanna started guiltily.
"What have you done to the doctor?" Janeway fixed them with a force
two glare.
It was enough for Nico "We 'improved the doctor right Lanna?" he
looked up at her a little frightened.
"Right" Torres said smiling innocently.
Janeway looked at her suspicion clouding her eyes "Computer. Activate
EMH"
"Please state the nature of the - OH MY GOD WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO ME!"
the holodoc screeched the last part.
The Captain and Seven turned at the sound on the sultry voice. A the
sight of the 'improved' doctor both had an eyebrow trying to join
their hairline, obviously trying to avoid getting scinged by the fire
in their eyes that they turned on the two on the biobed.
Unable to hold their mirth, they were laughing hysterically. The
doctor who was now a rather buxom blonde scantily clad in a bright
pink bunny costume that barely covered his 'feminine attributes'
which were a bit more generous than Seven's.
"Your right" Janeway choked out trying not to laugh "This is an
improvement"

Will that doc go on with his sexy self? Will Seven be jealous of the
doctor now that he's as gorgeous as she is? Will Tom Paris come in
for his Annual physical 'everyday from now on? I dunno but it does
make ya wonder...............don't it
