Chapter Five.. my mako
Janet and Daniel had decided to keep Sephiroth's new addiction covered until they could clear the alien as safe to let out on base. It wasn’t that Daniel really minded spending most of his time awake. Between sating an addiction and translating symbols he really didn’t have much time for sleep... but what else was coffee invented for? It had done its job before and it was doing it well enough now. Rubbing tired eyes, he looked up from the sheet of paper in his hand, startled to see Janet.
"He's almost good for clearance... I'll hold off till you sort your side of it out. Also, he’s asking for Mako again," she finished a frown on her forehead. "I can tell him you’re asleep or off world if you like. You can get some sleep then."
Daniel shook his head, no matter how tired he was, he would never pass up the opportunity to be with Sephiroth. That man was just damn well addictive.
Pushing the door to the room open as he had for so many weeks now, he heard the same familiar voice.
"Mako," Sephiroth stated, standing and walking to Daniel, instantly catching him in a kiss. Sephiroth had become more coherent when he spoke seriously, but two things never changed, his addiction to Daniel, and calling Daniel Mako.
"You’re going to have to stop calling me that soon," breathed Daniel as he buried his head in the man’s neck.
"I know... but you’re still my Mako. You always will be," replied Sephiroth with a laugh, all seriousness flooding from him. Then the world changed into nothing but white hair, green eyes, and amusement as Daniel more than happily accepted the job of fulfilling Sephiroth’s addiction for the third time that day.
