Alright Sam you have to do this for Catherine, you owe it to her. You may not like Gil Grissom and he may not like you but he helped Catherine clean her act up and make something of herself. Without him she may have become a strung out junkie.
Review, who do we know with a private jet? Think Sam.
Oh, I have got it.
I just hope that if I help them out that it doesn’t come back to bite me in the ass.
Sam picked up the phone. “Danny, can you get me a guest list for the Mayor’s dinner?”
“Sure thing boss, just give me a few minutes.”
“Alright, I will be in my office, bring it to me as soon as you get it.”
“Yes boss.”
I need to find someone high profile that has had dealings with Gil Grissom. There has got to be someone who he saved that will help me out, see if I can twist their hand.
Danny stood in the doorway with the list. “Here you go boss.”
“Thanks. That will be all.”
Danny turned and walked out.
Sam looked over the list.
Paul Allen Jr, wasn’t he involved in something a few years back with a kidnapping?
“Danny,” Sam barked into the phone. “Can you come in here again?”
“Sure boss.”
“I need all the information you can gather in Paul Allen Jr. I need it from the last few years.”
“Any reason in particular?”
“I am doing research, humour me.”
Danny left.
If my brain recalls properly, Gil Grissom was the one who cracked the case of the kidnapping of Paul Allen III.
I wonder if I can convince him to assist Gil Grissom.
Danny returned. “Boss, seems that a kid was kidnapped a few years ago. The boy was the only son, the heir to the Allen fortune. There is a quote here. ‘Gil Grissom, supervisor of the night shift has done it again. He followed his gut instinct and with the help of this entomologist’s friendly little critters he busted this case wide open and returned the eight-year-old boy to his parent’s waiting arms’.
“Great, sounds like I have found a solution.”
“Solution to what?”
“Nevermind. Did you confirm my invitation to the Mayor’s Dinner?”
“Yes boss. They are expecting you to be there.”
“Great, that’s all.” Danny turned to leave.
I should be able to convince Paul Allen Jr to aid Gil Grissom and that way I have no real connection to this. It will keep me out of this as well as make Catherine happy.
