Chapter 6


Nathan's Pov


I just know that something is going on with Lucas and Haley, but why would Haley like him? I mean the guy is a jackass, he is a prick. I just don't understand why anyone would like him, especially Haley. She is TOO good for him.

I can't help but walk around the halls of Tree Hill hurt and pissed off. I was practically bumping into everyone who passed and growelled at a few people. I punched a few lockers. I was ticked off. Lucas had everything. He is rich and popular and he is trying to take the ONE thing that I have, that belongs to me?


I see some hot cheerleaders ahead of me and I notice that Brooke is amoung them. I walk up to them and twirl her around and place a wet kiss on her lips, shoving my tongue in her mouth, making her drop her pom poms. I know that if she was not agains't a locker then she'd probaly fall. As I was kissing her I was amazing it being Haley's lips that I was kissing. I hear her moan in my mouth and I hear her girlfriends giggling and cheering Brooke on.

End of Nathan's Pov

~ Haley is looking for Nathan, she wanted to appologize and she see's someone making out with Brooke and notices that it was her Nathan. That breaks her heart. She is very jealous. She decided to do the one thing that she new would hurt Nathan. Tutor Lucas. Be around him, would kill Nathan and make him jealous. Well pay backs a b**ch.
Nathan did not no that Haley was watching him make out with Brooke and did not see the hurt in her eyes.

Haley quickly turned around and went looking for Lucas. She saw him leaning on some lockers with Tim and some of his jock boys. They whistle at her. She walks past his loser friends and stands in front of him. She glares at him. "Fine, I'll do it you asshole, but if you try anything, you'll wake up with one ball." Haley said seriously. Lucas smirked at her and grabbed her and pulled her closer.
He whispers in her ear so that Haley and Tim can hear, "Baby when you talk like that, you do this to me." Lucas grinded her, so that she'd feel his cock thru his pants. He was hard. She glared at him and slapped him. "Aww honey, you know you want it, stop trying to deny it." Lucas said laughing. "You can slap me all you want in bed, I promise."

She spit in his face and walked away from those assholes. She had to get out of there. She was so pissed off right now, and hurt by Nathan. He obviously was having kinkie dreams about Brooke and not me. He wants Brooke. I should've known. That b**ch gets everyone, even the one guy that I want and love. God I hate popular people.

Haley's Pov


I am sitting in my room reading a book, or trying to. Lucas was supposed to come over tonight for our tutor session. He is over an hour late, so I kinda gave up on him. I have so many things on my mind today. Nathan and I have not talked at all today, and it saddens me. He really hurt me when he kissed Brooke. He does not even know her, well I guess he does not need to know her, for just sex right? She's a skank why would he want her? All of a sudden I hear a loud bang, coming from downstairs. I don't know what it is, so I just go down there slowley, to the door. As I open my door I am shocked to what I see.

Lucas Scott is at my door, shirtless, and he was obviously drunk. He was stumbling, trying to keep his balance. I just glare at him. How dare he come to my house drunk, when we were supposed to be studying.

"Hey Hallie." Lucas slurred.

I glare at him. "It's HALEY you jackass." I said and turned inside, hoping he'd get the picture and follow me. I know he is checking out my @$$, he is one of those perverted males. If I was a slut i'd shake it for him, but i'm not a slut.

"Nice @$$ Hallie." Lucas said while stumbling. You see I new he would say something like that.

"Nice chest." I said for him not to hear me, and even if he did hear me he would never remember it in the morning.

He chuckled. "Jeeze Haley James, I new you wanted me."

I groaned. He heard me. I immeidately blushed. He walked up to me and said. "Shh, Shh, there is no need to be embaressed, I know I am hot, you know I am hot, everyone knows I am hot." Lucas said while leaning over and placed his lips on me, shocking me, I was not expecting that. All I could taste was beer, it was disgusting, he shoved his tongue in my mouth. I let him kiss me.

Nathan's Pov

I've been trying to call Haley alll night and she was been ignoring my calls so I decided to go over there myself. When I got to her door, I saw Lucas's mustang there, and I was worried about Haley. What was she doing with that jerk? I storm in the house and What I saw makes me very angry. Lucas has his hands on Haley's @$$ and his lips all over her.

"HALEY what the hell are you doing? You know this guy is scum. And besides what about our pact? Did it mean nothing to you?" I screamed at her.

