Disclaimer:
I do not own Orange County Choppers, nor any of the characters from it. I do not make any money from the writing of this story.
Chapter 7
Still don't own em.. For Full Disclaimer thingy read chapter 1.
Special thanks to Alauralen for helping me in her own way. I hope you get to feeling better. Also special thanks to Solaris.. Without your help and listening to be fuss and complain this story would not be happening. To anyone else who has reviewed thank you so much.
Sis hold your horses. The sexy chapter will be coming up sometime soon.
Also.. I made a huge mistake with Paul Sr's girlfriend's name. Her real name is Lucy and I will go back soon and correct it. I just wanted to get the next few chapters out before I edited the name. I promise I will get on it soon but from this chapter on out her name will be Lucy. *smiles and prays she is forgiven* I just didn't want anyone to be confused.
Also... I dedicate the character Mary to my deceased Grandmother. Her name was Mary and I have done more stories with my daughters name in them then her's. I will go ahead and warn you now. All flames about any of my characters besides Whitney will be used to cook my chicken patties that I am currently craving.
Chapter 7
Christy woke up the next morning and stretched. She glanced over at the clock and smiled. Paulie was gone but she knew he was at the shop already. The thing that was in her mind was that Whitney also worked there. She wondered just how much trouble that she would cause whenever she found out that she was no longer the prime candidate for Paulie's child. She got out of bed and put on her robe as soon as she heard a knock on the door.
Mary was standing on the other side waiting for her daughter to come and answer. Clint had just gotten off the phone with the Paul and Lucy would be there in a few hours to take Christy to the doctor. Christy opened the door and smiled.
"Lucy will be here within the next few hours to get you and take you to the doctor. Paul just called."
Christy nodded and went to take her shower. Mary on the other hand went to the bedroom to lay down.
As Christy was finishing up, Lucy rang the doorbell. Clint answered it and nodded and then yelled up the stairs for Christy. She quickly came down and smiled.
"Hello Lucy. How are you today?"
Lucy laughed. "Well I am as well as can be expected seeing I am now out of bed and playing driver for you. It is no trouble really."
Christy turned and kissed Clint goodbye. "Dadda. Where is Mamma?"
Clint looked down at her. "She is resting Christy. Said she wasn't feeling to well."
Christy nodded and went out the door. As they pulled off Clint sat on the couch. "How much more longer is Mary going to hide this from her children. They are bound to notice soon enough that something is wrong." He opened his eyes and went to check on his wife.
Christy and Lucy walked into the doctor's office. "Hello Lucy. Is this Christy?"
Lucy nodded and they gave her the paperwork to fill out. Soon she found herself in the examination room and a female doctor came inside. "Hello Christy. My name is Angela. I will be your doctor for the rest of the time you reside here. How about we check you out and get started. I know the reason you are here. Paul is one of my closest friends. I take it you and Paulie are going to do this natural?" Christy nodded. "Well then how about we get the information on your cycles and then we can move on."
Soon all the information was gathered and Angela left the room only to return a few minutes later with a package. "This Christy is an ovulation meter. Each morning you will put urine in it and it will tell you if you are close to ovulation. Once the meter reaches the mark which will turn red then you know you are close. Those are the days when you and Paulie need to have intercourse. Within the next few months we should start prenatal vitamins. I know this is a foul proof way. I used it myself."
Christy got all the information she would need and on the way home Lucy asked if she wanted to swing past the shop. Christy nodded with excitement wanting to see where they worked. As they parked and got out of the truck. Lucy listened and opened the door. No sooner than they had stepped into the shop Paul came out of the office slamming the door.
"THAT GIRL HAS GOT TO GO! WHAT THE FUCK IS HER PROBLEM? Hello Christy and Lucy. IF I HAD ANOTHER SECRETARY SHE WOULD BE GONE! How was the doctor's appointment? Did everything go well? PAULIE GET OVER HERE!"
Christy laughed as Paul went from loud to soft and back loud again. Paulie came over and smiled. Lucy told them everything the doctor had said and what was going on. Jamie came bouncing over.
"Hey Pop's. Christy could be your secretary. She has done that type of thing before."
Paul looked at her and cocked his eyebrow. "Do you want the job Christy? It would make it easier on you and Paulie."
Christy looked at Paulie. "Would you mind?"
He shook his head and she smiled. "Well then Pop's. I am guessing I have a new job."
Paul nodded and walked over to the door jerking it open. "WHITNEY! YOUR FIRED! GET THE HELL OUT OF MY SHOP!"
Christy stepped back as Lucy pulled on her arm. The door came flying opened and the girl in question stepped out. The phone started ringing and Lucy nodded at Christy. She picked it up. "Orange County Choppers. How may I help you?"
Paulie pulled out a chair for her as she looked for a pad and pen. "Ok. You want to order this. Yes Sir. I am taking notes right now. Yes Sir. You need this when? Yes Sir. I will pass this on to the shop owner and have him return your call. Your name Sir. Is that with two l's or one? Ok. And your phone number. Ok. Thank you sir. Someone will be in touch with you soon. What is a good time to call? Morning or afternoon? Thank you again sir for calling Orange County Choppers."
She spun around in the chair and held out the paper. "Here is his information. He is really nice." She rolled her eyes as the phone rang again. "Orange County Choppers. How may I help you?"
Whitney's face went red with anger. Paulie grabbed her arm and the entire shop went quiet. Christy turned and looked at Paul. "Someone named Justin is on the line. Say's he has some questions about a paint job on the theme bike."
Paulie took the phone. "Yeah Justin. Red is fine. Just do whatever you need to. Yeah. I am sorry about the deadline dude. We had some problems with the actual bike. Yep. I will be over later tonight." He was quiet for a few minutes and Christy watched his face start going red with anger. "Oh really Justin. I will talk to you about it tonight. I will straighten it all up then." Christy watched as he slowly hang up the phone and spun to Whitney and grabbed her arm again.
"You listen here and listen good. I don't know where in the hell you get off telling everyone that you are pregnant or are going to be pregnant by me. Before I just handed it off to wishful thinking on your part but whenever our painter tells me congratulations on the phone on the birth of our child that is it. Never will you be the mother of my child. I regret the day we ever met. I don't love you and will never love you. We were finished way before we even went to Daytona. So get over your self and get out of my face. If I hear of anymore of these stupid stories you will most regret the day we ever met. I swear this to you."
He pushed her backwards and stomped off to the bike he was building. Christy cringed at the thought of him being mad and couldn't get over how he had acted. As Whitney slammed the shop door she found herself wondering if her would be that way with their child. She turned back to the desk and was shocked to see Mikey standing there.
"Christy. Paulie isn't always like that. It takes a lot to set him off and hearing someone who has no ties to the shop what so ever and doesn't know what is going on congratulate him on the child that he is having with her. It kind of blew his top. He loves you already. Don't you worry about that. Trust me. He will be fine once he cools off."
Christy nodded and went back to the phones as he walked off. He hoped he had set her mind at ease over this and prayed that his brother's temper wouldn't run her off. He deserved to be as happy as him and Pop's was and he would do everything in his power to make it so.
