Memory
Clark followed the guy who raped Maddie for a week, but he still could not do any about it .
Maddie still had no memory of the event, and without a description of the guy from her Clark was out of luck .
Vesta new for power did come in handy.
The only thing Clark knew was this guy lead a humdrum life, and he was a memory erasing meteor freak.
Clark laid in bed. Chloe had her head on his chest taking her nails lightly running her finger tips across his chest.
One minute they were talking , and the next Maddie scream the most terrifying scream .
Chloe , and Clark ran into her room.
“ Maddie what is it?”
“ I remember who it was”.
He sat on the bed .
“ Who was it”?
“ Can you identify him”?
“ Yes”.
“ Clark we need to go ahead an take her to the police station the faster he is off the street the better”.
“ I agree Chloe”.
“ Maddie we’ll be ready in a few minutes”.
Clark saw Vesta out in the hall.
“ Daddy is Maddie okay?”
“ I heard her scream”.
“ Yes she is okay”.
“ She just remember who it was that raped her”.
“ Chloe , and I are taking her to the police station”.
“ Sweetheart just go back to bed “.
He picks her up.
“ Daddy can I go with you?”
“ No a police station is no place for a little girl”.
“ Maddie came out of the room .
“ Clark I’m ready”.
“ Chloe will be out in a few Maddie”.
Clark tucked Vesta back in her bed.
“ When they got to the police station”.
Maddie gave a description of the man ,and it matched Vesta’s perfectly.”
“ Mr. Kent the suspect is in our data base it seem he has been convicted of this crime before , but we’ve never been able to catch him, because his victims don’t remember him attracting them.
“ It’s a miracle Maddie remember him”.
“ Yes it I know sergeant”.
Chloe had her arm wrapped around his.
Maddie came out of a small room .
“ Miss as soon as we get the suspect in custody we’ll called you ,so you can come make an identification from a police lineup”.
“ It is mandatory”.
She looked at Clark , and Chloe.
“ I don’t know if I can”.
“ Maddie you are the only one who can get him off the street”.
“ He needs mental help”. “ Okay I will”.
