Writers Comment// Ok so I know it took awhile to get another chapter up and I apologize I was out of town so I tried to make it up to you all by making it longer, I have no idea how many people are reading this but I know of one for sure thanks so much for teh review >.<


--Chapter 3, Part 1-You don't listen very well--


He was really starting to grate on her nerves she was trying to help him, if she went there and heard something Savanah would beat it out of her and then they would all be in danger. Why did he have to be so damn aggressive about it and so what if she didn’t look fantastic she'd had the hell knocked out of her a couple times. She brushed her hair out of her face and went to say something when he covered her mouth with his hand and shook his head no, what was she two now? He was lucky he was cute

"Look, at least go there so someone can take a look at you, you got knocked around pretty badly ya know just make sure everything is how its supposed to be"

"It is not your job to worry about me, it’s to protect this damn place and you can’t do that make puppy eyes at me"

"You're cute when you're grumpy"

"I hate you"

"Nope now come on"

He didn't even wait for a response when he grabbed her hand and pulled her along with him; she shook her head and allowed him to pull her behind him when she noticed a dark red spot on his grey uniform. She planted her feet and jerked him back towards her

"Hey what gives?"

"Your back, come here"

She pulled him closer and turned him around before pulling his jacket off, looking at the back of it and noticing a hole and then tossing it to the ground

"Hey! I just had that cleaned"

"Turn around"

Again she twisted him so that his back was to her and this time she grabbed the hem of his shirt and pulled him up so she could see his back and she let out a gasp. There stuck in his back was what could only be described as a chunk of glass. She touched the skin next to it and heard him hiss in pain

"Ouch! What did you do?"

"There's glass in your back, how do you not notice something like that?"

"I was looking for you"

"How in the world did it happen?

"I guess when your sister kicked him back against the table before I morphed"

"Men"

She planted her hand against his back up before the glass and to her own annoyance noticed how warm and strong his back was shaking her head to get rid of the thoughts he grabbed the glass with her free hand and pulled back at the same time she pushed forward and pulled it out quickly. He yelped again before bitching like a baby

"That hurt"

"Don't pout its not cute"

"I am not pouting"

"Are so"

"..."

Veronica laughed before on an impulse she leaned forward and kissed him lightly on the mouth, she quickly jerked back and actually blushed before refusing to look at him as she spoke

"Shouldn't we be going?"

"Wha..Oh yeah come on"

He grabbed her Hand again and pulled her in the direction of the academy grinning like a fool

"What the fuck is she doing?"

"Like I have any idea what YOUR sister is doing"

"She kissed him"

"Don't remind me"

"She's supposed to be spying on him not trying to get into his pants"

"Well...maybe this is how she works"

"She's dead the next time I see her"

"No, No this could work in our favor remember my goal is to break them apart from within, if she likes him he could like her back. I can already see how the blue ranger would take that one. It would be chaos leave her be. Do not let her know we saw this I have planning to begin come along"

With that the pair hurried off while Veronica mentally kicked herself, what was she doing kissing him? He was the "enemy" right? When they reached the doors of the academy she titled her head back and looked over it, the place was huge. She had heard about it from here and there whispers of how it was actually a megazord given she could ask for herself but Bridge might be curious as to why and whatever their relationship was was fragile and odd enough without having that. She felt him pulling on her hand lightly and she looked over at him. He smiled softly before opening the door for her and Victoria flushed as she walked in. She turned her head to get a good look of the inside and went to say something when she heard a voice off to the side. She turned and groaned when none other then Sky the Blue Ranger was there looking pissed as hell, she caught sight of the pink ranger behind him but it didn’t exactly look like she was with him. When Sky made his way over towards them he stopped directly in front of her and raked his gaze over her. When the pink ranger made her way over rather then stopping next to Sky she moved beside Bridge. Veronica looked at her briefly and the woman smiled at her

"Hi, I’m Syd"

"Veronica"

"I would show you around but I have a feeling Cruger would want to see you first"

"Why is she here?"

