Life Gone Wrong

They had been ‘pretend dating’ for two weeks and school was almost over. The semi-formal was coming up for the Degrassi kids as well as the end of the school year. Their friends got use to the idea of them being together but of course Alex didn’t like it. The bad part about the whole set up was the ‘pretend couple’ was starting to grow some feelings. Jay had his arm wrapped around Emma when Marco came walking over. “Hey Em!” Marco replied.

“Hey Marco,” Emma said smiling at him. “What’s up?” She asked leaning against the locker.

“I’m just wondering if you plan on attending the semi-formal,” Marco said softly hoping that she would attend and she sighed deeply.

“Probably not,” Emma replied in a low voice.

“Why not?” Jay asked softly. “I mean you don’t have anything planned Friday so let’s go to the dance,” he said causing her to look up at him in shock.

“You would go to the semi-formal,” Emma said looking up at him.

“Why not,” Jay said shrugging his shoulder. “How much for two tickets?” He asked pulling out his wallet from his back pocket.

“Twenty dollars,” Marco replied in a soft voice. They exchanged the tickets and the money then he went on his way. Emma smiled up at Jay a little and he handed her a ticket.

“How is this going to make her jealous again?” Emma asked in a low voice.

“It’s not,” Jay replied. “I just want to do it because I don’t want you to be at home by yourself with those creeps that your mom brings home and there is no other party this week so this would be the best idea,” he said in a low voice.

“Awe,” Emma said kissing him on the cheek. “Walk me to class,” she said extending her hand and he led her to the next class.

“I don’t get them at all,” Alex said with her arms crossed.

“They seem happy and remember you dumped him,” Amy said walking away from her friend and she headed to her class.

Jay went looking for Emma during lunch when she didn’t show up. He found her on the side of the school crying her eyes out. “Hey,” he said causing her to wipe away her tears quickly so she wouldn’t show her weakness.

“Hey,” Emma replied smiling up at him.

“Just try to play the ‘I’m not crying act with me’,” Jay said sitting next to her. “What’s the matter?” He asked causing her to sigh.
“I’m just getting really tired of this job,” Emma replied. “Yesterday was the worst I had two guys in the room with me and I had to give them both blow jobs,” she said softly.

Jay cringed at the thought of the girl he cared about giving other guys blow jobs. ‘I mean it’s not like he cared about her or anything, right?’ He thought to himself.

“I’m sorry,” Jay replied running his hand through her hair.

“I just feel so dirty all the time,” Emma began. “I sit in the shower for hours and hours but it won’t go away I’m such a tramp,” she said shaking her head.

“Hey!” Jay replied. “You are not a tramp okay,” he said firmly. “You are the bravest and most beautiful girl I have ever met,” he said cupping her face with his hands.

“Thanks,” Emma said with an actual smile on her face.

“Listen I got to go to a party tonight,” Jay began. “But how about I pick you up after your shift,” he said softly.

“I would like that,” Emma said in a low voice. “But we better get back in there and make your ex’s jealous or I’ll lose out on my money,” she said standing up.

“Uh…right,” Jay said following her into the school. The semi-formal was finally here for the Degrassi kids and Emma had already taken her brother to the babysitters.

“You look nice,” Spike said for once not drunk and she looked in shock.

“Thank you,” Emma said nodding her head. The door bell rang causing the blonde to get excited. “That is Jay!” She said walking over to the door and letting him in.

“You look great,” Jay said looking down at her.

“You do to,” Emma replied not picturing him in anything other then baggy pants. “Come on mom I’ll be home later,” she said before walking out the door.

“You ready?” Jay asked looking up at the school after they parked his car.

“Yep,” Emma said grabbing onto his hand and they went into the building. Her friends came running over to her with a smile on their faces.

“Hey Emma,” Jt said with a smile. “Jay,” he said glaring at him.

“Down Jt he’s my boyfriends,” Emma said sternly causing her friend to nod. “Come on let’s go dance,” she said dragging him to the dance floor.

