Chapter 6 : Return To Smallville
Jan was the first to open his eyes and take in the beautiful body he was holding close. Beautiful golden locks and an angelic face were the sights he saw, but Linda's eyes were still closed. He had to get out of here, fast, before someone would find out about Finley's body. Plus, this wasn't really his own house. It was his family house, where he would go to, to think about certain events in his life. He hadn't counted on meeting someone as beautiful as Linda Lee in that coffee shop where he had saved her from her obsessive boss. He gently licked her lips, only to finalize his touch with a kiss.
"Jan... hey, good morning. What time is it?" Linda asked, as her eyes opened, her hands leaving his good looking body to stretch her arms. "It's almost noon, Linda. I've... actually been thinking about going back home." Jan told her, as he trailed his fingers over her nude body, taking in her smell. "What do you mean 'home'? I thought this was your home." Linda replied, her eyes taking in Jan again. "No, it's one of my parents's houses. My real home is in Smallville." Jan told Linda. Linda nodded. If she had her memories, she would surely have made a comment about that town.
Before Linda could reply, she was taken in Jan's arms and brought the shower in the bathroom. The two quickly took a shower, of course not without the touching and groping and splashing eachother with water.
After the shower, they had gotten dressed again, Linda in her normal clothes she had been wearing previously, the washing machine had cleaned her dirty clothes perfectly clean.
"Don't you want to take any stuff with you back to Smallville, Jan?" Linda asked as she grabbed her stuff that Jan had retrieved from Jacob's. "Nah, I got all my stuff there at home." Jan simply replied with a smile. "Well, are you ready to leave everything that's happened in Detroit behind?" Jan asked Linda. Linda nodded. "I don't even want to remember the awful things that have happened."
Jan hugs his love, then he takes her stuff and places it in his car when hey arrived outside to load the luggage in. Linda claims Jan's lips, before they get into the car to drive back to Smallville.
Son of a b*tch! Lex Luthor thinks as he watches the two drive off on the backseat of the limo that is parked on the side of the street. He had Kara Kent all this time without me knowing it?! The driver notices his boss's upset face. "Want me to go after them, Sir?" He asked Lex. But strangely, Lex shook his head. "I'll deal with him back in Smallville. Just take me home."
And so the journey begins, both cars going back home to Smallville. Each with a different reason to go back.
Meanwhile, Clark is at his loft, thinking about Kara. Nobody has been able to find her yet. He blames himself for slipping that crystal into the console, letting Bizarro get free and having his way with Lana. If Bizarro couldn't have Lana, then nobody could have Lana... so he tried to stop Bizarro from killing Lana, but it was too late. He hadn't been able to save her. The funeral had been a couple of days before. No matter what, I will find you, Cousin... Clark sadly thought as music from Clark and Lana's early days played on the radio.... reminding Clark of better times.