Everyone looked back over to Sky and Veronica heard Syd mutter something under her breath, she rolled her eyes at him and looked back to Bridge since it had been his idea in the first place

"I'm taking her to see the big dog"

"Why"

"I don't explain myself to you"

"She should be in a cell not waltzing around like a guest"

Bridge didn't even bother to respond to that he instead took Veronica by the elbow and lead her towards where Cruger was, Both of them could hear the the comment that followed them as they waked but neither turned to pay attention. Bridge knew Sky was the type that didn't forgive or trust easily but even this was getting out of hand. What surprised him was when Syd ended up on the other side of Veronica as they walked

"Mind if I tag along?"

"No"

"Is he always like that?"

Veronica watched as a frown came across the woman's face before she quickly shook it off, and nodded, oh yay this would be a lot of fun

"Afraid so, he doesn’t like many people"

"Aside from himself"

"Bridge!"

"What, it’s true"

"Don't listen to him Veronica, he’s as stubborn as Sky"

"So I've started to notice"

Syd giggled and Veronica grinned over at Bridge as he huffed, the laughter died away as Cruger's door slid open and out he stepped, Veronica inched closer to Bridge and looked up at Cruger not sure what to expect

"Sir, this is Veronica"

"I know who she is"

"Oh..well I brought her in so that you could question here"

"I don’t need to"

"Huh?"

Was ushered by all three of them, and Cruger smiled at them and stepped aside as Kat came into few along with the Omega Ranger

"I knew you were bringing her in so we had a little meeting, she’s free to stay but she’s your responsibility Bridge, should she cause any trouble it will be on you am I clear?

"Yes Sir"

"You're dismissed then"

He nodded his head and Veronica smiled lightly before Bridge and Syd had dragged her off, she felt odd she had never just had someone trust her like that. Here she was the sister of their enemy and they just said she could stay it made her feel, well happy, While Bridge and Syd started the tour of the academy, as soon as the turned the corner Kat looked over at Cruger

"Are you sure this is a good idea"

"No, not really but we need some sort of plan when we no nothing of our problem"

"You could have asked her, I have a feeling she would have told"

"But that doesn’t prove whose side she’s on, everything should be fine Kat"

"Should be..."

Cruger just smiled at her before walking down the hall and leaving Kat where she stood looking confused


--Chapter 3, Part 2-Every couple has Issues of some kind--

Veronica stood next to Syd who was fast becoming a good friend and looked over the dorm room she was given, she would be staying alone but that was ok, it would give her time to think over things, they heard someone walking up behind them and turned to see Z there

"Hey Z"

"Syd, what are you two up to?"

"I was showing Veronica her bedroom"

"They're nothing fancy but they work, I’m Z"

She held out her hand and Veronica smiled before reaching out and shaking it

"And as she said I’m Veronica"

"Oh oh idea"

Veronica and Z turned to look at Syd who was grinning

"Shopping trip, I mean what better way to get to know each other right? And I mean it doesn’t look like you brought much stuff with you. A girl can never have enough clothing"

Syd flashed the other two a grinned and Veronica smiled while Z rolled her eyes

"Just let me change and I can meet you two out front ok?"

"Score"

Z laughed as she turned and hurried back towards the room she shared with Syd, and Veronica bit her lip

"What’s wrong Roni?"

"Roni?"

"Veronica is long, so I shortened it"

She winked at Veronica before looking serious

"Now spill it what’s bothering you"

"I don’t have money"

"You have to have some, I mean with that you did and all...Oops, I’m sorry I didn’t mean it like that"

"Its fine Syd and Savanah actually has it all always had I never really helped her until now, and we saw how that went, but I mean I can tag along I don’t mind not getting anything"

"Not get anything where?"

The girls turned to look behind them and saw Bridge and Boom standing there, It was clear they had come from the common room since Bridge had a snack in his hand but more of it seemed to be on his face then in his mouth, the man was just a big kid. Veronica reached out before realizing what she was doing and wiped crumbs from the corner of his mouth. Bridge grinned and Veronica flushed before pulling her hand back, she snuck a looked at Syd from the side of her eye and saw her friend fighting back a smile. She was losing her mind it was that simple

"Z and I our going to take her shopping"

"Oh, hey wait why wouldn’t you mind not getting anything?"

