Chapter 5
Sam met Dean out by their cars at the end of the day like he always did. He was dreading talking to Dean because he knew he would make fun of him because Cassie could read him so easily. Also, he was dreading going to work because one, he didn’t like it very much, and two, he didn’t feel well and he couldn’t figure out why. He threw his stuff into his car and waited for Dean to come and torture him. As if on cue,
“Heya Sammy, how was your talk with Cassie?” Sam could hear the amusement in Dean’s voice.
“She was mad because she, en quote, ‘missed hot boy action,’ end quote.” Sam answered, with air quotes and all, stopping Dean in his tracks.
“What?!” he squeaked.
Sam looked up at Dean and smiled, knowing he had gotten the better of the other man. “Mad that she ‘missed hot boy action.’” He did the air quotes for extra emphasis. Sam thought he was hallucinating when Dean’s face turned bright red. He pointed his finger at Dean before he exclaimed, “You’re blushing!” Dean turned away from Sam before he mumbled an, ‘am not,’ and getting in his car to go home. Sam buckled over laughing, clutching his stomach like he was in pain before he could make it to his car to follow Dean back to their apartment. He’d call into work sick.
It was mid October, and Sam couldn’t have been happier. Since he didn’t have to pay rent anymore, he had quit his job at ‘The Crew.’ He had enough money saved up to last him a while, so he didn’t have to worry about gas or food money. Him and Dean were beyond happy. Not only was the sex great, they would talk for hours, major chick flick moments, not that either of them would admit it. Sam had decided to stay home from school because he was too tired to function properly. He stood in front of the bathroom mirror looking at himself. He couldn’t figure out what was wrong. He looked perfectly healthy, hell, he had even gained wait. He pulled up his t-shirt and looked down at his rounding belly. He definitely couldn’t figure out what was going on with that. Dean had commented on it the other night while they were lying in bed. He had said that he thought the extra weight looked cute on him. He disagreed. He put the t-shirt back over to his burgeoning belly and went over to his lap top. He had no idea why, but he decided to look up ‘GAY SEX’ on Google. It came up with thousands of sites, but the fifth one down is what interested him. ‘GAY SEX AND THE PHENOMENON OF MALE PREGNANCY.’ Sam visibly paled. He clicked on the site and read through it.
‘Gay sex involves two men-’
“Duh,” Sam mumbled before he continued reading.
‘engaging in anal sexual intercourse. There is penetration to the anus-’
“Duh again.” Sam skipped over the how to section down to the part he was interested in.
‘Male pregnancies are a “natural phenomenon” in very few men. It has yet to be determined why exactly this occurs. Only ten cases have ever been recorded. In all cases, the bearing partner, the one carrying the child, came through the pregnancy perfectly fine. Male pregnancy gestations are only three months long, we do not yet know why. Conception seems to happen within the first couple times of intercourse, so it is very easy to determine when fertilization occurred, and as such, when birth will occur.’
‘Men give birth through the anus. It occurs much in the same sequence a female’s labor occurs, except before labor fully occurs, the man’s body cleans itself out to prepare for the birth. Once the body is finished cleaning itself, it is within two hours that the water breaks. Labor for men seems to happen much faster than in women. Men fully dilate within an hour ,their hips expanding a great deal to accommodate the child, and give birth within four. Again, it is not known why birth happens so quickly. Men also deliver an after birth just as women do. So far, this is all the information that we have on male pregnancies, and further research is being conducted.’
Sam stared blankly at his lap top before coming back to himself. He pulled his t-shirt up again to stare at his enlargening belly in amazement. He was pregnant. He was having his and Dean’s baby. He was a guy. He was pregnant. He had no idea what to do or how to feel. He splayed his other hand over his belly and squeaked when something pushed it away.
“Oh shit.”
