My Everything

Tori and Blake have been split for the last five months thing weren’t getting any better for them. Blake had been hooking up with random girls after every race but no of them ever compared to the girl he loved. He just couldn’t admit that fact that he had been an ass to her and was an idiot to break up with her because she hurt his pride. Tori on the other hand was trying to keep herself busy to forget about him. It was getting closer to Christmas and Tori had made the decision she was going to head back home.

“I am going to miss you guys,” Tori said hugging all of them. “But I will write you guys every chance I get,” she said softly.

“I just can’t believe you’re giving all of this up,” Cindy replied. “I mean this was your dream,” she said smiling.

“Dreams change,” Tori said softly. “My dream now is to get past the last few months and start something new,” she said smiling.

“You ever need us to beat up that ass hole Blake,” Tirra replied. “You give us a call,” she said with a small laugh.

“Thank but I don’t think he’ll be coming around me anymore,” Tori said softly. “I got to go thanks for the best time,” she said looking at her coach.

“Anytime,” Ms. Harris replied. “You know there is always a spot for you here,” she said in a firm voice.

“Thank but it’s time to go home,” Tori said closing her door. “Bye guys,” she said waving and hit the road.

Tori hadn’t told her friends yet that she was planning on staying for good. They basically thought she was just hear to visit them over Christmas. “There she is,” Marah said with a huge smile on her face as the van pulled up.

“Hey guys,” Tori said getting out of the van. “Miss me?” She asked with a small smile and they all came over to hug her. “Take that as a yes,” she said laughing.

“Move out of the way for that father,” Ron said hugging her close. “I am just sorry I have to leave so soon but the road calls,” he said softly.

“And the store will be close until we get back,” Kelly said holding her close. Tori nodded her head smiling and hugged her.

“Good he could use some company,” Tori said replied then he looked over at Hunter. “You going to give me a hug,” she said coming over.

“I just thought you’d want to stay from the Bradley’s after what happened,” Hunter said causing her to sigh looking down.

“Look your brother broke my heart,” Tori said with tears in her eyes. “But my you’re my friend and I hope that doesn’t change,” she said softly.

“Never,” Hunter said hugging her close. “But he is coming home for Christmas and going up to the cabin with us are you okay with that?” He asked causing her to nod.

“I can but my prejudice aside for a couple weeks,” Tori said smiling. “But there is something I need to tell you all,” she said heading inside and they followed.

“What is it sweetie?” Ron asked causing her to turn to them.

“I am not renewing my contract with the Reefside Warrior’s,” Tori began. “I want to come home and I hope you’ll be happy for me,” she said causing them to stay silent.

“You’re back for good?” Kapri asked causing her to nod. “This is great,” she said squealing with her sister and everyone else came running over.

“As long as this is what you want?” Ron asked causing her to nod.

“I miss it here,” Tori said looking around. “Besides I got other dreams in mind,” she said smiling causing them to arch their eyebrow.

Kelly and Ron had left later that night and they were at the Bradley apartment. A knock came at the door causing Tori to catch her breath. “I’ll get it,” Hunter said opening the door. “Hey bro!” He said clasping hands with him and their eyes met.

“Tori,” Blake said with no emotion what so ever.

“Blake,” Tori replied. “How have you been?” She asked in a low voice.

“Pretty good,” Blake said softly. “You?” He asked in a low voice.

“Good,” Tori replied. “Look I gotta head home to some packing and look for a good job to support myself later,” she said walking out the door.

“Why does she have to look for a job?” Blake asked receiving dirty looks from the girls.

“She gave up her contract for next year wants to come home,” Hunter replied. “There some good on the kitchen table,” he said grabbing his bags and put them in the room.

Blake and Tori had to avoid each other as much as possible until they went to the cabin. It was at Big Bear Mountain the most beautiful place to be for Christmas. They got into their cabin and it was huge and they all picked out their rooms.
Hunter had shared a room with his brother, Dustin and Marah were in a room, Shane and Kapri were in a room, Cam and Leeann were in a room, and Tori was alone again. They had decided to go out to lunch and were catching up on everything.

“Tori did you meet any cute guys in Mami?” Kapri asked causing her to look up.

“Doubt it,” Blake said under his breath causing her to glare.

