Ch.4 Death

“ok, boys break it up I think we should, be heading out now” Cynthia says, “yea true I bet Kruger is so fumed” Jacks Says beginning to laugh but stops cause of the pain in his head, “Jack, you ok?” Sky asks like a concerned mother, “Yes mom” he says as him and Cynthia laughs, “so you guys need a ride if so were are ya’ll headed?” she asks, “SPD headquarters” they both say with a sigh “Oh my I’m headed there to I’m transferring from the SPD Branch on Mars, I’m supposed to replace the Blue Ranger”, she says both boys mouths drop, “so your replacing me...well my old color that is?” Sky says, “yah they said the Red one was promoted to Field commander, “uhh Cyn that would be me…I guess it runs in the family” Jack says, “wow, well I’m going to get my car I’ll wait for you two” Cynthia leaves “good she’s gone, hey sky I want to give you something” Jack says as Sky eye light up “what, what gimmie, gimmie” he says as Jack pulls out two dog tags, Sky eyes begin to beam, “I got you these dog tags, on has my name on it, the other has your name on it” Jacks says handing them to Sky, “what you think?”, I love them of course dummy, couldn’t you have told by my priceless expression?” Sky helps Jack up and they both leave

Z, you know it weird to think that Sky and Jack, basically hated each other, now…the can’t keep there hands off each other, Syd says in a wondrous way, “Is that rite, and anyways how would you know since we only seen them shoulder to shoulder”, Z says reading a book, “well its bound to happen, still it makes you think, you can’t deny that” Syd says, “your right for once” Z says nodding her head, Bridge rushes into there room “hey guys Sky and Jack are back, and as it looks something happened to Jack” Syd and Z look at each other and rushes past Bridge to central command. At the Base Jack Explains what happened “You see I have a tumor and it caused me to have a non lethal aneurism, and I collapsed and get the gash you see” , Jack says a he give a slight smile to Kruger. Jack and Sky Leaves, they both head to there rooms, as the enter both men crash on Jacks bed and are sound asleep soon after.

Jack wakes up and looks over to see Sky sleeping peacefully, he cautiously moves sky’s arm from around and making sure not to wake him, he heads over to the window and begins to look out, “It’s happening, I’m beginning to lose control”, He says with a sad tone, What’s happening baby? Sky Says sheepishly, Jack smiles, “nothing just talking to myself”, Oh ok…You Sure?, sky asks, “yes Very Sure” Jack Replies, As He Looks Out The Window his eyes glow reddish/orange as he blinks it disappears.

You take me to the Beach, and all I get is a towel, Syd asks, “Look I brought everyone miss princess” Jack says as Syd smiles and skips her way into the lake, as Sky comes and sits beside his boyfriend, “so that waterfall is beautiful isn’t it” Sky Asks, No response comes from Jack, “Jack…” He asks says but no response, he asks two more times, and still gets no response, he finally screams Jacks Name and Jack snaps out of it “Oh I’m sorry was just in deep thought” He gives a slight smile to Sky and lays back on the towel, “look at them we haven’t had this much fun before” Sky says looking at his other team mates play in the lake, “I know, kind of nice to see them enjoying themselves” Jack says with no emotion. “ Jack are you ok?” Sky Asks getting worried, “No Sky Tell Them to get out of the water now!” Jack says as he begins to get up, “why?” Sky asks, “No questions Just do it” Jack Says Demanding, Sky Gets Up and runs and tells the others to get out, before he could finish a huge wave comes shooting over the waterfall, As Sky Runs away from it he sees Jack Run toward it, He stops and turns “Jack What the hell are you doing?” He Yells, “Sky Get Them out of here now!” “Jack!”, “Now Sky”, Sky sees Jack Eyes glowing reddish orange and stares before continuing to get the others to safety, he looks back and sees Jack standing in the middle of the lake, holding the water keeping it from consuming, Sky and the other tourist, “Jack” Sky says under his breath, “Sky, I love You, Remember that” Sky hears “Z pulls him into the truck as they zoom away up the hill, as they get to the top, Jack Looks Back as the reddish Orange Aura surrounds him, he smiles and moves his hand away, the water consumes him, “JACK!” Sky screams as Bridge Grabs him, “Sky, I Know, I know” He Says comforting a heartbroken devastated Sky. Z and Syd are also Comforting each other, Bridge looks over the water is barely but a few feet away from them, the valley bellow and the lake has been filled by the water, the tourist and the SPD team surveys and takes in What has just happened , “He Can’t Be, He can’t be” Sky says as his voice cracks from the tears he’s holding back

2 weeks later

We have lost a valuable member to our team, Jack Landers, Was a leader, A brother, A friend, we must not let his memory go unthought-of of, Krueger Says, as he finishes Sky, leaves as he continues down the corridor he runs into Bridge who stops Sky, “Good I found you, look Sky I know how you feel but, You Can’t go back there” Bridge says” I can and I am, He’s Not Dead!”, Sky says moving past Bridge, “Sky you have to face the fact Jack is gone” Bridge continues, Sky just looks at him and walks off and out of the base, back at the lake, Sky puts Jack’s morpher by a tree, as he does a great earthquake starts, he looks out at the lake, a gush of water bursts from the center, the same reddish aura that surrounded jack before the water consumed him is seen Sky Eyes widens
