CHAPTER 7
They finished their meal and settled on to the couch.
“Want to watch a movie?” Grissom asked.
“Actually I’m very tired.”
“You can lie down in the bedroom.”
“I could go home.”
“I don’t want you to go.” Grissom admitted.
“Really?”
“Yes.”
“What does this mean? I mean for us.”
“I’m not sure. I don’t know what has come over me.”
Me either but I don’t want you to stop.
“We are friends. You sleep in my bedroom and I will sleep in the spare bedroom with the bugs.”
“Ok, I’m really tired. I don’t think I could sleep with the bugs.”
It’s not like I’ll be able to sleep anyway, not knowing you are in my bed. “Sleep well Sara.”
“You too, Griss.”
Sara made her way to the bedroom.
“Hey Sara.”
“Yeah.”
“Want to go back to AN ERZEKI INYENC before work?”
“Sure thing. I’ll see you in a few hours.”
Grissom made his way to the spare bedroom and settled in to sleep.
His mind wandered to Sara. Sara was in his bed.
“Mr Grissom or I mean Grissom, it is nice to see you again, and what can I get you?”
“Something good for me and Vegetarian for my guest please Danny.”
“Yes, Sir, right away.”
Danny returned with their orders and they dove in.
“This is the most amazing food I have ever eaten.” Sara mumbled between bites.
“I know what you mean. They know how to cook their bugs.”
“Griss, that is so gross, how can you eat that with bugs in it?”
“How can you eat tofu?”
“Point taken.” Sara licked her fingers. “Isn’t that Cath and Warrick over there?”
“Where?”
“In that booth. Is he feeding her?”
“It appears that way, yes.”
“When did that happen?”
“What happen?”
“Them. When did they become a them?”
“I’m not sure. Let’s remain hidden. I don’t want people to talk.” Not yet anyway.
