Among Man

I do not own Smallville or Kyle XY.
Summary: Move over Roswell. What if Kyle XY woke up in Kansas and was found by a real alien?
Chapter Four
The eldest queen of the Lilim was really enjoying her flight in First Class. She had little bottles of liquor all lined up in a pretty row, and she was taste testing each one. Oh, the joys of being young and beautiful once more. She was going to have herself a real good time when she carved out that little star’s heart. He was going to be so doped up on her magic that he wouldn’t know what was happening until her enchanted crystal blade ate its way through his chest cavity.
She threw her head back and cackled with evil laughter. All of this was simply too much fun. She wished her sisters could be here with her so they could try these pretty little bottles of hilarity.
“Excuse me, Miss,” a young flight attendant smiled warmly while tapping her on the shoulder and liked the way her gown felt under her hand, “Do you require anything else?”
The witch queen looked up at her while sucking on a pretty cobalt blue bottle, “Three more, please.” She said while holding up four fingers.
The flight attendant nodded and quickly went to fetch her some more bottles.

“Look at her,” the youngest queen of the Lilim hissed, “Just look at her.”
“She does seem to be having fun,” the middle sister smiled with crooked yellow teeth, “And drinking herself into a frenzy I see.”
“She’s having too much fun if you ask me,” the youngest snarled and banged on the black the surface of the mirror with a withered hand, “Get on with it!”
“Do calm yourself, Sister,” the middle sister said while rubbing her temples with jeweled fingers, “You’ll bring another Flood if you keep that up.”
“What,” the youngest snapped like a flash of lava hot lightning, “Are you doing?”
“What does it look like,” the middle sister grinned, “I’m making myself a ball gown.”
“Why in the name of Enchantment are you doing that,” the youngest asked and sat down in a chair that materialized under her out of the dust in the air.
“Because,” the middle said while working her simple spell, “When we’re young again, we’re going to throw a big party.”
The youngest sister’s eyes lit up, “It has been far too long since last we danced, Sister.”
“I know,” the middle cackled, “So many young men to meet.”
The youngest giggled and her voice became the roar of a tidal wave when she spoke a great word of power. Suddenly the whole of their Great Hall was filled with the sound of music.

“A star,” Clark asked and he had to take a seat at the table, “You mean…”
Kyle laughed when Clark pointed his fingers toward and ceiling and he nodded his head.
Martha just stood there at the stove with wide yes, “Well, what made you…decide to fall, Kyle?”
“Silly really,” Kyle said taking a seat next to Clark, “This weird shaped ball came out of no where and smacked me in the head.”
Jonathan’s brow wrinkled as he walked over to the counter and picked up one of Clark’s many footballs. He kept them all over the house to make his parent’s feel guilty about not allowing him to play on the school team.
He held it up in Kyle’s direction, “Did it look something like this?”
Kyle’s mouth dropped open, “That’s exactly what it was.”
Both Martha and Jonathan looked right at their son who was at a loss for words. There was no telling how many footballs he had sent “accidentally” into orbit.
“Are you serious,” Clark asked looking at the glowing young man, “You’re really a star and not an alien?”
“You don’t look like a giant ball of gas,” Jonathan said.
Kyle smiled secretly, “I’m a special star.”
Clark cocked his head to the side, “I would think so, Cyrik.”
“What do you mean, special,” Martha asked, “Besides the obvious fact that you look human?”
“I’m a wishing star,” Kyle said and playfully pinched Clark’s arm.
Jonathan almost dropped the football, but made it look like he was tossing it to Clark. He caught it and passed it to Kyle.
Kyle held it in his hand and laughed, “Someone made a secret wish before “he” sent one of these things on a collision course with my head.”
“You could have moved out of the way,” Clark said in a not so apologetic voice.
“Let’s see you try and dodge something moving at you that quickly,” Kyle said with a pout, “Besides, my back was turned.”
“What was this wish, Clark,” Martha asked and Jonathan nodded.
Clark knew but he shrugged his shoulders, “I don’t remember.”
“Kyle,” Martha asked and Jonathan narrowed his eyes at Clark. His son was keeping secrets.
“I’m not allowed to reveal a wish that comes from deep within a person’s heart,” Kyle said and was glowing with an ivory light, “It’s the rules Mother Moon made a long time ago.”
Martha rolled her eyes and Jonathan bit his bottom lip. Their son was twiddling his fingers, and whistling the tune to, Save Me.
“Oh,” Clark quickly said when the bus horn honked from outside, “Would you look at the time? Bye Kyle! Bye ya’ll!”
“Wait just a minute, Clark,” Martha called out but Clark was gone in a quick whoosh.
Kyle snickered, “My goodness,” he said and looked up at the elder Kent’s with molten aqua blue orbs, “People come and go so quickly here.”

“Dance,” the youngest of the Lilim sang as she twirled around in her magic, “Dance, my pretty pretties.”
She had raccoons dancing with alligators. She had monkeys and panthers dancing the, One-Two-Step.
“Such fun this is,” the middle sister cackled with glee as she danced around in circles with a handsome man who had been a frog just moments ago.
“Well,” an amused voice came from the enchanted black mirror, “I see I’m being sorely missed.”
“You are, dear Sister,” the middle called as the frog prince gracefully spun her around in elegant circles, “We miss you terribly.”
“Indeed,” the youngest agreed and glared at a crockagator who was not dancing to the beat of her drum.
“I have just landed in the America’s,” the eldest smiled, “I am in a place called, New York.”
“The Big Apple,” the youngest asked in astonishment, “Let’s see Snow White take a bite out of that baby.”
The middle cackled, “She would definitely have a hard time swallowing that.”
“She’d chip a tooth,” the youngest howled with laughter.
The eldest chuckled, “I will be catching a flight for Kansas within the hour, dear Sisters.”
“Wonderful,” the middle said as the frog prince dipped her, “Bring Dorothy back to Oz.”
“But,” the youngest asked over the music, “How come he is not a lump of cold stardust in that world?”
“Simple,” the eldest smiled and hoped this new news would not upset them so, “He is a wishing star.”
The music came to a dead stop, and everything was suddenly back in its rightful place. Both sisters were suddenly standing in front of the mirror with large eyes filled with hidden desires and hopes.
“How come you did not tell us this before,” the youngest demanded.
“Indeed,’ the middle grumbled as she petted the frog in her ancient hand.
“Because,” the eldest smiled, “I wanted it to be a surprise, my Sisters.”
Both looked at her.
“When I cut out his heart, I shall make a wish,” she said and their eyes blackened with ancient power, “I shall wish us young and beautiful forever with all our power intact.”
“It is a wish straight from the heart,” the middle said, “It is the one thing we each want most.”
“Yes,’ the youngest smiled and held her older sister’s hand, “We three forever.”
“I will not fail you, my Beloveds,” their older sister said, “Now get you back to your fun.”
Music was playing all throughout their magnificent Hall as the Lilim Queen’s danced on air. Soon they would be young and all powerful forever more.
The reason why the star was not a lump of cold space rock was because of a certain green rock that infused all of Smallville with its magical energies. The star would remain alive as long as he did not leave the boundaries.
