chapter 6 Preparation and a wedding
Chapter 6
Preparation for the wedding
Vincent and catherine both got dressed still laughing from earlier when father had caught them naked still recovering from their passionate escapade. In fact catherine had never seen Vincent laugh so much in a long time.
"Vincent, you are beautiful when you smile and laugh, it is an absolute joy to feel your happiness." He wrapped his arms around her and kissed her softly
"I am happy because this week our dream, will finally come true, it is more than I could have hoped for and you made our dream possible catherine, for that I will love you beyond death and into eternity." He ran his hand over catherines behind slowly as they embraced each other.
"It is time to emerge from this chamber because you do know we have to eat as well?" Vincent groaned in protest as she pulled his hand and he followed reluctantly.
Pascal was following them and he came across them as vincent pulled catherine into another groping session in a dark corner of the tunnels.
"Huh hmmmmm" coughed pascal. Vincent and Catherine turned and grinned at him as they blushed deep red
"Will you two please control yourselves while you are in the dining room, we want to eat our dinner, not lose it" With that catherine and vincent promised to excise some self control at the dining table.
They both linked hands and walked into the dining room where everyone else was waiting. Vincent sat down next to catherine
and whispered something in her ear
She nodded and gave her agreement.
"Father, could I say the blessing of this meal" said catherine.
"Of course my dear" she cleared her voice
"We are gathered here as a community to give thanks for this meal as a family, May we all share and face things together as one true voice. Love brings us together not hate, trust brings us together not mistrust. Amen" Everyone raised their glass of wine and said amen
"That was lovely my dear girl" Jacob stood up and chinged his glass with spoon to get everyones attention
"I would like to announce that after two years of being together, vincent and catherine have told me they wished to joined in marriage....finally" he added "It gives me great Joy that vincent has found someone who is truly his soulmate in every way. Now I'm sure all you will wish them well in their new life together. My blessings to you both. I love you both." Jacob finished
catherine put her arms around father and mary and cried tears of happiness. She was too choked up to say anything
"Now let's eat"
after dinner They all went to the great hall to enjoy the childrens poetry
Catherine had fallen asleep laying back against vincents chest
He picked her up effortlessly and bade goodnight to father and the other elders
"Let's go and get you to bed, my love" he whispered softly to her
"I love you vincent" she mumbled
He layed her down and undressed himself as he watched his fiancee sigh contently
Vincent then curled up to his lover with his hand draped over her hips and fell to sleep with pleasant dreams to look forward to.
