A New Beginning
After Lori told Rick that there was no doubt the baby girl was his, he broke down in tears. He was angry at himself for not being more attentive to Lori, angry for not letting go of the past, angry for not listening to everyone when they tried to tell him to talk to her and move on. His daughter. His baby girl. They held onto each other as they cried.
They were both wounded. Lori said to him that life in this new world is too short, and the past should stay in the past. She forgave him, and asked his forgiveness for pushing him away. Rick nodded. They looked in each other's eyes for a moment, and Rick moved in for a kiss, which Lori accepted hungrily. Their remorse for the past two years turned into lust for each other. They shared their first kiss in two years. Each kiss became more passionate, and they were holding each other tightly. Rick's hands moved from Lori's back to her ass, pulling her to him, and his primal need came rushing back. He asked her if she's ready or if she to wait. She smiled and said they've waited long enough. He grabbed her hand and led her back into the cellblock, and he led her to his cell. They smiled tightly at the others as they walked by, realizing full well that everyone will know what they'll be doing, but not caring at all.
They were together for the first time in too long. Lori was just as nervous as she was the first time she spent the night with him. They kiss, gently at first, than more passionately. She pulled him toward his bunk. He toed off his boots, and she kicked off her shoes. He took off her shirt and bra, and placed his mouth over her nipple, sucking on it just like he used to. She moaned, and took his shirt off. He started to remove his gun belt, and she took that time to take off her pants and panties, and got into the bunk, ready for her husband. After they made love twice more, they heard Carol say "knock knock" at the cell door. Rick asks what's going on, and Carol replied that dinner will be ready soon. They quickly acknowledge Carol, and say they'll be right out. "Move into my cell tonight. Please." Rick said, and Lori looks him deep into his eyes, his beautiful blue eyes that looked so tired and sad.
She smiled and says "absolutely!" He grinned, and quickly kissed her again. They reluctantly got out of bed and got dressed, then went out to the table, hand in hand, and ate dinner with the rest of the family.
When they sat right next to each other, Hershel says "That's the best thing I've seen in a long time." Rick put his arm tightly around Lori, and held her close to him.
