Choices Consequences

Chapter Five
"Dr. Kirkansen are you okay?" John asked as he stopped next to where Alessandra had stopped
"Yeah just a little sore." she said as she felt a twing. It was from last nights activities with Ronon.
"Dr. Beckett said you were okay to gate off world." he sounded concerned and she knew he was by the way he looked at her.
"It has nothing to do with my injuries." she said softly" I over did some excersies." she caught Ronon's smirk at her last comment.
"Just as long as you're okay." John said as he went on ahead of her
"I blam you for this." she said as she showed him a mark on her neck
"Well you left marks on my shoulder and back." he said as he leaned closer to her" Just be glad that I didn't do worse."
A chill went down her spine as he went on ahead of her. She smiled to her self.
"Maybe I'd like that." she blurted out and he turned raising a brow at her. She just smiled sweetly and fell in step with Teyla who was ahead of him and didn't hear anything.
" Are you feeling well?" Teyla asked as she saw Alessandra beside her.
"Yes, I'm good thank you." she said as she looked at Teyla. She liked Teyla and could tell she was a good person who had been through alot. Just like Ronon. Only thing was that Ronon had it worse. She looked back at him and he smiled at her she returned the smile.
"He cares for you." Teyla said softly
"Excuse me?" she questioned caught off gaurd by Teyla's comment
"It's no secert that Ronon spends a lot of time with you." she informed her as she gave her a knowing smile" Your room is next to mine."
"Oh." she said as she smiled and the two giggled.
"At least he left before anyone woke up this morning." she said as she thought back to when her and John were fresh and new. Things were so passionate between them. Lately though it was a routine thing.
"Yeah." she said as she smiled at Teyla again.
The rest of the walk was in silence as the two tried not to laugh. It was nice to have another female to share things with.
"Are you two okay?" Lorne asked as he saw them walk up
"Yes, we are fine." Teyla answered as she regained her composure
"Yeah, just a girl thing." Alessandra said as she looked Lorne over. He was very cute, but Ronon was the one that held her body.
"If you don't stop thinking about last night I'm going to start to think you want more." Ronon whispered in her ear sending a sensation through her that hit her core.
"Stop." she said softly to him as she gently shoved him away.
"Never." he said as she stayed near her, but far enough that no one would ask questions.
"This is what's going to happen." John spoke up broking the moment between Ronon and Alessandra" Lorne, and McKay stay here so McKay can work on fixing the DHD. Teyla, Ronon, Alessandra and I will go see if can find anything." He said as they left
"Great." McKay said as he looked over at Lorne" We're alwasy together."
"Not by my choice." Lorn said as he turned his back to Rodney
"I saved her life." Rodney said" I almost lost the woman I love, but I didn't get not one thank you for my unselfishness."
"You should do something because you want to not to recieve recognition." Lorn said
Rodney shut his mouth for a while as he went to work
"Ronon, Lessa go that way" John instructed as they came upon two wraith.
Ronon took care of one of them while Teyla took the other one.
"Ronon!" Alessandra screamed
Ronon turned to see a wraith throw her to the ground. She fought it and managed to get out from underneath it, but it grabbed her again this time by the hair jerking her head back forcing her to her knees. Ronon went to her, but more wraith attacked and that kept him from her. Teyal and John were also fighting more. They seemed to be coming out of no where. A loud explosion sounded and suddenly the wraith were gone except for the who was feeding from Alessandra. Ronon ran over and snatched him off her before he could drain a lot from her. She fell to the ground struggling to get back up. Teyla came to her side and helped her up. She was gasping for air.
"He, just came out of no where." she said softly
"We know they all did." Teyla said as she looked around
"Then they disappeared." John said as he too searched for where the explosion came from
"Are you okay?" Ronon asked concerned as he grabbed her and pulled her to him tightly
"I'm fine just alittle light headed." she answered him enjoying the feel of his arms around her.
"Lets get back and let Dr. Beckett check you out to be sure." John said in his best protective brother tone
They went back to the jumper where Lorne and Rodney were at.
"We're ready to go." Rodney said as he caught sight of Alessandra" What happen?"
"Wraith everywhere." she said as she sat down across from Ronon
"We didn't see anything." Lorne said
"We were attacked by a lot of them then an explosion happened and they were gone." John explained
"We didn't hear an explosion either." Lorne said
"Maybe you guys were just to far away." Rodney said as they headed to the gate.
As the landed on Atlantis Ronon stayed behind so that he could walk out with Alessandra
"You really should see Dr. Beckett." he said as he walked with her
"I just need some sleep that's all." she insisted
"Dr. Kirkansen go see Beckett now." Col. Caldwell ordered
"Yes, sir." she said without argueing since she did not feel like it.
After seeing Beckett she went back to her own room and found Ronon sitting on her bed. He smiled at her ad she returned it. He got up with a cat like grace and closed the distance between them. She stepped back away from him intending to hold him at arms length. She really didn't feel up to round two with him.
"Ronon can we just not do this tonight." she said as she side stepped him
"I didn't come here to seduce you." he informed her as he raised a brow at her
"Really now." She raised her own brow at him
"I know you've been through a lot so I thought you'd like to have someone hold you." he said honestly
"That would be nice." she said as he walked up to her again
"Although if you want more I'm more than willing to take my time." he said as they laid down on the bed.
"I bet you are." she said as she stood up" I've got to change for bed.
"Why not just sleep naked I've seen it all before." he suggested as he gave a stunning grin
"Oh you're funny." she said as she took her work clothes off and headed for the shower
When she came out she wore a shirt and she snuggled into Ronon's arms. It was nice to know that they could actually sleep in the same bed and it not be all about sex. If she wasn't careful she could fall in love with him.