"She doesn’t have any money on her or personal items for that matter"

"Hey I have clothes there just all. With my sister"

"What’s the problem? Z had just walked back up and looked around the group with a tilt of her head, Veronica sighed and looked over at the woman

"We are discussing my lack of cash and this shopping trip"

"Well I can always lend you some money"

All three girls' attention snapped back over to Bridge who was suddenly blushing and very interested in his snack, Syd flashed him a smile and pinched his cheek lightly

"Aww that’s so sweet Bridge"

"Yeah"

"You don’t have to Bridge, don't worry I'll have fun tagging along"

"I know I don’t have to, haven’t we had this conversation before? Anyway I don't mind you can pay me back later"

"And how am I supposed to do that?"

"We can think of something later"

When no one said anything after that the comment just hung in the air, and Veronica flushed again for god knows what reason, she was getting fed up with the whole blushing every time he was around thing. Finally Z spoke up

"It’s settled then, now to shopping we go"

"Woohoo Shopping"

Bridge reached into his back pocket and pulled out his wallet and pulled out several bills before holding them out to Veronica, when she refused to take them he mock sighed and turned to Syd

"Can I trust you to hold onto this for her and not spend it on yourself, or am I just setting myself up?"

Z laughed before snatching the cash out of his hand and away from Syd who pouted, Veronica laughed and shook her head before hooking arms with Syd as they pulled her away from Bridge and towards the front of the academy. Veronica tried to fight the urge to look over her shoulder and lost the battle right before they turned the corner and watched as the smile on Bridge's face grew bigger. She shook her head and looked at her new friends, friends that was something she'd never really had before. She groaned when she watched as Z started to count the money that Bridge had lent her for the trip

"So how much did he give her?"

"I’m counting I’m counting, holy shit he gave her three hundred"

"He gave me HOW much"

"You heard me"

"Give me that Z"

With that Veronica snatched the money away from her and turned on her heel before storming back around the corner, three hundred dollars? Three hundred hell they hardly even knew each other. She didn't even knock on his room and walked right in, he paused mid bite and looked over at the door she could feel Syd and Z behind her

"Problem?"

"I'm giving this back, it's too much"

She held the cash out and he shook his head no before holding his hands back

"Nope, you need clothes"

"Not three hundred dollars worth"

"You have one outfit and it appears one pair of shoes"

"I can't pay this back"

"And I told you we would figure something out now go shop with the girls"

"..."

"Don't pout its not cute"

He winked at her and Veronica's eyes narrowed at him using her own joke against her, before she could figure out a comeback he had grabbed her by the hips spun her around and pushed her out the door.

"Have a fun time"

With that he closed his door and locked behind her

"Why that litte..."

"Oh come on, grab her Z we're getting out of here"

With that the two girls grabbed her and pulled her out of the building finally, they were almost off the property when Sky suddenly appeared in front of them along with Jack. Veronica heard Syd groan next to her and looked to Z who was suddenly smirking

"Where are you three going?"

"None of your business" Jack snickered as the normally calm Syd snapped back at Sky with force "Go read the rule book or something"

"Go easy on him Syd he's been grumpy for a while now, and me beating him in basketball didn't help"

"Blah blah blah, come on I want to shop"

"No surprise there"

Z, Veronica and Jack watched as Syd's eyes narrowed into slits and she clenched her hands at her side, she looked ready to hit him. Z leaned closer to Veronica and whispered to her

"This should be good"

"What’s going on?"

"Just watch"

Syd pushed her hair of her shoulder and pursed her lips before taking a step closer to Sky, he only titled his head and looked down at her

"Get the hell away from me Tate"

"Or what?"

