Chapter Five
His Name in the Green
Flora Winters
I do not own Smallville or any of its amazing characters. I also do not own the idea of Poison Ivy. She is one of my favorite villains of all time.
Summary: A young botanist has a little accident in his green house and later sees Smallville ripe for the greening. This will have male/male parings, so if you don’t like it, don’t read it. There will also be some very strong language, just because I like using it.
Chapter Five
Dustin gazed around the empty school paper room and fought not to snort when Clark muttered “shit” under his breath. The Clark he knew would never say such words. Who was this mysterious stranger all dressed in black?
“Yours,” Dustin chuckled in question.
He gasped when Clark suddenly spun around and had him in his arms. The two were so close their noses were practically touching at the tips.
Glowing emerald orbs tinged with a hint of ruby were burning into his and Clark’s voice was like a deep predatory growl, “Mine.”
Dustin’s eyes glazed over in pleasure. Clark was so strong, it was frightening. It would take redwood to get between the two of them.
Clark nuzzled his cheek and breathed in his intoxicating scent. The very smell of Dustin was starting to drive him crazy with desire. The was the smaller man’s body felt in his arms was making him achingly hard.
“No,” Dustin said with deep sadness when he turned his mouth away which caused Clark to kiss his cheek instead. He wanted to cry because he wanted to kiss Clark so badly. He was terrified to even embrace him for fear of scratching him. He had tried to cut his nails before coming to school, but they just kept growing back, even more beautiful and deadlier.
“What’s wrong,” Clark asked in concern and kissed his pale throat which sent shivers down Dustin’s spine.
“I’m,” Dustin tried and let out a moan when Clark began to nibble on his earlobe, “I’m not ready for that first kiss just yet.”
“Ah,” Clark smiled and gently pulled back to look at his delicious flower, “A virgin, that’s okay, me too.”
Dustin very carefully put a creamy smooth hand on Clark’s golden arm, “I have class, and so do you, Clark.”
Clark lifted Dustin’s hand off his arm and brought it to his lips to kiss it, “See you at lunch?”
Dustin would have blushed if he could still do such a thing, but since he no longer had any blood flowing through his veins, he couldn’t.
“Where,’ he asked.
Clark thought it over for a moment and then pulled him closer to whisper in his ear, “The pool.”
Dustin’s brilliant green eyes sparkled, “Okay.”
Clark smiled and pecked him on the cheek before exiting the room.
Dustin watched him go and put his palm to his cheek where the feel of Clark’s warm kiss still lingered. He was grinning like a damn fool, but, he couldn’t help it. He was just so damn happy.
“Oh, dear,” Dustin said looking around at the jungle his happiness had turned Chloe’s Torch into. All of her inside plants was growing all over the place just to be close to him.
He bit his bottom lip and pushed back at them, “Be good babies for Daddy.”

Whitney could not believe that those two fools had just up and vanished into thin air. Where the hell had they gone? They had better not of gone to the fucking police. Well, if they had done that, he’d be in jail right now with them. The team was going to suffer if they did not show up soon.
“Mr. Thorn,” Mr. Baker said with a sneer, “You’re late.”
“So sorry,” Dustin said closing the door behind him and all eyes were glued to him, “I had this killer crick in my neck earlier.”
Whitney’s eyes were the size of silver dollars. What the fuck? He was dead! He was alive? Adam? Steve? Fuck!
“Do take a seat,” Mr. Baker said clearing his throat.
“About that quiz,” Dustin asked before even moving from the door, “I was practically dead yesterday and was wondering if you would be so kind as to allow me to make it up?”
Mr. Baker had to loosen his necktie, “Of course you may, Mr. Thorn.”
“Thank you, Mr. Baker,” Dustin said and walked back to take the empty seat beside a very stiff looking quarterback.
“Why Whitney,” Dustin chuckled and grinned at him, “You’re so pale. You look as though you’ve seen a ghost.”
Mr. Baker cleared his throat once more and all eyes begrudgingly turned back to him, except for Whitney. He had not fucking moved.
Dustin just smiled and took his notes like a good little pupil. He was not going to allow his unbridled hatred towards Whitey affect his GPA in any way. So, he was simply going to kill the son of a bitch.
Whitney raised his hand faster than lightning, “I have to go to the restroom.”
“Of course you do,” Mr. Baker said and Whitney fled from the room.
“You can run, human,” Dustin chuckled to himself as he continued taking notes, “But there is nowhere on or below Mother Nature’s green earth you can hide from me.”

Clark was sitting on a bleacher when he heard the double doors open. It was Dustin. He could pinpoint that heartbeat out of a million.
His red haired beauty came walking around the corner to see him and smiled brightly. He was absolutely radiant, and why did he have to go and change shirts for? That mesh had been really hot, but this green shirt was nice, too.
“Why did you change,’ Clark asked with a playful pout.
“Because,” Dustin said taking a seat next to him, “Green’s the new red.”