They had been there for about three hours and Jay got up from the table. “I’ll be back babe I need to go to the bathroom,” Jay said walking away from them.

“Do you really like him Emma?” Chris asked walking over to her.

“Yes I do,” Emma said watching him sit at the table.

“As long as you’re happy,” Chris replied. “But if he hurts you I’ll have your back,” he said with a smile on his face and she smiled back at him.

“Thank you,” Emma said smiling at him. Manny had dragged her out of the dance floor to dance again before he boyfriend came back taking her away.

Jay came out of the bathroom to find Alex standing next to the door. “Hey,” Jay said looking down at her and she pressed her lips to his.

“Hey,” Alex said with a smile on her face. “Look Jay I’ve been stupid I broke up with Nick and I want you back,” she said running her hand down the front of his pants.

“Really?” Jay asked swallowing hard and she nodded her head biting her lip. “Then I guess all I have to say is this,” he said pulling her into a kiss.

“Jay!” Emma said looking at them in shock.

“Emma,” Jay said before she ran down the hall. “Wait!” He yelled chasing after her and he found her in a computer room. “It worked,” he said coming in smiling.

“Yeah,” Emma said wiping her tears turning to face him.

“Thanks,” Jay said softly. “I better get going,” he said causing her to nod. Something in him told him not to go but knew Alex was right for him wasn’t she.

“I’ll see you around and don’t forget our deal,” Emma said firmly. Jay nodded his head, kissed her on the cheek and then walked out of the room.

Emma felt a tear slide down her cheek because once again she had no one. The next day at school all her friends were shocked to find Jay back with Alex. They knew she must be hearing inside and the truth was that she was hurting.

“I’m sorry Em,” Manny replied in a low voice.

“It’s okay,” Emma replied. “Look I gotta go see ya tomorrow,” she said running out of the school and found the happy couple making out.

“Guess you couldn’t keep him satisfied,” Alex replied smirking at her.

“Guess not,” Emma said before walking away from them. Jay knew tonight she had to work and had this bad feeling about tonight.

That night she came into the club ready to make some cash and tried her best to forget about Jay. “Hey girl,” Lisa said with a smile on her face. “Your up,” she said softly.

“Thanks I think they’ll enjoy this one,” Emma said jumping up on stage. All the guys cheered for her and she slid up and down that pole.

Emma busy trying to forget about the guy she fell for didn’t realize that Alex’s latest ex’s boyfriend Nick was watching her the whole time. He placed his hands together and just smiled watching her mesmorizing dance. “Bye girls,” Emma said after counting her cash.

“Bye,” Mike replied watching her go out the door and then going back in. Emma walked around the side of the building and ran right into Nick.

“Hey baby,” Nick said with a smile.

“Hey,” Emma said feeling her heart pounding. “Look you didn’t see me,” she said trying to go past him but he pulled out a pocket knife.

“I don’t think you are in any position to make threats,” Nick replied. “Follow me,” he said grabbing onto her arm. “Oh scream I will kill you,” he said harshly.

“Please don’t hurt me,” Emma said with tears in her eyes.

“Get in the car,” Nick said opening the drive door and pushing her into the backseat. Nick got into the driver seat and kept the knife on her.

“Where are you taking me?” Emma asked in a shaky voice but he didn’t answer. They pulled into a deserted alley way and he got into the back seat. “No,” she said trying to push him away and he back handed her.

“Shut up and this will go smooth,” Nick said pushing her back against the seat. He placed his knife back into his pocket and ripped off her shirt.

“NO!!” Emma yelled knowing that she was about to be violated. Nick smiled at the fact that she didn’t have a bra on and began sucking on her breast. “Don’t,” she yelled trying to pushing him away and he grabbed some tape.

“Fine have it your way,” Nick said taping her hands behind her back. “Now I am going to make it hurt even worse then it would have been,” he said tapping her mouth.

