Lex Luthor had experienced many sensations in his short lifetime but he’s never, ever experienced the incredible searing pain that has gripped him at this moment. And it ll dll due the little blonde witch before him. He couldn’t believe what she did. She kneed him. She actually kneed him right in the balls.

She’s crazy! A lunatic!

“I’m so sorry Lex.” Chloe softly said. Lex collapsed onto the floor groaning in pain. He had a gentle hold of his family jewels. Chloe was trying to help up.

“What is the matter with you? Are you trying to kill me?” Lex asked in a weak voice.

“It was a reflex action. I’m really sorry.” Chloe said in very squeaky voice. Lex ears picked up an underlying tone in her voice. He managed to look up at her and saw that her eyes were alight with an emotion. Laughter. She’s laughing at me.

I will kill her!

“Does my pain amuse you?” Lex managed to finally get out. The pain was subsiding a bit.

“No.” She squeaked again turning her face away from him. Lex eyes narrowed as they took in her shaking shoulders. Dammit, she is laughing!

“This is not a laughing matter! I may not be able to have children.” He growled.

This time she couldn’t hold back. She collapsed next to Lex on the floor in a fit of hysterics. His face was clouded with anger. The little hellion! He slowly managed to pull himself up off the floor.

“Lex – Please…” Chloe couldn’t finish as her laughter overtook her again. She couldn’t believe she had kneed Lex Luthor right in the balls. Roxy and Sin would be so proud of her before they’d start in and call her an idiot.

Lex couldn’t believe the turn of events. Up until she kneed him he was in heaven! That is the word that ran through Lex’s mind when his lips slowly devoured Chloe’s. He felt as if he’d died and gone to heaven. He still remembered the heat created as r tor tongues collided with one another. He had to have more. He deepened the kiss to explore the recesses of her mouth. Her groan only served to inflame his senses. It was the most exhilarating kiss he has ever experienced. Then in a flash it all went away, only to be followed by the most excruciating pain.

“That’s it! I have had enough of you two! I am sending you both home to your father’s. I need to get away from you crazy women!” Lex growled as her laughter began to subside.

“Lex you have to understand…when you grabbed me I went into auto mode…I mean what the hell is that matter with you? You just don’t grab women like that…” Chloe finished chuckling.

“Correct me if I wrong, but I seem to recall for a brief moment that you responded to the kiss. Forgive me, if I took it as a sign that you welcomed my advances.” His voice was dangerously low.

“Uh…well…I…” Chloe was at a loss for words. He was right. had had responded. And boy was that one hell of a kiss. But then surprise and fear overtook her. What the hell was she supposed to do?

“Never mind! I don’t want to talk about it. I –“ He couldn’t finish. He needed to get away from the adorable blonde who was propped up on her elbows on the floor. Looking down at the angel before him, she looked anything but. Chloe looked more like she was hit by a Mack truck. Her jaw was swelling to three times its size, already it was turning a dark blackish-purple.

“Lex I’m really sorry. I—“ Chloe was cut off as Lex held up his hand to stop her flow of words. He turned around and stormed out of the room.

Oh my God. What in the world is the matter with me? The most sexiest man ever kisses me and I knee him. I kneed him…Chloe thought. She felt the rise of laughter once again swell within her. She collapsed again in a hysterical fit.

“God Damn! This town is fucking small.” A familiar voice exclaimed in a loud voice.

Chloe was sitting in the Beanery when she heard Roxy’s familiar voice. She looked up at her two friends. Sin, right behind Roxy, looked around in distaste.

This is what they call low key…Chloe thought. She smiled at the two ladies.

They looked totally out of place in the small café. Roxy was wearing short red strapless dress with black fish net stocking and matching red six inch heels. Her bleached blonde hair was left loose in wild disarray and her makeup was excessive as usual. Sin was dressed in much the same condition wearing a short black mini-skirt and a very, very low cut black tank top though her red hair was pulled back away from her face. She, too, was wearing black fish net stocking and matching black six-inch pumps. The two ladies of the night glared at the patrons as they walked by; though Roxy couldn’t resist blowing kisses to some of the more handsome male patrons she passed.