When she heard my voice she froze, and pulled away from Lucas. Lucas was grinning, I could telll that he was drunk, quite possiably stoned.

She turned around and glared at me.

"Oh give it up Nathan, he is your brother, why do you guys have to hate eachother, huh? Can't I tutor him, without you screaming at me?" She said.

I look at her like she is dumb, "Tutoring him? Is that what that was called, with his tongue, and him fondling you? Because if that is what it is called, then I need to get in line for your tutoring sessions." I said pissed. "You know what Haley? What he said last night was true, you are not worth it, I am too good for you, your nothing but a SLUT. All this time I thought you were actually helping people out with there grades, and you were probaly stripping for them if they got an answer right. I don't even know you anymore Haley James." I said walking to the door.

Haley was about to burst down in tears. Nathan has never talked with her that way.

"Your an asshole Nathan SCOTT, the last name says it all, your just like your father and your brother." Haley screamed at me.

"DON'T YOU EVER CALL THEM THAT, they are NOTHING to me. I figured out of everyone you'd know me that well Haley!" I said walking out the door.

"GO BACK TO YOUR GIRLFRIEND, or YOUR SLUT BROOKE, SINCE SHE IS SO MUCH BETTER THEN ME. SHE'LL SPREAD HER LEGS IN A SECOND FOR YOU." Haley said before I left.

I just turned and looked at her and smirked, "Maybe I will, thanks for giving me that wonderful idea Haley. It's not like I was ever going to get anything from you, you fucking prude. Why don't you go f**k the bastards son." I said.

"Because i'd rather f**k LUCAS." Haley screamed back at me.

Ohh no she did not. I so can not belive that she said that.'

"YOUR just like all of them. I'm surprised you are not a Scott." I said and left.

Haley's Pov

Lucas was clapping the whole time that Nathan and I fought. When he left he slammed the door in my face and I broke down in tears. I can not belive of all the mean things that we said to eachother. I know I did not mean any of them. I was just hurt. But something tells me that Nathan meant them all.

That last thing I said was horriable, I basically called him a bastard, and he is a bastard and that hurts him, because everyone makes fun of him calling him that and his best friend just called him that. What a nice friend I am huh?

Lucas is laughing and whistling and clapping, he obviously enjoyed the show. I just glare at him and run up the stairs in tears. I slammed my door shut but I did not lock it. Whenever I fought with anyone else, Nathan would be holding me while I cried, now I have no one to hold me. I try to hide my face deep down in my pillow.


I just lost the most important person in my life.

End Of Haley's Pov

Lucas's Pov


I can't believe that I just witnessed that whole fight between Haley and my brother. Normally I'd ruin the both of them and spread it around the school, cuz that is a jackass thing to do, but as I see the tears in Haley's eyes I feel sorry for her. Sure i'm not friends with her but i've been mean to her lately because of my past with Nathan and she does not deserve it. She is a nice person, well to everyone but me.

It was so obvious that those two had a thing for eachother. There was so much sexual tension in the room. And I could tell that Nathan's heart was broken when he saw us kissing. And I also can tell that Haley was hurt by the sound of hearing Brooke's name on her lips, about Nathan and him kissing. These two kids are so stupid. All they are doing is ruining there friendship when they are supposed to gain love and happiness.

I don't know why but I find myself going after Haley when she ran upstairs in tears. I find her room easilly because I can hear her sobbing thru the door and I open it up and I sit on the bed wrapping my arms around her, trying to calm her down.

"Shh its ok." I said in a calming voice.

She continued to cry, making my shirt wet with her tears. I kept on rubbing her back, wishing that we were making out and not me comforting her, but at least I can touch her.

"What are you doing in here?" Haley whispered, not being able to yell at me when I know she so desperately wanted to do.

I chuckle. "I"m trying to calm you down."

"I don't need your pity. You probaly had a blast watching that scene." Haley said.

"Ya I did, but your crying so i'm trying to be a nice guy." I said.

"If you wanna be a nice guy then leave us alone. Stop harressing us all." Haley said quietly.

I smile at her. She was someone that he'd never known before.

"I can't do that." I said.

"Why not?" Haley said.

Because I like you. I thought.

I leaned down and kissed her on the lips and then her forhead, and then her cheeks, and held her until we both fell asleep.

I know when she wakes up she is going to flip out, when she realizes that I slept in the same bed with her, and my arms around her.
