Ch 5

Grissom woke up tired and sore. He rolled over to find a still sleeping Sara. He sat up and padded to the bathroom. He ran a warm bath hoping that it would soothe his sore and tired muscles. He let the warm liquid fill up around his aching body. Laying back and relaxing he realized that he was not alone anymore.

“What’s with the bath?” A sleepy voice asked.

“Seems that my young lover is relentless.”

“Is that so?”

“Yes actually it is. Seems she doesn’t tire as quickly as I do, being an old man and all.”

Sara crawled in the tub with him. “So do you think I could make you feel better?” She purred in his ear.

“Umm, perhaps..I…I could be persuaded.”

Sara soaped his back. “This feel good.”

“Umm, very good.”

“How about we get you out of here and I pamper you for a while. I’ll make you breakfast, give you a massage, how does that sound.”

“Delectable.”

Sara stood up and he followed. She passed him a towel and wrapped one around herself.

“Go lay down on the bed, I’ll be right with you.”

He did as she requested. He heard the microwave beep and footsteps coming down the hallway. Sara joined him in the bedroom still wrapped in a towel. She had a bottle in her hand.

“What’s that?” He inquired.

“Warm oil. I thought it would relieve your tired muscles better that way.”

“So thoughtful of you, sweetie.”

“I try.” She boasted as she slathered the oil on his legs and back. “Feel good baby?”

“Oh yes, very. My muscles are liking this.”

She finished the massage and turned to leave. “Rest, I’ll be back in a few with some breakfast.”

“Umm, ok.”

“Sara, it smells wonderful out there, are you making bacon?” He asked.

“Kinda” She purred back. “Sit tight. I’ll be in there in a minute.”

Sara showed up at the door with an apron, a tray and a smile.

“I think I could get used to this.” Grissom spoke.

“What’s that?” Sara taunted.

“This. You. All of it.” He admitted.

“Too bad we have to work tonight, egh.”

“Certainly is. We could call in?”

“I don’t think that would look good on us.”

“I guess you’re right. I’m hungry, what have you got to eat?”

“I have eggs, toast, coffee and facon.”

“Facon?”

“Yes, its vegetarian bacon. But it tastes like bacon.” She tried to assure him.

“I don’t know about this, Sara. I like my meat.”

“Try it.”

He put a piece in his mouth and chewed. “Hey, this ain’t half bad.”

“Told you it tasted like bacon.”

He smiled.