Chloe smile turned into a grin then grimaced in pain. Her jaw was still hurting.

“Fuck, Chlo! What he hhe hell happened to you?” Roxy asked as she sat across from Chloe. Sin, who had sat beside Chloe, tenderly moved Chloe’s face to take a better look at the bruises.

“Shit, Chlo. That’s one hell of a bruise.” Sin whistled.

“It’s nothing. I’m glad you guys made it. I was beginning to wonder…” Chloe said shaking her head.

“Nothing! I wouldn’t call that nothing. And don’t worry about us. Sin car may be the ugliest thing on four wheels but it’s dependable.” Roxy quipped winking at Sin. Sin just glared at her friend.

“So who’d you get in a scrap with. Don’t tell me it was Lex! I want details. Leave nothing out!” Roxy said warming to the subject.

“It’s nothing…really …” Chloe began but at Roxy’s scowl, she thought it best to speak. “I got into a fight with Lana. There are you happy.” Chloe sighed.

“Wait…You got into it with the princess. Fuck, Chlo! Please, please, please, tell me she looks worse than you. If she doesn’t I swear I will have to beat you for letting yourself get ass whipped by that prissy bitch!” Roxy begged. Chloe couldn’t help the grin that formed on her face.

“She’s worse. How does a black eye and a busted lip sound?” Chloe cooed.

“Hot damn! I taught you well.” Roxy cheered. Sin and Roxy gave each other high fives while Chloe just rolled her eyes.

“Where is she? Can I take a look?” Roxy pleaded looking around the Beanery like a madwoman.

“Wrong café. Can we please get to the matter at hand?” Chloe asked. Roxy disappointment was very evident on her face.

“Well, at least tell me why you two got into it. It was her bitching. That’s it! Finally got to you. Personally, I would have stuffed her down the nearest drain pipe a long time ago.” Roxy said matter-of-factly.

“Rox! I’m sure you don’t want to know that.” Chloe said.

“Fuck yeah!” Roxy replied with a grin.

“Okay…Fine…Lana tried to sneak into Lex’s room and you know…” Chloe’s voice trailed off as she was still not to to form the words. The thought of a practically naked Lex and that practically naked pink nightmare was enough to turn her stomach.

Roxy’s face was clouded with confusion for a split second before the true meaning of Chloe’s words hit her.

“What! That SLUTTY BITCH!” Roxy shouted at the top of her lungs. Everyone in the café turned their heads in their direction.

“I told you! Didn’t I warn you about that bitch? I knew she was a SLUT the minute I laid eyes on her!” Sin yelled.

“Could you two please keep your voices down? I live in this town, you know.” Chloe lowered her voice to a whisper.

“You want me to take care of her, Chlo. I’m so itching to get my hands on that prissy bitch. Say the word, Chlo. Just say the word and I’m SO there.” Roxy growled.

“It’s fine, Rox. I can deal with her. Can we please get to the subject at hand? Eden’s Gate…remember.” Chloe tried to change the subject quickly.

“Not so fast…What did Lex do?” Roxy asked curiously.

“Oh that…Lex threw her out!” Chloe couldn’t help the grin that formed on her face.

“No way!” Roxy and Sin said in unison. “Go Lex!” Roxy cheered. They hi-five each other again.

“Okay, now that that is over with, can we get on to the business at hand?”

“Fine…Well, from what I’m heard, the owner of Eden’s Gate is not being to shy about the new drugs. Word has it, that he’s having them created special.” Roxy voice suddenly hardened.

“Okay. So what’s the owner name? I’ll see if I can find something on him.” Chloe pulling out a pad of paper and a pen from her purse didn’t question Roxy sources. Roxy natural ability to filter out accurate information astonished Chloe every time. She gave up trying to find out how Roxy did it.

“Apollo Jones.” Roxy answered. Chloe looked up with a smirk on her face.

