Nerves
XxSoul SisterxX
Chris smiled as he looked out his window, today is the day. Him and Wyatt are getting married in the garden in the backyard, which is full of flowers, green grass, a nice archway and it’s Chris’s favorite spot in the entire mansion since it’s a nice place to sit and think.
“Momma.” A tiny voice said and Chris turned and walked over to his son’s black playpen. He told Wyatt they should get one with more color but Wyatt said no and that it’s fine, he only uses it a couple times a week so it’s no big deal and Chris just didn’t feel like arguing oddly enough.
Chris picked him up and River clung to him, happy to be out of his playpen and up in the air.
“Hey Chris.” Robbie Davidson said as he walked into the room and Chris smiled at him.
“Hey Robbie.” Chris said to his longtime best friend. Robbie is the only person, other then himself and River, that he trusts around Chris. Also Robbie’s older brother, Ronnie, is Wyatt’s best friend and the four have always been friends. Well, Robbie, Ronnie and Wyatt were always friends until they met Chris then he was added to the group quickly.
“So, you nervous?” Robbie asked sitting on the king sized feather bed, that had soft silky black sheets. Chris walked over and sat down next to him as River climbed off his lap and crawled over the bed, giggling as he slid a little, until he reached the pillows then he climbed under one and laid still.
“Yea,” Chris said with a shaky breath. “I’m terrified.”
“Relax Chris, trust me. You don’t want to puke or trip at your wedding.”
“I hadn’t even thought about that!” Chris cried and Robbie winced.
“I’m probably not helping am I?” Robbie asked
“No.” Chris stated
“Sorry.” Robbie apologized as there was a knock on the door. “If it’s Wyatt go away!”
The door opened and Ronnie poked his head in.
“Wyatt’s flipping out.” He stated and Chris smiled.
“How do you mean?” Chris asked
“I mean he’s shaking a little and he just looks scared.”
“Oh, that was Chris a couple seconds ago.”
“Wedding nerves,” Ronnie said and he looked at Chris. “Have any ideas?”
Chris looked behind him and saw his son’s foot. He got off the bed and walked up to the pillows and removed them and River giggled and looked up at him a little before burying his face in the bed. Chris smiled and picked him up.
“Time to go to daddy.” Chris said handing his son to Ronnie, who nodded and quickly took River to Wyatt.
“It’s time.” Robbie said 30 minutes later and Chris bit his lip before taking a deep breath and he left the room, slowly walking through the halls looking at everything, the whole place was empty. You would think that no one would attend the wedding and you’d be wrong.
Wyatt had powerful demonic friends and of course the seer had to be there for some reason, among many others. Many of them Chris’s friends that he refused to stop talking to when Wyatt took over, that pissed Wyatt off but he left them alone.
Wyatt was nervously fidgeting and he ended up with his hands tangled together in front of him so he wouldn’t tap his fingers on his leg or anything else and ruin his own wedding. Then he heard the music playing and he focused on the door.
He actually couldn’t breathe when he saw Chris, he was beautiful. Absolutely breathtaking and Wyatt noticed he looked about as nervous as himself. Ronnie slapped his back lightly and Wyatt quickly inhaled, coming back into reality.
He glanced at his son who seemed perfectly content being held by Ronnie and his emerald eyes were glued to Chris as well before they flashed towards Wyatt and back at Chris and Wyatt practiced those 2 simple words that would change his life forever.
I do.
