Truth

Blood Oath

Alright, you deviants. I know exactly what your perverted brains have been waiting for, but you might have to wait just a little bit longer.

This will be a short chapter, but I'll probably publish the next one later on tonight.

Kurt was quiet, either in shock or simply processing the man's words, he wasn't entirely sure. Blaine wanted him. Him. Why? The boy wasn't stupid, even if he hadn't known what they were talking about last night, the guy had no doubt seen this morning after walking in on him.

He had to know what a freak Kurt was.

Yet he was still interested in him?

The thought was absolutely bewildering.

The teenager was snapped out of his reprieve by the feeling of warm lips kissing up his neck, shivering when a wet tongue dragged up the base of his throat, giving a little nip and sucking a dark red mark there.

All of these feelings rushing over him were so different, he didn't know what to think.

"Is everything alright?" Blaine whispered huskily in his ear, not missing the way Kurt's pulse sped up slightly.

"I..." He twisted around in the man's arms, staring up at the vampire with huge blue eyes, so beautiful and clear. "I just... I've never done anything like this..." He confessed.

It was the truth, but what he really wanted to do was tell Blaine to leave. He wanted the man to go before this went too far, or before Kurt get any more strangely attached to the handsome guy holding him, because it would only hurt even more when he left.

"Do you want it?"

Startled, the boy looked up, confusion marring his porcelain pale features, "Want what?"

Resisting the urge to roll his eyes at Kurt's innocence, Blaine his hand gently up the teen's spine, "This." He elaborated, cupping the back of his head and drawing him into another searing kiss that had him panting afterwards. "If you want me to go, tell me now, Kurt. Because I don't think I'll be able to control myself if this goes any further."

What the hell was that even supposed to mean?

Kurt gazed at the older male questioningly, unsure what he the words meant. It was as if they didn't have the option to stop once they got started. "I-I don't understand...control...?"

Still holding him close, Blaine buried his face in the boy's damp hair, inhaling his scent deeply. Just in case he didn't get to see him again for awhile, or ever, because he knew that this could potentially frighten the boy away, but he had to tell him. "What do you know about vampires?"

The brunette blinked, and before he could contain it, a nervous laugh escaped his lips. What kind of psycho did he allow entry into his home. "Uh... what?"

Blaine met his gaze, intense dark brown eyes seeming to stare right into his soul. "I'm a vampire, Kurt."

Suddenly feeling a bit frightened, Kurt shifted in the guy's lap, starting to get up, "Look, I think that... maybe this was a bad idea-"

The raven-haired man's hands suddenly closed around his wrists, tightly. Before he could ask him just what it was he was doing, Blaine was shoving him down with a surprising force, making Kurt gasp as he was pushed onto his back with the other male on top of him, pinning his hands down on either side of his head.

An icy chill ran up his back.

"Blaine? W-What...?" he twisted, his throat closing up.

Dear God, what had he gotten himself into this time?

"You don't believe me." Blaine's tone wasn't intimidating at all, in fact he sounded a little sad, but determined. "I cannot blame you, really. But I must show you the truth."

Wide-eyed, the teenager started struggling, trying to get the man off of him, but he couldn't get him to budge an inch, it was like trying to move a statue. Heart leaping into his throat, he began to shake slightly, "Please don't hurt me." He hated resorting to begging, but this situation felt so much more scary than any of the ones he'd faced at school, despite the voice in the back of his head telling him he had nothing to fear.

"I would never harm you, not ever." Blaine promised, sounding so strangely emotional that it made him stop squirming for a moment. "I just don't want you to get hurt if you try attacking me."

This situation just kept getting more and more weird, but he was no longer fighting to escape. "Why would I attack you?" That sounded so bizarrely reversed given their current position.

An unamused smile appeared on his face, as if he were thinking back to something that the question reminded him of. "Try to remember, no matter what, if you tell me to leave after this, I will respect your wishes." It sounded almost like a warning.

Blaine closed his eyes, and for a moment the room was silent, nothing seemed to happen. It was so strange. Then, a tiny click could be heard, and at first Kurt didn't understand what it was.

Then the man opened his eyes again, his lips parting, and he understood. It was terrifying, but he completely got it in a single instant. It all made surprising sense.

His eyes... Blaine's eyes were a dark, deep shade of ruby red, like pools of blood, shimmery and unsettling and yet frighteningly beautiful. His teeth... well, they were more or less normal, but there was an extra pair. Just two that were slightly longer than the rest, sharper, with little points. His complexion had washed out, his skin whiter, not enough to look too strange, but it was obvious to Kurt.

"Oh God..." He hadn't realized he'd even spoken it out loud.

A cold smirk twisted on his face, "Not quite." Blaine muttered, and there was an accent to his voice that hadn't been present before. It was... something he didn't recognize, something ancient, something dark. "Do you believe me now, little one?"

Too shocked to really form any words, Kurt nodded very slowly.

Despite the fact that every instinct in his body screamed at him to be terrified, he wasn't. The brunette had often chose to listen to his heart over his head, and right now his heart was telling him that Blaine was being sincere when he promised that he wouldn't hurt him.

Swallowing hard, the boy flexed his fingers, hands still trapped, but that was the least of his worries now. He finally managed to spit out something, even though it wasn't the first thing he would have asked, "How... how is this possible?"

Blaine actually paused for a moment, as if the question intrigued him. Eventually, he answered, "How is anything that exists possible, Kurt? Logically, humans should have wiped their own species out hundreds of years ago, but yet they survived. Evolution? Likely. Magic? Perhaps. A greater divine force above? So many people seem to believe, though I might be biased given the fact that I'm too considered a fairy tale, a myth. Religious figures and I can sort of relate in that way." His eyes sparkled with a dark sort of humor.

"Are you scared?"

The boy shook his head ever so slightly. "No." It came out in a whisper.

"You probably should be." Blaine told him, as though it were a warning, before suddenly letting go of Kurt and backing away.

He sat up, his wrists throbbing as the blood rushed back to them. "Why did you tell me this? It...it's a secret, isn't it?"

"Very much so..." Blaine hesitated, and there was a flicker of nervousness in his expression. "I am telling you this because you have the right to know. Kurt... you are my mate. My soul mate. The one that I have been searching for forever."

Okay, I know a lot of you didn't expect me to just jump in there and have Blaine confess his secret like that, but he always struck me as the type that wouldn't hide something like that from the person he knows he's in love with. Even on the show he immediately told Kurt when he realized he was starting to fall for him, and admitted when he cheated almost directly after it happened. I don't know if it's because he's a terrible liar or he can't stand hiding anything from Kurt, but...

This was never meant to be a very slow-paced romantic tale. I ain't goinna wait for thirteen chapters like Twilight did to have Kurt guess what Blaine is, and I sure as heck wasn't going to have their first kiss be another five chapters of that. This is not a wholesome love story, hehehe!