“You’re kidding right. Apollo?” Chloe asked.

“I know. He has something of a god complex. The name of Apollo’s new drug is…get this…Apollo’s Liquid Gold. Can you believe him? I mean come on…he really does thioo moo much of himself. And let me tell you he is not all that.” Roxy said in a snide voice.

“Liquid Gold, huh? Whatever!” Chloe shook her head.

“Any way, word has it, he’s going to have some of this drug at his club tonight but it’s very pricey.” Roxy voice suddenly slowed a bit.

“Do you think I can get my hands on it? I want to see if I can get it examined.” Chloe had been writing down some notes so she missed the looks Roxy and Sin were giving each other.

“Nope! I heard that Apollo’s a cheap bastard. And while he may want to fuck you, he definitely won’t hand the Gold over. At least not for free.” Sin said.

“Okay. So what are we going to do?” Chloe looked up this time.

“Well…I have this idea…you see Apollo may not sell it to you but he would definitely sell it to…” Roxy’s voice drifted off.

Chloe looked from Roxy to Sin when then didn’t go on. Realization suddenly alighted Chloe’s features as it dawned on her just where Roxy was going.

“NO!” Chloe shouted. Patrons nearby turned again to stare again.

“Chloe, it’s the only way. Apollo would kill at the opportunity to sell to Lex Luthor.” Sin purred.

“NO! I won’t do! I can’t.” Chloe said quickly.

“What do you mean by you can’t? What happened?” Roxy asked suspiciously.

“I have no idea what you’re talking about.” Chloe shrugged nonchalantly. Sin eyes narrowed.

“Chlo, what happened?” Roxy asked again.

“Damn! Well, while I fought the pink nightmare, Lex plucked me off her.” Chloe began. Roxy noticed Chloe was mangling it a napkin she had in her hand.

“And well he was furious and pretty much dragged me back to my room.” Chloe continued slowly as the events were replaying in her mind.

“And?” Sin asked.

“Well, we argued…And…” Chloe paused still not believing what she had done.

“Enough with the fucking drama! What?” Roxy growled impatiently.

“He kissed me.” Chloe said. Roxy was taken aback. She and Sin looked at each other in confusion.

“Is that all? God, Chlo, don’t do that. I thought you kneed him or something.” Roxy said in relief. Her relief was short lived at Chloe’s guilty look.

“What! You kneed him!” Roxy yelled.

“Are you crazy?” Sin shouted as well.

“Shhh! What did you not understand about keeping you voices down?” Chloe asked sinking down in her seat a bit.

“Have you lost your mind? What the hell made you do something stupid like that?” Roxy screeched.

“I couldn’t help. He grabbed me and my instinct kicked in. It just happened.” Chloe answered.

“This is all your fault!” Sin suddenly yelled at Roxy. Roxy glared right back but couldn’t disagree.

“Fuck! I did teach you to damn well.” Roxy said petulantly.

“Can’t we do this without Lex?” Chloe asked hopefully. The glares she received from her friends answered her question.

“Chlo…I hate to say this…But you have got to swallow your pride and ask this man for help!” Roxy said.

“No! He’ll probably strangle me on sight. For crying out loud, he sent Lana and me home in separate cars right after the incident. That’s how furious he was. He said something about needing to get away from crazy women.” Chloe’s voice shook at the last part.

Roxy looked quickly in her direction. She noticed Chloe’s eyes were twinkling. Roxy felt laughter well up inside her but she tried to remain firm.

“Chloe Sullivan. This is not a laughing matter. You kneed…the poor…guy…” Roxy gave up. She couldn’t control the laughter. Sin joined in the laughter.

“You do know you’re going to have to fix this. We do need his help.” Sin said once she had managed to control herself a bit.

“Yeah, Chlo. You’ve got to fix this.” Roxy grinned.

Chloe groaned. She knew Roxy and Sin were right. She was just not looking forward to this meeting with Lex.

Fuck! Fuck! Fuck!