“Actually I did,” Tori replied. “He was one of the star basketball players,” she said.

“Was it Darius Mills?” Marah asked with a smile.

“Yeah,” Tori said nodding. “Why do you ask?” She asked causing the girls to point over to the bar. She turned around to look over and smiled to herself.

“Darius Mills,” Tori said causing him to turn around. “No hug for an old friend,” she said opening her arms a little.

“Little Ms. Tori,” Darius said hugging her and lifting her off the ground. He placed her down on the ground and spun her around. “You are as beautiful as ever,” he said kissing her hand.

“Thank you,” Tori said blushing. “You don’t look to bad yourself but what are you doing all the way out here and in the snow,” she said laughing and he laughed with her.

“With family for Christmas,” Darius replied. “Look I gotta get going but you want to have dinner tonight catch up,” he said softly.

“Yeah I like that,” Tori said smiling. “Here is my address pick me up at seven,” she said softly.

“Count on it,” Darius said kissing her on the cheek. “Bye,” he said before walking out. Tori turned around with a huge smile on her face and the girls all high fived her.

“You two seemed close,” Hunter said looking over at his brother then back at her.

“We kind of had a thing to months when we were there for another game,” Tori began. “But then I had to leave,” she said laughing.

“Maybe it’ll be more then just a thing this time Tori,” Kapri replied causing her to shrug her shoulders. Blake clenched his fist together and went back to eating his meal.

Later that night she was getting ready for her date with Darius and was nervous. She came out of her room and they all turned to look at her. “Wow,” Hunter said in shock.

“What do you think?” Tori asked spinning around. She was in a short jean shirt, with a blue halter top and white fur boots that go with a matching jacket.

“You are going to melt the snow,” Kapri said looking at her.

“Or get hit up for service,” Blake said under his breath.

“Blake,” Shane said looking at him in shock.

“No its okay,” Tori replied. “Why do you have to be such an ass?” She asked.

“Because your flaunting yourself for a guy you barely even know,” Blake said coming over to her and she slightly laughed.

“Sounds to me like your jealous,” Tori replied. “Well news flash Blake you broke with me remember I have the right to move on,” she said hearing a knock at the door.

“He’s here,” Leeann said opening the door and he came in.

“Wow,” Darius said looking down at her. “You’re gorgeous,” he said holding up some flowers and she took a smell. “It took me forever to find blue ones,” he said smiling.

“I love them,” Tori said with a smile.

“I put these in some water and you guys have a good time,” Kapri said pushing them out and handing her the jacket. “Bye,” she said before closing the door.

“Okay,” Darius said laughing. “You ready to go?” He asked.

“Yeah,” Tori said laughing and he led her to the car. Blake slammed his cup down and went to his room. Hunter followed behind his brother to see what the hell his problem was.

“What’s going on?” Hunter asked. “Tori is right you have no right to talk to her like that you did break up with her,” he said sitting down on the bed.

“Only because she called me a cry baby,” Blake replied. “And acted like my feelings didn’t matter,” he said firmly.

“Okay let’s switch positions,” Hunter began. “Let’s say you would have to go right away how would expect her to react,” he said.

“With understanding because this is-“ Blake said stopping himself. “Okay so I am an idiot,” he said sitting on the bed. “But when that happen I didn’t get to see her for a year I was just so happy and it was taken away from me,” he said looking down.

“Do you want to be with her?” Hunter asked softly.

“Yes,” Blake said nodding his head. “But so many things have happened and now that she is out with that loser it wouldn’t matter anyway,” he said standing up.

“You don’t know that till you try,” Hunter said walking out of the room. Blake looked at himself in the mirror and saw a tear come down his face.

Darius and Tori were having dinner but she seemed to be some place else. “So that guy was giving me a dirty look,” Darius replied causing her to look up.

“Who?” Tori asked arching her eyebrow.

“The one in the navy shirt,” Darius replied softly.

“Oh um that’s Blake,” Tori replied causing him to nod his head.

“Oh the ex’s,” Darius replied. “You have the same friends,” he said causing her to nod.

“Yeah,” Tori replied. “But I don’t care about him anymore,” she said firmly.

“You don’t really believe that do you,” Darius said causing her to shoot her head up. “I mean coming on both of you still want to be together or he wouldn’t have looked at me that way he did and you wouldn’t have been off in space,” he said.

