Chapter Three : Unwanted Intimacy Revisited
Chloe was getting worried when suddenly her cellphone rang. She immediately picked it up after looking at the caller ID. "CLARK?! Where are you? What happened?" Clark grasped the phone close to his ear as he told Chloe the news. "Kara... she's been here. Chloe, she's different. Brainiac and someone else did something to her. Changed her. She'll freak out when she finds out that Jan is alive... she'll probably kill him again." There was no chance of a pause in their conversation. "CLARK! Don't say that, wait I'll come on over..." Chloe said and was about to move the phone from her ear and disconnect, but Clark's voice sounded through the speakers of the phone. "NO! You stay put, I don't want Kara to go into the hospital again. Chloe... she could hurt you!" Clark said, worry in his voice.
The door opened... Jan and Chloe instantly looked up... only to find Lois Lane there. "Chlo? What are you doing here?" Lois asked, only thinking one thing. **Chloe's already on the case? Great, there goes my story!** And then she looked at the body that was in the hospital bed... who was moving. "Okay, what the HELL happened here?" Lois demanded. "Is that Lois?" Clark called over the phone... it would complicate matters greatly if she was there. "What? Yes, she's here!" Chloe said to Clark. "Listen Chloe, go to the farm and get the Black Kryptonite from the lead box, can you do that for me? It will affect me the same way it has done Kara, so you need to bring it with you." Chloe was asked. "Yes Yes, don't worry, I'll be right there."
"WHAT?!" Jan and Lois spoke up at the exact same time. "YOU can't leave me here with..." Chloe sighed as she held a hand over the earpiece of her cellphone. "Jan Oramu, this is my cousin Lois Lane. Lois Lane, this is my childhood friend Jan Oramu. There, now you two know eachother." **Oh dear... ANOTHER cousin? I hope this one is more friendly than Clark's cousin...** "Uhm... hi there, previously dead body and reason for my visit." Lois deadpanned, spilling the truth in a matter of seconds.
Chloe departed at a running speed in a human way as she made her way to her Yaris. "Clark, you don't have Black Kryptonite, you only have a lead box with Green!" Chloe spoke up as she put her phone into the handsfree set and put on the speaker.
"I know, Chloe, and the only way to get Black Kryptonite is by heating the Green Kryptonite with..." Clark was cut off. "CLARK NO! Don't do it! It'll kill you!" Chloe said as she frantically drove toward the farm from the hospital. But Clark had hung up and had supersped toward the hiding place where the lead box with the Green Kryptonite was. He set it down on his desk, opened it and quickly stepped away to a good distance. As he was preparing to heat up the Kryptonite with his heatvision, he thought back to his lesson of trying to teach Kara how to use heatvision. **I'll get you back, Kara, I promise.** His soft heatvision touched the Kryptonite and it slowly began to change into black...
"Well, you have found me, what, did you need me for an interview?" Jan asked as he had seen Lois sit down next to him. "Actually... I did, for the Daily Planet, but I am not prepared to interview a previously resurrected person just yet, Jan. So, what the deal with you and Chloe, hmmm?" Lois asks. "Well, I was going to Smallville to see if I could get a job at the Daily Planet, since I had gotten fired from the Star City newspaper."
Lois arched her eyebrow when she heard Star City, because that was the place Oliver Queen aka Green Arrow came from. Yet she seriously doubted that a reporter from that place would know him personally, so she let the comment drop.
She was about to reply, when the door opened and Kara stepped through. "Well, Well, it's true what they say... miraculous recovery, Jan." Jan's eyes turned wide with fear.
"Kara, please don't..." Kara only laughed. "What's this? Does Lois Lane know this guy who is a sucker for picking up nude girls at Route 9 and stray dogs?" Kara asked laughing.
"Jan, what's wrong? This is Kara Kent, Smallville's cousin? She's not going to do anything to you!" Lois said, not understanding why this friend of Chloe was looking at Smallville's cousin so fearfully. "No, don't touch me! Not again!" Jan said, backing away, which was dumb because he now leaned against the hospital headboard. In a small burst of superspeed, Kara had grabbed Jan by his throat again.
"We're going for a little ride AGAIN." Kara said with an evil grin, while she felt Jan struggle in her grasp. She turned to Lois. "Kara, what's wrong with you? How did you...?" Lois was saying, but Kara cut her off. "If you follow me, I. WILL. KILL. YOU." Kara said and backed out of the room with Jan in her grasp. She could superspeed out of the hospital, or even fly out of the hospital, but a part of her didn't want to be detected doing something like that. Yet when she had checked the hallway to see if the coast was clear, which it was, she supersped out of the hospital and flew back to the Kent Farm, the Water Tower to be exact. Jan screamed in alarm, even when she got on top of him, which fueled his erection in the hospital gown. "Sshh... we don't want anyone to hear us... now do you?" She whispered as she licked his ear, her hand still muffling the screams from his mouth. A bit of tape lay next to her and in a flash she closed up his mouth, while her hand went south, under the hospital gown with an evil grin on her face, as she licked his exposed chest after partially ripping open the hospital gown... while tears streamed down Jan's eyes... which Kara happily lapped up with her tongue. **Why on Krypton's name did I kill him? It's more fun to keep him around... for my little twisted thoughts and desires...** Kara thought while doing all these things to the one who had previously died by her hand but had gotten resurrected by an unknown source.
Chloe had finally reached the Kent's in her Yaris and slammed the door shut. She ran toward Clark's old attic and found him there, looking at the created Black Kryptonite.
Just when she wanted to ask Clark what in Krypton's name had he been doing, did Chloe's cellphone ring. She glanced at the caller ID and saw it was her cousin. "Don't tell me you're driving eachother nuts with ghost stories or anything of the sort?" Chloe spoke into her phone. "Uhm... Chlo? Kara was here and she took Jan." Her cousin spoke into the phone. "So there goes my interview again."
"WHAT?!" Chloe yelled. "My god, Clark, Kara has Jan again!!!" Clark's face looked angry and shocked at the same time. "WHAT?! We've got to find her! NOW!" Clark said, grabbing Chloe's phone and ending the connection with Lois yelling "CHLO? CHLO? CHLOE ANNE SULLIVAN!?" into her phone and finally giving up.