"I will give you one more chance"

Sky smirked at her and stepped closer before leaning down so that they were face to face before speaking to her again

"You know Syd you pride yourself on being classy and looking 'cute' but if you keep hanging around trash and clearly not brushing your teeth your true colors are going to show"

"You son of a bitch" She suddenly grabbed him by the shoulder and drove her knee, hard, into his groin, Sky's eyes clenched closed and he dropped to his knees before Syd leaned down and put her lips next to his ear so only he could hear her

"If you ever talk to me like that again Sky Tate, I will kick your ass"

She smirked at him before standing back up and walking over to the other three. Jack was standing their with his mouth open while Z was fighting back laugher and Veronica just looked shell shocked. Syd was almost to them when she felt a hand around her arm yank her back and she found herself chest to chest with Sky. She slowly looked up at him and felt Z and Jack shift closer to help her if need be. Sky's grip on her arm tighten and he looked beyond pissed but if you asked Syd at that moment if she cared you would get a fuck no. Sky's other hand framed her chin and jerked her face to look at him

"Don't you ever do something like that again Syd do you hear me?"

"Don't threaten me you pig, and let me go. You're not special Tate, oh no I'm not the red ranger Jack is I'm going to cry about it my gods Sky your pathetic and predictable. We all know your not going to hurt me you couldn’t it would be against the rules and you live by those so do yourself a favor and let go of me before I hurt you again you.."

"STOP TALKING"

Syd flinched as he yelled more out of shock then fear he had never raised his voice to her before. She could now she Jack out of the side of her eye and Z on the other. This was getting out of hand really fast maybe she had lost control a bit, again she felt Sky's grip on her tighten only this time it was on her face

"Sky let her go"

"Stay the hell out of it Jack"

"You're going to hurt her"

"Hardly"

"You are kind of hurting my face Sky"

"Do not even take a pleasant tone with me right now Sydney Drew"

"I..I went a little overboard it’s no need to get grabby"

"You need to be taught a lesson Blondie"

"Excuse me"

"I think you heard me, maybe I should take that stupid stuffed animal away while you're gone"

"Don't you dare! You prick I swear if you so m..."

Syd trailed off with a squeak as Sky lifted her up and slanted his mouth across hers, her free arm flailed about a bit before falling to her side. She let out a moan when his tongue slid into her mouth and claimed it as her own. She had started to lean into him when she was suddenly jerked back to reality when Sky pushed away turned on his heel and stormed off inside with Jack trailing after him laughing. Veronica and Z hurried over to her and each took an arm before steering her towards a bench. Veronica looked back at the building to see the doors snapping closed and turned back to the pair

"Well that was different"

"He, kissed me"

"We saw Hun" Z had a major urge to just erupt into laughter before telling Syd it was about time but she had a feeling that was not the way to handle it and instead smiled softly at her roommate "Did you like it?"

"Did...Z Delgado are you out of your mind? Ugh Forget come on I want to shop" With that’s he stood to her feet grabbed them by their wrists and half drug them down the streets. Back inside the academy Sky was standing in his room looking out the window and watching her with a real smile. He shook his head and grabbed a clean t-shirt before heading towards the gym. About thirty minuets later the three girls where in the first store and looking around, Veronica planed to only by a couple things and give Bridge the rest back but that was starting to get harder and harder as Z and Syd kept putting more outfits in her arms

"I think I have enough Z"

"You wish missy, now get in their and try some of it on"

With a sigh Veronica headed into the first changing room and unlaced her top before letting it fall to the ground after that she pushed her skirt off and pulled on a pair of jeans that hugged her hips and a tank top she fixed her ponytail before peeking out of the room

"I don't come out till Syd starts talking"

"Talking about what?"

"Don't play dumb with us 'Blondie' what’s going on between you and blue boy"

"There is nothing between Sky and Me"

Didn't look that way to me"

"Stop talking and get out here"

Veronica stuck her tongue out before stepping out and doing a slow spin, she felt good but she still felt weird spending Bridges money, what if something came up and he needed it. She was brought out of her thoughts when she heard Z speak up

"How old are you Veronica?"

"Twenty two why?"

"Syd Bridge is like twenty-five right?"

