Chapter Four
CHAPTER FOUR
As per her agreement with the God of War, the following day Donna planned a tutoring session with Crystal. On the way home from work, she had stopped by the local "Borders" bookstore and picked up a few tools she could use to aid her in teaching. She wondered just how difficult this task was going to be. She was sure that the blonde would show up with out fail, but that was because Ares 'ordered' her to. But would she really want to learn? You can't teach someone something that they are not interested in learning. As she finished up in the check out line, she inhaled deeply and blew her bangs out of her eyes. "I guess I'm in it for the long haul," she concluded.
She got in her car and glanced at her watch. 6:20 PM. She only had 10 minutes before Crystal was supposed to be at her house. She high-tailed it and took every short cut she knew to beat the traffic. She did not want Crystal to arrive before her. She still hadn't told Rachel anything about the recent events or about what happened in Greece with Ares and she didn't want Crystal to say anything to her about him. She parked, got out and headed up the stairs leading to the apartment building. Before she got to the door, she could hear the sound of a Harley getting louder.
She turned towards the street just in time to see Crystal pull up on a red and black 'Hog' with chrome trim. Her shoulder length wavy, blonde hair fluttered gently behind her under her black leather cap. She wore a tight, allck lck leather jumpsuit and knee high red boots with 3" spiked heels. The neckline was cut low and about a ¼" inch of Crystal's red lace bra poked out along the edge. It seemed to outline her large, round breasts. For the first time Donna noticed how perky they were for being so big and undoubtedly heavy.
"Tit job, I bet," she entertained to herself. But Donna couldn't help to admire the woman's striking look. She sure could draw the attention of anyone she saw. Half the neighborhood could attest to that right now. It didn't surprise Donna that she and Ares were attracted to each other. They both had that "commanding presence" to them. They would strut tall, with their chests pushed out a little, and usually had a sly or seductive look in their eye. They were so much alike in so many ways . . . Something clicked inside Donna's head. The words 'so much alike' echoed in her mind as she got an uneasy thought. What if that is really Ares just pretending to be Crystal? Donna couldn't be sure, but what she was sure about was that Ares wasn't going to leave her alone; even through they had an agreement. She was positive that he would try to trick her somehow, causing her to falter her end of the deal. "Okay, Ares, two can play your game," she mused. She was determined to uncover the truth now. There were too many coincidences that happened lately for him not to have a hand in it. Besides, how could a fragile thing like her have the strength to handle such a large, heavy motorcycle?
A light shined in Donna's eye and a wicked smile crossed her face. "This is WAR, Ares. You better be prepared for battle," she laughed to herself. Crystal waved enthusiastically at Donna from where she parked the bike. She headed up the stairs to join her. Donna waited, examining her closely as she approached, looking for something about her that could confirm her suspicions.
"Hi, Donna!" Crystal greeted her with a smile and a quick wink. "I guess we are going to be spending some time together for the next few months."
Donna turned to enter the building. She held the door open for Crystal.
"Yep, that's right, Crystal. I'm going to teach you all about the computer. Have you ever worked on a computer before?"
"No, sorry. I don't have any experience at all with them. I never needed to use them in my line of work."
"What kind of work is that?"
"Exotic dancing!" she said cheerfully.
I should have guessed, Donna thought to herself. "Well, you do know how to type, at least. Right?"
"Oh. . . Ah. . . Yeah, sure I can type. I'm not very good, though." She stumbled on her words, giving Donna the impression that she didn't know how to type at all.
"Well, that's a start, anyway," she smiled at her.
Three men were in the lobby waiting for the elevator and had already pushed the call button. The door opened just as Donna and Crystal approached. The men, being gentlemanly, allowed the ladies to enter first while one man held the door. Crystal was standing closest to the button panel. As one of the men entered, he said, "five, please," indicating to Crystal to push the coordinating floor button. Another spoke up and called for floor two. Donna rolled her eyes as she noticed the three men gawking at Crystal’s chest. Crystal pushed the floor buttons the men had asked for, including floor three – Donna's floor.
