Chapter 5

I do not own Smallville.
Summary: Something bad is going down in the small town of Smallville and it’s all Lex’s fault. He has always been too curious for his own good. If only he had not tripped and fallen that day while snooping around the Kent farm when the elder Kent’s were out of town and Clark was at school.
Chapter 5
Clark was watching the clock like a hawk. He wanted nothing more than to get the hell out of here so he could go see Lex. School had been terrible today because Principal Kwan had literally become his shadow and that stupid necklace of Lana’s kept making him sicker than a dog. Chloe had even paid someone to tie his shoelaces together to make him fall flat on his face when the bell rang in Biology, and if that was not bad enough, he had to stop some chick from sucking the testosterone out of male students in order to get her fix. Chloe seemed to be the only one who found this power interesting.
Clark looked around to make sure he had his books, his shoelaces looked normal, and Pete and Chloe were no where in site. He was ready to me the hell out of there. The teacher kept droning on about why some species were born too stupid to survive and he could not have cared less. Some humans really did deserve to win the Darwin Award.
He was just about to hang his head against the desk when the bell rang. He was out of there before the teacher could turn around and dismiss the class. He ran down the hall and threw his books in his locker, then shot out through the front doors. Clark got a good ways from the school and then he super sped all the way to Lex’s.

The being that was now in possession of Lex’s body was smiling evilly as she held the spine of the pathetic little insect in her hand. The old man had screamed beautifully as she slowly ripped it from his flesh. Oh, he had begged her to spare his life. He said that he would give her anything she wanted. She had bent over and whispered sweetly that nothing would please her more than to tear his spine out through his chest.
She threw the string of bones to the ground and frolicked over to look at herself in the mirror, and was completely repulsed by what she saw. She looked absolutely hideous. This would simply not do, no, not at all. So, she grew hair.
Long green strands began to sprout from her head and flowed like water down her back and shoulders. She ran her fingers through the long silk strands and had it stop growing when the length reached her ankles. One’s hair must never touch the dirty ground. No, this male vessel was perfect.
She caught the door open from the mirror and in walked the one who had sealed her away and thus destroyed her world. Wrath filled her as she looked at the man who had said he loved and worshipped her, as well he should have.
“Excuse me Miss,” Clark said rather shyly to the woman with her back to him with hair that made him ask himself if it was Halloween already, “But have you seen Lex?”
The mirror shattered from her anger and she turned around as if time had slowed down just for her, “Why hello,” she said in a voice that resounded like a deadly tidal wave, “Jor-El.”
Clark took a step back in sick realization, “Lex?”
“It’s been such a long time,” She cooed.
“Lex,” Clark asked thinking this was some kind of trick, “What are you talking about?”
“Lex,” she asked, “Oh yes, the body in which we now reside in.”
“Lex,” Clark asked rather nervously, “What’s going on?”
Clark blinked and Lex was a nose length away from him, “Tell us something Jor-El,” she asked, “How is you survived the destruction of our planet? Are you the only one?”
Clark looked really confused and a little scared. How had Lex moved so fast? How did he know what his biological father’s name was? What the hell was up with the pretty green hair? Is it real? This had to be some kind of sick joke. Either that or he fell asleep in class and really wanted to wake up now.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about Lex,” he said stiffly.
A pale hand came out of no where and it connected with the side of his face sending him flying across the room to land on his back rolling through the shattering desk, “Don’t toy with us Jor-El,” she warned, “You sealed us away in hopes to gain our power!”
She was visibly shaking with rage. Back on Krypton the icy seas would boil under her wrathful gaze, “By sealing us away the planet fell unstable didn’t it,” she roared, “And then, IT BLEW UP!”
The room shook a little from the rage in her voice and that seemed to piss her off more. Clark was on his feet in an instant and noticed how this thing in Lex’s body looked take aback, “What is this,” she hissed, “Why do you not bleed?”
“I’m not Jor-El,” he yelled really wondering if this bitch was even listening to a word he was saying, “What did you do to Lex?”
She had had just about enough when she caught the scent of him, and her eyes narrowed just a bit, “The scent of Jor-El is all over you,” she whispered, “But you are not he.”
“No,” he said, “My Kryptonian name is Kal-El, Jor-El is my biological father.”
“We see,” she said in a voice that was as icy as the wastelands of Krypton, “Out of all the people on our planet he saved his only son so his line would live on.”
Clark was really starting to get pissed. This bitch was not answering his questions. He did not know if this thing was a man or woman because it was in Lex’s body and was doing really weird things with Lex’s voice. His thoughts went back to Monday when Lex had that cut over his eye, and then that green glow on the rag. He looked back at Lex, “My ship crashed down in the meteor shower.”
Her electric eyes seemed to sparkle, “Remnants of the planet?”
“Yes,” he said.
“Perfect,” she cried making the room rattle, “So, this is how we are able to do this.”
Clark decided to ask one more time to see if anything sunk into the ego, “Who are you?”
She spun around to gaze upon the offspring of the very man she loathed, ‘We are Kryptonia,” her voice echoed,” Kneel before your God.”

