House grinned evilly at his ducklings. "So, if I say 'I told you so,' would that make me immature?" Chase rolled his eyes while Foreman and Cameron scowled at the lanky doctor. It didn't help that the two of them had gone behind House's back to Cuddy for a treatment that made their patient worse rather than better. House had swooped in at the last minute (like he always did) and got the correct treatment started. A voice from the doorway startled them.
"You mean MORE immature, right?" Wilson stood there grinning at them. "Anyways, sorry to interupt, but are we still on for tonight? Torie has been bugging me nonstop to make sure you're there." House nodded in response.
"Yep. We'll be there. Jerry's, right?"
"Yes. At eight. If you're late, she's gonna skin me." Wilson shrugged in bewilderment. "Although how it's my fault escapes me. See you then." He casually strolled back in the direction of his own office. Cameron immediatly faced House.
"'We'?" she asked in a slightly... aw, who was Chase trying to kid? A majorly jealous tone.
"Yes, we. As in me and someone else. Possibly multiple someones." House limped out and toward the elevator, presumably to try and get out of his clinic hours.
Cameron turned to the other two. "Who do you think he's talking about?" Chase rolled his eyes again and thought to himself that he'd better stop doing that. He was starting to give himself a headache. Foreman shrugged. "c'mon you guys. Aren't you curious?" Foreman grinned and finally gave in.
"Yeah, I wanna know who would put up with him. I say WE go to Jerry's." Cameron nodded in agreement and added, "Maybe we should invite Cuddy, too." Foreman agreed and the both of them turned to Chase. "Are you in?" Cameron asked. Chase sighed.
"Sure."
A/N: I'm so sorry about the long wait and the tiny chapter. I've been so busy, school full time and work full time. Not to mention my dog just broke BOTH of her front legs. Ai. Anyways, as always, let me know what you think!