Donna didn't say anything about it. She figured Ares probably gave Crystal the address – maybe. When the elevator stopped at floor three, they exited, Crystal first, then Donna. Apartment #314 was at the end of the long hall directly in front of them, but there were also two very short halls on each side where the doors to apartments #301 & 302 and #319 & 320 were. Usually people, who had never been there before, would have at least looked down the two halls to check for the correct apartment number. Not Crystal! She seemed to know exactly where she was going. Donna just collected the bit of information she observed. She was becoming more convinced by the moment that she was right about Crystal being Ares in disguise.
They entered her apartment. Rachel was gone. Donna was glad she didn't have to explain Crystal to her right now, since she hadn't given much thought as to what she was going to tell her. Donna led Crystal to her room. She had already cleared off her desk the night before in preparation for the lesson.
"Go ahead and have a seat at the desk, Crystal. Do you want a soda or something?"
“No, I’m alright. Thanks.” Crystal looked over the PC and found the power button and turned it on.
"Okay, well I just want to change out of my work clothes and then we can get started."
Donna walked over to her closet, which was to the right of her desk, and unbuttoned her blouse. She let it fall gently off her shoulders to the floor. She reached behind her and unzipped her skirt, letting it fall as well. Crystal's eyes lit up in delight as she watched Donna strip the clothing from her body. She shifted in the chair. Donna caught her movements out of the corner of her eye and turned to look at her.
"You don't mind that I undress in front of you, do you? We're both girls!" Donna teased, laughing on the inside.
"Oh, Donna, you know I don't mind at all! Can I help you take off your bra?"
"No thanks, Crystal. We've got business to take care of. That's why you are here, right?"
"Yeah," she answered disappointedly, dropping her eyes to the floor.
Donna figured she would play it for all it was worth. She grabbed a pair of cut off shorts and a tightly knit fishnet tank top from the closet shelf, went into the bathroom and closed the door part way, to block Crystal's view. She removed her bra and underwear and put on the shorts and tank. You could just see through the holes in the fishnet of the tank if you were close enough and the shorts were cut so short that part of her round ass hung out. She looked at herself in the mirror and giggled quietly. She hadn't been in these cut off's for at least five years. Why she had kept them, she didn't know, but she was glad she did now.
"This might be a fun little game, after all," she told the image in the mirror. She reached for her most seductive smelling perfume and sprayed it between her breasts and on her wrists. She quickly fluffed her soft, curly hair and went back out to join Crystal, who was beginning to familiarize herself with the computer. Crystal had been so engulfed at the time, she didn't notice Donna re-enter the room. But as soon as the sexy smell of her perfume hit Crystal's nose, she looked up at her. Crystal's eyes widened in pleasant surprise, although she had tried not to look too excited.
"Well, that looks . . .. comfy," she commented.
"Oh, yeah. It is. So you look like you were doing pretty well for a beginner, Crystal. Why don't you show me what you figured out while I was changing? That way I can get an idea as to how much information to work with each day."
Crystal showed Donna what she had figured out in the past few minutes. For someone who didn't have any experience with a PC and supposedly danced for a living, she was sure catching on quickly. Then she remembered that Ares did say that he was going to enhance her learning abilities for this little arrangement. Perhaps he did. But Donna didn't doubt for one moment that the God of War was 'smarter than your average bear, and if she had been teaching him directly, she would expect nothing less than what Crystal was showing right now.
"You catch on quick, Crystal. We should be able to get you into some data entry and Internet surfing in a couple of weeks." Donna complimented.
"It's really not as hard as I thought. This mouse thing is really cool. No typing! I like that."
Donna grabbed a folding chair and set it up next to Crystal and took a seat. They worked side by side for the next hour or so. Donna took Crystal through the basic applications, making sure she would brush her braless chest against Crystal's arm or hand, or she would stand and lean in front of Crystal to point to something on the monitor – teasing her purposely and laughing on the inside the entire time. I wonder how long she, or he, will be able to hold out?
Soon enough, it was approaching eight o'clock. Donna stood and stretched a bit, pushing out her chest as she arched her back and yawned. Her breasts were right at Crystal's eye-level.
"Well, I guess we should call it a night. We can pick it up again tomorrow," she said, while her arms were still stretching in the air and her head was tilted back. Suddenly she felt hands cupping her tits.