Jonathan stormed into the kitchen mad as hell, “Didn’t I tell that boy to come directly home after school?”
Martha rolled her eyes, “Calm down Jonathan,” she said while taking dinner off the stove, “I’m sure he’s saving the town from something just plain awful.”
“Don’t joke like that Martha,” he said taking a seat at the table, “Clark needs to learn that breaking rules has serious consequences.”
“I know dear,” she said, “He is probably just tied up with Pete and Chloe.”
Just then a knock came at the kitchen door and Chloe ran in, “Hi,” she smiled, “Is Clark here?”
Martha and Jonathan both looked at each other, “Get your keys,” she said while he said, “Get your coat.”
“Where we going,” she asked looking confused.
“Lex’s,” they both said in unison.

Clark blinked, “A God?”
Kryptonia smiled and floated over to him, “And more.”
For some reason Clark could not seem to think straight. Kryptonia put her hands on his chest and whispered a very seductive Lex like voice, “Come now Kal-El,” she cooed ever so softly, “Kneel before us.”
He shook his head. Lex was touching him in a very provocative way. God, Lex really looked hot with long green hair. Wait, since when did Lex have hair? Lex did not have hair, especially not green hair. Clark stumbled away from her embrace and she glared, “Do you defy us?”
“Let Lex go,” he said, “Or I’ll hurt you.”
Kryptonia laughed, and it was filled with promises of pain. Her laugh was like silver bells caught in the wind and as teeth gnashing as nails on a chalkboard, “Hurt us,” she hissed, “Don’t make us laugh.”
Clark super sped forward and punched her square in the face and she stumbled back a few steps, “I just did.”
Her eyes burned a poisonous green, “You dare to strike us?”
Clark rolled his eyes, “Enough with the ‘we’ and the ‘us’,” he said, “It’s confusing as hell.”
Kryptonia’s eyes flashed as she threw out her hand and green lightning shot from her fingertips which struck Clark square in the chest and sent him head over heels through a wall. She stalked over to watch him get to his feet without so much as a scratch on him, “This interests us.”
“What does,” he asked getting really pissed. His favorite shirt was now ruined.
“You do not bleed,” she said, “We are confused.”
“I’m different,” he said, “Now, let Lex go.”
Kryptonia was about to smite him when she felt herself weakening. She was too weak to fight him now and she knew it. Her power was greatly diminished since she was now forced to use a human as a vessel. She was going to have to find a way to fix this, and soon.
She threw back her head and laughed, “Oh how the mighty has fallen!”
Clark stepped back, “You’re insane.”
She glared at him, “You are so tiny Kal-El,” she said, “The frozen seas of Krypton would boil under my wrath. They very sky in which my creations beheld would bleed emerald fire to show our displeasure.”
“No wonder,” he said, “My father sealed you away.”
“Do not mock us Kal-El,” she hissed, “We may be in a mortal body but our power is still great.”
Clark sneered, “Well, if you’re so powerful, smite me.”
“I don’t want to smite you Kal-El,” she whispered feeling her control weaken more, “You are the last of my creation.”
“Then why are you in Lex’s body,” he asked.
Kryptonia was about to answer when all of a sudden she cried out and fell to the floor. Clark ran over to see the hair start to degenerate and the emerald eyes fade into cold icy blue ones once more.
Lex took a deep breath, “Clark?”
“Lex,” oh thank god he thought, “I’m here, its ok.”
“What happened?”
Clark looked over to see someone’s bloody spinal cord lying on the ground for the first time. He really did not want to think about who it might have belonged to, “Its ok Lex, you’re ok.”
All of a sudden the Kent’s and Chloe ran into the destroyed room to see nothing but scorch marks, smoke, a shattered desk, a big ass hole in the wall, and Clark holding a now unconscious Lex in his arms.
