Title: Set Across Galaxies.

Summary: River has a connection. A mental connection to three people in three different realities. Trance is a hyper-dimensional being called an Avatar. Alex is a half human/half vulcan who was raised to believe in expressing emotion and not holding anything in. And Anakin is a young man who could lose anything and everything with one decision.

NOTES: Alex's ears will look more like the elves from LoTR instead of like Spock's in the movie. When I first started writing this, I forgot the Star Wars X-Over. Anakin DOESN'T attack the temple, instead saves the children by getting Ione's help moving them to another reality, more specifically; Ione and Trance's reality. The woman seen with Ione in Ch. 1 is one of Trance's sisters, a fellow sun avatar. Chapter Three will have a surprise.

Chapter Three:
Anakin had stopped clean in his tracks when he felt Trance's frantic warning. He was almost trembling when she showed him the future of the action he was about to take and he knew in that instance that he couldn't do it. To decimate entire species on the whim of a madman? To kill an entire building of innocent children cause the madman wanted no future repercusions? No. He couldn't do it. He was shown that he would lose his children if he did that, Obi-Wan and the others left would split them up, the two never knowing the other existed until they were 18 or 19 years old. To be split like that from your twin, despite if one was Jedi material and the other not, it was unheard of in ANY culture.
He knew what he had to do. Save as many in the temple that he could. He looked to Cody, the clone trooper that had been with him since the beginning. A sort of understanding passed between them and Cody turned to the other troopers. Cody gave the orders for the others to prepare the temple escape pods and ships for the children. And for anyone else left over in the temple. A good sized group of them did. Another group was given the order to transfer as much of the Jedi's library 'to disk' to prepare for transport. The large tech group took off at a run, ignoring anyone in the temple they passed.
Anakin went with the rest to the nurseries, gathering younglings they happened to pass.
"Master Skywalker, what is happening?" A wookie youngling asked.
"The Sith Lord ordered the destruction of the Temple, little one," Anakin managed truthfully, "we must get out as many as we can."
The wookie youngling nodded in understanding, picking up the pace, along with several of the clone troopers. There were 20 nurseries on this floor alone, but in all truth, Anakin didn't know if they would be able to get them all.
"General Skywalker," Cody said over the comm, "what looks like a sort of transport ship has landed near the escape pods."
As Cody spoke, a teenage girl walked up to him, then held her hand out expectantly for the comm. Cody handed it to her.
"Ani."
Anakin stumbled. River.
"River...the twins..." Anakin's voice was almost trembling in worry.
Another transport ship landed, a familiar gold young woman coming running.
"Did you honestly think we'd let you do this on your own, Ani?" Trance laughed.
"Trance...my children..."
She nodded in understanding, "I'll go get them," she cocked her head, "Padme is in labor now...she says that she will let me take them...on the grounds that I take you and as many people I can...out of here."
Trance reappeared outside the 'delivery room', walking in quietly, ignoring Obi-Wan.
"You came..." Padme croaked.
Trance nodded, "Ani is worried to death."
"He's alright?" Padme's brows furrowed.
Trance chuckled, "As well as any new father can be. He, my crew, the clone troopers and some friends are evacuating the temple as we speak."
Obi-Wan listened to the exchange, shocked.
"You will..." Padme gasped in pain, "make sure they are safe?"
Trance nodded again, "They will grow up with such a big family. They will be loved and will love in return. Nobody will let them forget you," She kissed Padme's forehead, "I promise, little one."
Hours later, they had managed to get two floors worth of nurseries evacuated; three nurseries worth of children onto Beka's ship and four nurseries worth of children onto River's. They still had three more floors worth to go and no other idea how to. But certain people got the distinct feeling they were going to get some help.

Yes, I noticed that I left Simon and Kaylee out of this one, but it wasn't on purpose. That's just how it turned out when I typed it. Next chapter up in a more active one, with Ani and his clone troopers making the right decision. Couldn't find a pic of the command deck of the Andromeda, so I will have a pic of the Andromeda galaxy instead.