"I'm all for ending the lesson, but do we have to call it a night yet?" Crystal asked, now gently massaging her luscious mounds. Donna looked at her. The blohad had a bright look in her eye and was moistening her lips as she stared at Donna's chest.
Donna grabbed each of her wrists and removed Crystal's hands from her body, setting them back at her sides.
"Crystal, I don't think that would be such a good idea. We should probably just stick to business. I don't know what Ares has told you, but it is very important to him that you learn the computer. I really only want to concentrate our energies on that. Okay?"
"But . . .but. ." Crystal began to protest.
"No, Crystal. I mean it!"
"But you look so . . . touchable!" she said with a smile, her eyes lustfully absorbing her form.
"Sorry, Crystal. Besides, I'm still not real happy about having to watch you and Ares act like rabbits in front of me. That wasn't a very nice thing to do. I know it wasn't your fault, but you were there as an active participant," Donna's eyes slightly narrowed as she spoke to the woman.
Crystal frowned. "I know, you're right. I can understand how you feel," she said regretfully. "When I was tied up, it drove me crazy to not be able to touch yy oo. . .U- -lysses" Crystal stumbled on her words, realizing that she almost gave herself away. "My captor." She looked away quickly, searching the room for something, anything to draw attention away from the subject.

"Oh, really?" Donna lifted her eyebrows up in a questioning way.
"Yeah, but let's not talk about such horrid experiences. Do you want to go to the bar and grab a drink with me?"
"No thanks. I'm too tired to go anywhere."
“Well then, I better let you get some sleep now. I’ll see you tomorrow. Same time?”
“Same time!” Donna confirmed.
**************
Crystal/Ares scooted out of there as quickly as he could. He was angry with himself for almost blowing it - and on the first day, even! He was going to have to watch what he said more carefully. Donna was much too sharp a girl and would have him pegged in no time. He already knew she was suspicious of him. He had read her thoughts briefly when he first arrived, catching the tail end of a thought of doubt. He meant to probe her some more later on, but got so involved with the lesson – he had completely forgotten to do so. He would just have to watch his step.
Donna would be furious if she found out the truth, not that it mattered much to Ares. It wasn't like he had to be in the same room with her to keep his eye on her, he could do that from anywhere. But he didn't want to give up the computer lessons. He liked them. And things were progressing nicely. He would be a wiz in no time, he figured.
As the weeks went by, Ares learned more and more. Soon enough, he would know almost as much as his teacher. He hadn't realized the potential of the PC and the Internet. He would constantly be amazed at one thing or another, and then embrace it and try to apply it to his own life some way.
By this time in the game, Donna knew that Ares was posing as Crystal, although she hadn't let on about it yet. She just did her little teaching thing, making sure that she wore something irresistible or extra revealing most of the time, stripping in front of him as she changed. She always got a kick out of Ares’ facial expressions, knowing she wouldn't let him touch her.
Payback's a bitch, huh, Ares! she would laugh to herself. She also made it a point to speak of Lucas often. She had been getting together with him on a regular basis now that Ares was keeping his distance. She could feel the tense body language her student gave off as she spoke of her man. It was like a well-kept jealous rage waiting to explode. It gave Donna much satisfaction to induce it, too. She could always tell when she succeeded in driving him insane with jealously. It was usually after an extremely "Lucas" absorbed conversation. Crystal would shift uncomfortably in the chair and would start to become anxious to get out of there, not wanting to hear any more of Donna's praise of another man. It was bad enough he had to keep watch over them, waiting for Donna to allow their petting to go too far - so he could swoop her out of his arms and into his own - forever.
Donna was also aware of how quickly he took to everything she was teaching. He could to do some damage with all this knowledge he had. It was only a matter of time before he would figure that out, she guessed. She wondered what kinds of wrongdoings he would be more prone to engage in. Hacking? Credit card forgery? On-line banking schemes? The list could be endless.
*************
Even though Donna was constantly aware of Ares, she managed to actually enjoy herself with Lucas. She trusted Lucas. And when she told him she really wasn't comfortable "fooling around" with him, he gracefully respected her wishes. Inside, the poor guy was disappointed, though. He desired her immensely, especially after that first evening they got together, when she had ended up a spaghetti mess. He wondered why she had a sudden change of heart. Perhaps he moved too quickly and spooked her. That was probably why she didn't see him for almost a week afterwards, he thought. He was grateful that she had decided to give him another chance. He promised himself that he wasn't going to blow it this time. He wanted her for life.