"Mhmm that sounds about right, so they're close enough"

"Close enough for what...what are you two talking about"

"Don't you see it Roni? Bridge likes you" Veronica's eyes went wide and she looked over at the girls "Wait you really didn't know?"

"We hardly even know each other"

"And yet he went around looking for you, defended you to Sky, almost got into a fight with Sky over you, lent you three hundred bucks and said that you two could find a way to pay it back later"

"You don’t know that he meant it like that"

"Please Syd's right, he likes you and I think you like him to"

"You two are insane"

"Are we, Z you missed the cutest thing today" Syd giggled and ducked around a rack of clothes as Veronica reached for her, Veronica laughed and chased after her before finally giving up and turning to walk back into the changing room to change her outfit again "Oh and your buying what you just had on Roni, now where was I"

"You were going to humiliate me" Veronica mock sighed and pulled a black leather mini skirt on before pulling on a cute top and opening the door "SO you had better get on with it before I hurt you"

"Oh yes, Z when you ran back to get changed you know how Bridge and Boom were there"

"Yup"

"Well when they first got there Bridge had this little spot of food on his mouth like right here "She pointed to the corner of her mouth "And Veronica just reached forward and wiped it off all adorable like"

"Oh my god, you did?"

"I might have"

"What did he do Syd? Since I know she won’t give me a straight answer"

"He grinned like a fool, it was sooooo cute"

"It was not, besides if anything was cute it was the way you all but melted into Sky" Veronica quickly dodged back into changing room when Syd threw a shirt at her and peeked over the top of the door "You could barely stand after that kiss"

"And here I thought you two hated each other, he all but sucked your face off and you liked it" Z winked at her and snatched the shirt that was thrown at her out of the air before heading towards the other changing room "So you had better just admit it"

"I plead the fifth"

"That’s a yes"

"Bite me Roni"

"I'll pass that along to Sky, should he actually talk to me and not just sneer"

"He’s a grump" Z walked out of the changing room the same time as the other two did and the conversation soon trailed off the topic of the boys and over to clothes and hair and other things like that much to Veronica happiness. A few hours and about three hundred dollars later they trio was heading back to the Academy they were almost there when Syd stopped walking

"Idea"

"Your last one put me in debt three hundred dollars"

"You need to change"

"I need to what?"

"Your outfit put a new one on, oh oh the black dress that one"

"The little one right? Nice choice Syd, and she should put her hair down to"

"Z I think I’m starting to rub off on you"

"I am not a Barbie"

"No crying here now change" She handed the dress to her before smiling "Hurry"

Veronica mumbled to herself and headed into the bakery they were in front of and into the bathroom, she had just opened the stall door when she felt someone's hand grab hold of her ponytail and yank her back forcefully

"Little sister what do you think your doing? We did not send you down here to go on shopping trips"

"I'm making friends with them"

"Is that your job" She tugged hard on Veronica's hair again and Veronica fought back tears "Because I don’t think it is?"

"I..have to get them to trust me to get information"

"Smart answer, where the hell did you get money to shop"

"Bridge lent it to me"

"Bridge?"

"The green ranger"

"The retard?"

"He’s not retarded" Veronica twisted and pulled herself away from her sister and glared at her "Do not call him that do you hear me Savanah"

"I'd be careful Veronica before you get yourself in trouble, but you go run along and play with your new 'friends' just don’t get to attached to them because if you do when you fuck them over it will hurt you to and we know how gentle you are"

She sneered at her sister before shoving her into the stall, Veronica knew her sister was gone but she still waited a few seconds before pulling her skirt and corset off again and slowly pulling on the black dress. It hugged her hips and went just past her ass it was by no way slutty just a tad short, she walked out of the stall and looked into the mirror before reaching up and pulling her hair tie out, and her blonde hair fan'd out around her shoulders. She ran her fingers threw it before stepping out of the bathroom and then out of the shop and bit her lip when the girls turned to look at her

"Wow Roni you look great"

"Syd's right you look fantastic"