In all honesty, he had gotten cold. They kept this school too damn cold. He was going to have to do something about that.
“Take it off,” Clark whispered and tugged on it.
“Why, Clark Kent,” Dustin laughed, “I do declare.”
“Come on,” Clark said taking off his own and Dustin saw that he was barefoot when he stood up, and by the Green his body was beyond that of Roman Gods, “Let’s get wet.”
Dustin looked at the pool and knew that it was full of chlorine. But, Clark’s body would make grown Gods weep in envy.
“I don’t have a change of pants,” he quickly said.
“Then take them off,” Clark grinned looming down at him.
“No,” Dustin said and shook his head, “Anybody could just walk in and see us, Clark.”
“Your right,” Clark said looking around and Dustin watched him disappear around the corner.
Dustin just stood there and jumped when he heard a weird noise. What in the hell was that boy doing?
“There,’ Clark said walking back around the corner towards him, “Took care of that little problem.”
Dustin blinked, “What did you do?”
“Put a steel rod through the door handles,” he said, “Now they won’t open from either side.”
Dustin just looked at him and put a hand on his hip, “You’re not kidding?”
“Nope,” Clark said and took off running and dived into the blue water head first.
Dustin shivered. How the hell was he going to get out of this one?
Clark came up and pushed his dark hair out of his eyes and waved at him, “Come on.”
“I don’t know how to swim,” Dustin lied as he walked over.
“You can hold onto me,” Clark said and swam up to the edge where he was standing with his hands on his hips.
Clark reached out and tugged on his pant leg, “Come in.”
Dustin looked around and slowly began to pull off his green shirt.
Clark drank the sight of him in as he stripped before him. His body was so flawlessly perfect. He wanted to taste and touch every inch of him. He was like an alabaster Greek God.
Dustin stood before Clark in nothing but his green boxer shorts. He had made sure to wear them. He didn’t know why. Some habits just die hard. He did.
“Beautiful,” Clark complimented and floated back as Dustin lowered himself into the polluted water.
“Funny,” Dustin thought to himself, “This water is not hurting me.”
“Hold onto me,” Clark said, “I can float for the both of us.”
Dustin smiled and put his arms around his corded neck, “Okay.”
“See,” Clark said, “Why so scared?”
“Just to be difficult,” Dustin offered in amusement.
“I love a challenge,” Clark said and removed his ponytail band, “Almost as much as I love your hair when it’s free like this.”
Dustin looked down so that his eyes were on Clark’s chest under the blue water. Did Clark really have feelings for him? Did Clark only like him like this because he was absolutely gorgeous now?
“What’s wrong,” Clark asked as he floated on his back with Dustin on top of him, “You seem so sad somehow?”
“Why are you doing this,” Dustin asked and held on as Clark moved so they could be eye level again, “Why do you like me?”
“Why,” Clark asked and then smiled, “You were shy, not outspoken. You were hiding yourself in the deep dark earth, too afraid to reach out for the sun. You reminded me of me.”
Dustin’s green eyes widened. How had Clark known that? He had kept too himself. Had he been so easy to read?
“Now,” Clark said as he floated them over to the shallow end, “You’ve blossomed into something wild and beautifully untamable.”
“You have friends,” Dustin whispered, “You are never picked on.”
“I do have friends,” Clark said, “And I have been picked on a lot. Whitney and his posy are always giving me a hard time.”
Dustin felt a violent wave of wrath rush through him. He was going to make that rat bastard pay even more.
“I’m different,” Clark said, “Shy, clumsy, bashful, and tripping over walls that just aren’t there.”
Dustin snorted and Clark smiled. That was him all right.
“But,” he said caressing a smooth pale arm that seemed to glow in the light, “We’re different now…stronger.”
Did Clark have multiple personalities? Dustin couldn’t really decide. Hell, he could control plants and hear them speak.
“I like you,” Clark smiled and ran his golden fingers through Dustin’s wet hair that looked like the color of blood.
“Me, too,” Clark said honestly, “I was afraid of admitting to myself that I’m into guys as well as girls.
“Would you have ever come onto me like this if I had not transformed myself,” Dustin asked.
“Probably not,” Clark said and he was being completely honest, “It took your transformation to make me realize and feel brave enough to admit to how I feel about my own sexuality.”
Dustin didn’t know what to think. He didn’t know if he should feel proud or put down. It was a mix.
“Can I kiss you now,” Clark asked and floated closer to him.
The bell suddenly rang and Dustin thanked the Green for such wonderful timing. He was so happy and so sad at the same time. Of course he wanted Clark to kiss him. He wanted Clark to kiss him until he couldn’t breathe.
“Yes,’ Dustin said and Clark’s eyes lit up like a Christmas tree, “On the cheek.”
“You’re going to make me work for this,” Clark asked with a cocked eyebrow and a playful pout, “Aren’t you?”
Dustin hid his sadness behind a brilliant smile, “Yep.”
“So be it,” Clark said and kissed him on the cheek…and then splashed him.