Unknowing to Lucas, Donna had to work hard at keeping her sexual desires for him under control. Whenever they were together, Lucas was always affectionate. Rubbing her back, kissing her cheek, holding hands. He loved to cuddle. It frustrated her to no end that she couldn't touch him the way she wanted to. She felt like a schoolgirl who could only date if she took her chaperone along.
*******************
Lucas and Donna had been seeing each other long enough now that Luke felt comfortable in giving her a key to his house. At first she didn't want to take it, but he insisted, convincing her she should have one in case of an emergency. She finally agreed and slid it on her key ring. She never had a need to use it; any time she spent at his house was always spent together with him.
On Lucas' birthday, Donna wanted to surprise him with a special birthday dinner. She had gone shopping and arrived at his house with a couple of bags of groceries in hand and let herself in. She thought Luke would be attending business at one of his restaurants, like usual. But Lucas had received a call from his parents that morning. They were flying in to see him that afternoon. He had cut his day short so he could pick them up from the airport. Lucas had been in the shower when Donna arrived. She heard the water running, but she thought his yard sprinklers, which were running at that time, caused the sound. They were both in shock when Lucas came around the corner in to the kitchen stark naked and dripping wet.
"OH! My God, Donna, I didn't know your were here! You scared me half to death," he exclaimed. He made no move to cover his nakedness, turning it into an opportunity to try and seduce her without directly intending to. Donna was frozen, her head tilted to the side and her eyes were wide in surprise. She was looking at him out of her corners of her eyes, dropping them downward quickly to admire his partially erect cock a couple of times. He had an ample stock, and it was perfect in shape. Lucas noticed her appreciation of him and stood straighter. She began to feel a desire and yearning for him that she knew she would have to extinguish quickly, for her own good.
"I . . I'mmm s..s..sorry, Lucas. I didn't think you were home and I was going to make you a surprise birthday dinner tonight," she said blushing as she finally turned away from him. He walked to her and put his hands on her shoulders. She could feel the warmth and wetness of his body now. He stood close behind her and kissed her cheek as he began to rub her shoulders.
"You were? How thoughtful! But you will have make enough for four, my parents are flying into town today. I have to pick them up at the airport in a few hours. But I still have some time to burn," he whispered the last sentence in her ear.
Donna closed her eyes and tilted her head back to lean against him. He began to kiss her neck and then she felt his hard cock press against her rear end. She moaned, and automatically her hands moved behind her. One hand found his hip, the other reached up around his head, caressing his wet hair. That only caused Lucas to grind harder against her. She had to get out of this situation before she allowed it to go too far; but it felt so damn good and she didn't want Lucas to think she didn't enjoy his affections for her.
She turned around, finding his soft lips and engaged him in a deep kiss. She put her arms around his neck. Just before her passion almost overtook her, she broke free and gazed lovingly into his beautiful blue eyes.
"Happy Birthday, Baby!"
Lucas had his arms around her waist now. He pulled her closer to him as he pushed his hips harder into her pelvis. His eyes shown the desire he had for her and he laid a lustful, wanting kiss on her. She melted into it. Her mind played visions of making love to him, touching him and him touching her. Then she suddenly heard Ares voice softly invade her mind. "Ah-ah-ah, Donna. Just a little further and you're mine!" She gasped and quickly pulled herself from Lucas. She heard Ares’ laugh fading as it left her mind. Tears began to form in her eyes.
"Donna? What's wrong?" Lucas reached his hand out to caress her cheek. She turned her head and looked down at the floor.
"I. . . I can't. I can't do this, Lucas. I'm so sorry!" The tears were rapidly rolling down her face now. She grabbed her purse from the counter and ran out the back door.
"Donna, wait!" Lucas tried to catch her arm, but she had moved too quickly and was already outside. He would have gone after her if he had more than just his birthday suit on. Knowing there was no way he would reach her before she drove off, he just watched her in confusion from the window. It was clear that she was extremely upset.
"You idiot!" Lucas cursed himself. "Now look what you've done! She'll probably never come back now."