“I am sorry,” Tori began. “I do like you I just-“ she trailing off.

“Love him,” Darius finished.

“Yeah,” Tori said nodding her head. “But it doesn’t matter anyway because he doesn’t feel the same I know it,” she said looking down.

“You don’t know unless you ask,” Darius replied causing her to sigh. They went back to eating and just enjoying each others company as friends.

Blake heard a car pull up in the driveway and looked out the window. Darius walked her to the door and they met in a small kiss. Blake felt his heart break in two and went up to his room. He thought he had lost her for food now and there was no point in trying. Tori came walking in with a smile on her face glad she had that talk with Darius. She headed off to her room and was going to talk with Blake once she got up the courage too.

The next morning they woke up to the smell of breakfast and went down to eat. “Guys there is something I need to tell you,” Tori said getting their attention. “I am joining the academemy as a teacher for that Water Ninjas,” she said causing them to cheer.

“That’s great Tori we thought we were going to die when Ken left,” Shane replied causing the others to laugh slightly.

“I also still want to have some dance in my life,” Tori began. “So I convinced Sensei to bring dance into the academy’s and Leeann offered to help with the with Thunder academy,” she said smiling over at her.

“That’s awesome,” Kapri said clasping hands with her sister. “Take a look at your fist students,” she said with a smile on her face and the blonde laughed.

“How was your date last night?” Leeann asked causing her to smile..

“It was good,” Tori began. “He was sweet, funny, really cute everything I wanted in a guy,” she said taking a bite of her food.

“I am going for a walk,” Blake said getting up from the table. Tori turned around watching him walk out the door and sighed deeply.

“You know I am tired of this,” Tori said getting up from the table and followed him out. She followed him over to the lake were kids were ice skating. “Blake!” She yelled.

“Shouldn’t you be off banging your boyfriend,” Blake said in a harsh tone. Tori took some of the snow in her hand and tossed it at his face.

The others came running out see what happened and stood back in shock. Blake got up from the ground and walked over to her. “What was that for?” Blake asked.

“For you being an ass,” Tori said glaring at him and they heard a scream. A kid that was one the ice hand fallen in. “Hold on,” she said feeling her ranger instincts kick in and jumped in the water.

“TORI!!” They all yelled watching her dive into the water.

“My baby!” The mother yelled running over. “Where is she?” She asked looking around the water and Tori finally came up with her.

“Take her,” Tori said with a shaky voice and they pulled her to shore. Tori was so cold that she had passed out and fell back into the water.

“Tori!” Blake yelled before taking off his coat and jumping into the water. He came up from air and looked around the ice. “Tori,” he said before diving back in.

“Oh my god,” Kapri said placing his hand over her mouth. Blake came up from the water after a few minute which seemed to last forever with the blonde in his arms.

“Get her,” Blake said causing his brother to pull her out and Shane grabbed Blake. “She’s not breathing,” he said trying to give her mouth to mouth.

“I called the ambulance,” the mother replied. “She saved my baby,” she said looking at the little girl in her arms. “She saved her,” she said holding her daughter close who was still cold.
They finally got her to the hospital where she was being treated for hypothermia. She had some swelling in her brain so she hadn’t woke up for the last three days. Blake had never left her side and just prayed that she would wake up soon. Darius came walking into the room and he glared up at him. “Where have you been?” Blake asked.

“Excuse me,” Darius asked looking at him.

“You are Tori’s boyfriend you should have been here,” Blake replied stepping up to him. Hunter got in front of his brother pushing him away.

“I am not her boyfriend,” Darius replied. “We went out once and the whole time she was thinking about you so I told her to talk to you and tell you how she felt,” he replied.

“What?” Blake asked looking up at her.

“Yeah,” Darius replied. “This girl still loves you,” he said in a firm voice. Blake looked down at her and then walked out of the room.

“Bro!” Hunter said running after him and turning her around.

“I could have killed her,” Blake replied. “She came after me to tell me she loved me and this happened,” he said looking in her room.

“No this happened because she was saving a little girl,” Hunter replied. “And you saved her and once she wakes up you have to tell her you love her,” he said firmly.

“I gotta go,” Blake said walking out of the hospital.
