Chapter 6
Ch 6
Grace felt herself shudder in pain as she watched the sweat slowly trickle down Will's chest as they ran side by side in the early morning sun. They had already been jogging for an hour and the subject of choice still hadn't come up. It was eating her up ie. Se. She wanted to be with Will. She wanted him to take her to their apartment and make love to her all night. But was it just a dream, or was he finally going to reveal that he felt the same for her as she did for him. All these thoughts were running through her pretty little red head as they approached a coffee shop just a few feet ahead.
Their coffee arrived promptly and Will slowly sipped it. Grace watched his succulent lips only to feel her panties start to get a bit damp. She wanted him so badly. She refocused and decided to get the answer to her many questions once and for all.
“So, you said you wanted to tell me about something last night, remember?” Grace said eagerly.
“Oh, well, I don’t know how to say this, but Grace, I think I’m in love.” Will said slowly.
“You remember Greg?” He asked excitedly. “Well, he told me that he loved me last night over the phone. I know what I said about not being happy, but he said that he wants to settle with me. We love each other.”
Graces jaw dropped to the floor and her hearted ached with pain. How could this be? No! He was supposed to fall in love with me. No I can’t let this happen.
Will continued on about the details and his plans for the future. Grace just stared into his face and shut out every word he said. This couldn’t happen to her. She had to show him. He had to know how she felt. Without any more hesitation she made up her mind. She slowly got up from her chair and looked at Will with no emotion whatsoever.
“Meet me at the apartment in an hour, there’s something that must be said.” Grace turned and headed towards the market without a second glance in Will’s direction.