He hung his head as a depressing feeling moved through his body. He went to his room and dressed, leaving for the airport when he was done. He was bummed that his actions had driven her away. He thought that she would probably never want to see him again. As he turned the corner for LAX, he saw a billboard for a diamond store in the area. A thought came to him and he diverted his route, stopping at a small jewelry store. He wasn't giving up that easy. And if she did give him another chance, he was going to do it right this time! He entered the store, coming out after an hour with an elegant engagement ring. A ring he planned on giving to Donna the next time he saw her. He could only hope that she would accept it.
*****************
Donna was balling heavily as she drove. She could barely see through her water filled eyes and wasn't paying attention to how fast she was going. It had rained a few hours earlier. Nothing to be too concerned about, but enough to make the asphalt slick from the water/oil mixture. She reached into her purse sitting in the passenger seat, looking for a tissue to wipe her eyes. As she brought it up to her face, she realized that she was right on a red light. She slammed the brake, but was going too fast to stop. And with the street being slick it caused the car to tailspin, uncontrollably. She heard another screech from a car approaching the intersection and it plowed into the driver's side door. The force of the impact sent Donna's car sliding into a streetlight and the now mangled and jagged metal that was once a car, was wrapped around it with Donna somewhere in the rubble.
She was unconscious and badly hurt. The ambulance and fire department showed up moments later. They quickly pulled her from the wreckage, concerned that the car might explode. The gas tank had been ruptured and there was fuel splattered everywhere, and on Donna. The rescue teams worked quickly and professionally, and once they had freed Donna's lifeless body, she was rushed off to the nearest hospital.
The hospital had still not been able to reach her father when she was rolled out of surgery and into the ICU recovery room. She had not awakened yet but had survived a life-threatening head injury. The doctors were unsure of the extent of the damage that may have happened. They had only saved her from dying, but would know more after she woke up - if she woke up at all.
************************
Unfortunately, Ares had not been watching Donna when she had the accident. He had been savoring in the glory of being able to cut Donna off from having fun with Lucas. Entertaining visions of her return to him, submissively obeying his orders – his desires. A smug smile was plastered on his handsome face. As he reached out with his mind to view her again, he stood abruptly and his face became flushed.
Ares had no idea what had happened to Donna. All he knew was that he was not able to find her mind any longer and it pissed him off. He thought she had finally figured out a way to block him out and now was off doing something behind his back that she wasn't supposed to be doing. He slammed his fist on the table. It broke from the force of the blow. That pissed him off even more.
"That little bitch! Just wait until I find her. She is gonna be one sorry little girl, I can guarantee that." He was pacing the living room floor in his apartment, clenching and unclenching his fists and straining his mind in an effort to try and find her.
"DAMMIT! WHERE ARE YOU?" He disappeared in a blue and white flash of light in search of her.
***************
Three days later, Donna opened her heavy-lidded eyes, moaning in pain. Her head was throbbing and the light in the room was too bright for her to see right away. After a moment of adjustment, she could make out the face of her father.
"Daddy?"
"Donna? Donna! You're awake! Nurse, nurse – she woke up!" she heard her father exclaim in excitement.
The nurse approached Donna's bed. She began to take her vital signs and asked Donna if she knew her name and where she was.
Donna knew her name and where she was but she was hazy on how she got there. The accident had happened so quickly, almost immediately knocking her out upon impact. It seemed like every part of her body hurt and she was hungry. The nurse left to inform the doctor of her progress and to arrange for some food.
Vern picked up his daughter's hand and stroked it gently. He had a relieved look on his face, but with a smile.
"You sure had me worried there, honey. I wasn't sure if you were coming back to me."
"Do you know how I got here? And what happened to me? It feels like I can barely move."
"Well don't move unless the doctor says it's okay. You wrapped your car around a light pole. It's totaled, Donna. Sorry. You banged your head up pretty good so they'll probably want to run you through a bunch of tests. To test your memory – you know, brain stuff."
"It was that bad?"
"You almost died, Donna!"
"Wow. It just doesn't seem real. How long have I been here?"
"Three days."
"Does Rachel know?"
"Rachel! Oh no! I never even thought to call her, I was so worried about you."
"Will you call her now for me, Daddy? She's probably worried sick."