“Mmmm,” Emma screamed through the tape with tears falling down her face. Nick pulled down her pants and then pulled down his.

“You ready bitch?” Nick asked forcing himself into her. “Oh baby,” he said moving in and out of her with such force.

Emma closed her eyes at tight as she could and just shut herself down emotionally. “Oh god baby is that how you like it oh yeah!!” Nick said slamming into her harder not carrying that he was making her bleed.

“Oh god!” Nick said placing her legs up in the air. “Yeah!” Nick said viciously as he felt himself shot his load into her. “That was so hot,” he said taking off the tape that covered her mouth and kissed her roughly.

“Please stop,” Emma replied only to be slapped again.

“Get down on your knees,” Nick replied. “I said get down on your knees!” He yelled pulling out his knife and placing it against her neck.

“Okay,” Emma said getting on her knees and he got in front of her.

“Suck it,” Nick said looking down at his erection. “NOW!!!” He yelled at her. Emma placed her mouth over his erections. “Oh!” Nick said running her hand along his face.

Emma felt him forcing her head down and began to choke a little. “Oh god baby!” Nick said forcing her head down faster and harder. “Yeah bitch,” he said shooting his load into her again and put back on his pants.

“Get out of the car,” Nick said pushing her out of the car and taking off the tape. Emma watched him speed off and reached for her cell phone.

Alex was on top of Jay that night making out with him ready to get it on. She was so glad to have him back in her life and would never let him go. “Oh baby I want you,” Alex said grinding against his groin.

“Um I think we should stop,” Jay said pushing her off and sitting up.

“Why?!” Alex asked sitting next to him.

“I just not into it okay,” Jay replied in a firm voice.

“You mean you’re not into me,” Alex began. “I can’t believe this it’s her isn’t it you really want to be with Greenpeace,” she said causing him to get quite.

Jay heard his cell phone start to ring and reached over to pick it up. “Hello,” Jay said into the phone and Alex gathered her things.

“Jay,” Emma said trying to cover herself. “I need you,” she replied.

“Emma,” Jay said jumping up. “What is it?” He asked.

“Go to hell Jay we are through,” Alex said walking out of the house. Jay waved his hand in dismissal and went back to Emma.

“I need you to get to the corner of Wilsher and 2nd,” Emma replied. “Please I need you so much,” she said with tears in her eyes.

“I’ll be right there,” Jay said grabbing his keys and getting into the car. Emma was sitting on the corner when his car stopped in front of her. “Emma,” he said walking to her.

“Hey!” Emma said trying to hide her face.

“Oh my god,” Jay said getting a good look at her face. “What happened?” He asked.

“It was Nick he was there at the club,” Emma began. “He waited for me outside, put me in his car and brought me here to rape me,” she said with tears.

“I’m going to kill the fucker,” Jay said standing up and kicking his car. “DAMIT!!” He yelled out before looking back down at her. “I am so sorry,” he said softly.

“It’s not your fault,” Emma said looking up at him.

“I promise you Emma he is never going to do this to you again,” Jay replied. “Maybe we should go to the hospital,” he said causing her to shake her head no.

“Just take me home so I can take a shower,” Emma replied. “I’ll go to the clinic later and have the test done,” she said firmly.

“Fine but I am taking you to my place,” Jay said helping her into a car. They drove back to Jay’s house and she went in to the shower for two hours.

Emma was sitting on the couch when he came over with a cup of coffee. “Here,” Jay said handing it to her and then sat down next to her.

“Thanks,” Emma replied. “I never thought anyone could be that evil,” she said looking down at herself. “But then I probably asked for it,” she said in a low voice.

“No you didn’t,” Jay replied. “Look I think we should stay home tomorrow,” he replied in a low voice. “You can call your mom so you can tell her baby Jack is staying with me and you once this blows over and those bruises fade you can go home,” he said softly.

“Okay,” Emma said resting her head on his shoulder. She ended up falling asleep in his arms and he smiled glad that she was back in his life.