Before Veronica could turn coward and run back in and change they grabbed her and pulled her into the academy and towards the rooms. They had just turned the corner and were talking when Veronica slammed into a very familiar body, Bridge's arm wrapped around her waist and steadied her before slowly letting go and stepping back, the smile that had started to spread across his face froze before his mouth just sort of fell open at the site of her. She looked well hot and the dress wasn't leaving a lot to his imagination, he slowly raked his eyes over her and his gaze ended up settling on her chest, damn it looked good in that dress. He blinked confused when he watched a hand wave around in front of his face

"Stop that Z"

"Well you're about to drool"

Bridge wiped his mouth and moved his gaze from Veronica's chest to her face to find her flushed dark red, great now he had made her feel all odd but hell she looked good. He liked her hair down to it was beautiful he went to say something when someone else spoke up before he could

"Who go the hooker all dressed up?"

Bridge watched as Veronica's face closed down and he swore she looked ready to cry, looking over his shoulder he saw Sky standing there with that damn smirk on his face, usually Bridge was able to laugh his comments off but this was starting to get out of hand

"What did I say something wrong? Do you all still think that they just kicked her out and she landed at our doorstep by accident? Please and I mean it Hun you looked like a hooker"

Veronica let out what sounded like a cry to Bridge and he was knocked to the side as she nudged past him and hurried down the hall towards her room. Bridge turned and tried to grab her wrist before she sprinted off and his eyes went from her to Sky before back to her back and he moved to follow her only to feel Sky's hand on his chest stopping him

"Get out of my way"

"You're only setting yourself up"

"Sky get out of my way now" Not waiting for a reply Bridge shoved him back hard before moving to go down the hall again, only this time Sky grabbed him by the arm and jerked him around "What part of move are you not grasping"

"Listen Bridge she’s nothing...

"Finish that sentence and I will break your nose"

With a jerk of his arm Bridge turned and hurried down the hall towards Veronica's room, Sky turned to face Z and Syd and found himself the victim of to very angry stares, Z glared at him before stomping off into the other direction and his gaze moved to Syd

"You make me sick sometimes Sky; you have no right to tell people what to do just leave him alone"

"What no yelling this time? Scared I might kiss you again"

"Grow up"

With that she turned and followed after Z and Sky was left standing in the hallway alone and frowning, back at Veronica's room she had just jerked on a baggy sweatshirt that had been in one of the dressers and then yanked on the sweat pants that went with it, the plan had been to toss herself onto the bed but someone knocking at her door brought a hault to that, she looked at the door for a moment before speaking softly

"Who is it?"

"It's me, can I come in?"

"No"

"Good" With that her door slid open and he walked in looking a little out of place and closed the door behind him, he looked at her for a moment before moving forward and using his gloved thumb to wipe one of her tears away "Don't cry because of Sky, he's not worth it"

Veronica leaned into his hand and tried to smile, when she couldn't Bridge slowly pulled her into a hug and just held her close

"Bridge"

"Shh just relax" He lead her towards the bed and laid her down on it before sliding in next to her and pulling her back against him so that she was curled up against him her back to his chest, his arm draped over her waist and he kissed her hair "No more crying"

"O..ok" She sniffled and leaned back into him, she wasn't used to this kind of thing, he was holding her to comfort her and she liked it so it seemed that the girls had been right she did like him, but it wasn't fair to him to even think of starting a relationship she had a job to do as much as she didn't want to, she shivered when she felt his thumb glide over her stomach lightly at a spot where the sweater had ridden up "Question"

"Hmm?"

"Why do you always wear the gloves?"

"I can see things like energy left behind if I have them off this just keeps it under control"

"You ever take them off besides when looking for things"

"Every now and then, why?"

"Just curious" She wiggled around so that she was face to face with him and smiled at him, He smiled back and leaned his head down to kiss her. Veronica sucked in her breath and closed her eyes before leaning forward and pressing her mouth to his. She was loosing her mind hadn't she just moments ago been thinking how wrong this would be? She heard herself moan and felt his hand slide under her shirt and start to move higher and then her mind went blank. Slowly she wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him closer to her before opening her mouth to him