"Of course, I'll be back in a minute." Vern left to make the call. The doctor arrived and asked her a series of questions, which Donna tried to answer the best she could. The doctor probed and poked her with various instruments. He gave her a shot for the pain and told Donna that she was a lucky girl since she appeared to still have all her marbles intact. But he was going to have her tested as soon as possible, to make sure there were not any hidden dangers. In the meantime, she needed to get plenty of rest. He would return to check on her tomorrow.
Vern was on his way back to the room as the doctor was leaving. They briefly talked in the hall and Donna's father smiled largely and thanked the doctor. He entered her room and announced that Rachel was coming right over.
The pain medication was beginning to work and Donna was fading in and out. Rachel arrived about 20 minutes later but was not allowed to visit Donna because she wasn't a family member. Donna could see her standing at the nurse's station. She waved at her and mouthed that she was okay. She made a motion to Rachel indicating she would call her as soon as possible. Shortly thereafter, Donna fell asleep for the night.
*******************
Vern had decided to head home to get some rest himself. Now that she had awakened, he felt relieved enough to be able to get some sleep. He had just pulled the garage door shut when a motorcycle pulled in the driveway. It was Mike.
Mike jumped off his bike, pulled off his helmet and approached Vern with a smile and an outstretched hand.
”Vern, ol' buddy! How the heck ya been?” Ares noticed that Vern wasn't looking his best. The poor old guy really looked tired.
"Mike," he shook his hand. "Not the best, son. Donna had a car wreck and has been in the hospital for the past three days. I just came from there."
"No shit? I'm so sorry. Is she going to be alright?" Ares’ shocked voice rang with concerned interest and his heart dropped to his stomach suddenly.
"Well, we won't know until some more tests are run, but she finally woke up today for the first time since the wreck. She seemed pretty coherent considering the head injury she has. They performed emergency surgery to save her life. She's damn lucky she's didn't end up a vegetable."
"What the hell happened?"
"She apparently ran a red light and wrapped her car around a light pole."
The two men began to walk towards Vern's door. Mike gently patted his back in a comforting gesture.
"Shit, man! Is there anything I can do for you, Vern?"
"No, I'll be all right. I just need to get some rest. It's been a long three days, you know." Vern unlocked the front door.
"Well, I'm very sorry to hear about Donna. I'll let you get some rest, now. What hospital is she at? I’d like to send her some flowers."
"She's at Valley Hospital on First Street. In the intensive care unit for now."
Ares extended his hand once again. "Please, send her my best for me and you take care of yourself as well."
"Thank you, Mike. You do the same." He turned and went into the house.
******************
Back at the apartment, Ares paced the floor. He was actually worried about Donna, noticing that he still felt his heart sitting in the pit of his gut. He got the phone book and looked up the address of the hospital, disappearing in a blue and white flash of light. He materialized outside of ICU ward, cloaked in invisibility. He searched the rooms until he finally came upon a sleeping Donna. He stood in shock, as he looked her over. She was badly beaten up, bruises and cuts all over her body. She had a big, bulky bandage wrapped around her head and her face was swollen.
Ares felt terrible ever since Vern had told him what had happened to Donna. He couldn't shake the feeling that he somehow had caused this to happen to her. He reached down and touched her hand. Focusing all his efforts on her, he healed her internal wounds. He would have healed all of her, but she would figure out that he did, so he left all the visible wounds to heal naturally. At least this way he knew she would be all right. He disappeared.
Later that night while Ares slept, his dreams spoke to him, revealing the circumstances of Donna's accident. Someone or something, with powers far greater than his own was sending him a message. He had almost caused her death and was warned about messing with her destiny. Unless he stopped playing this game of torture, it would eventually cause her die before her time and drastically change the outcome of his own destiny.
Ares shot straight up in the bed. He was soaked in sweat. Although the room was completely dark, he had briefly felt the presence of light escape just before he had opened his eyes. It was gone now, the thing that had come to warn him. What was it? An angel? Another God? He closed his eyes and silently thanked the being and took heed to it's warning. He would not overstep his bounds with Donna again. But he would still hold her to the deal; he just wouldn't fuck with her anymore. If she faltered - then it was meant to be. A deal is a deal.
