Tony DiMera sipped at his glass casually, he was happier than he had been in a long time. His children were sunning them selves on their towels, an looking quite pleased. Rex became even more so, as Mimi slipped in next to him an kissed his forehead. Tony didn't know why Mimi made Rex happy, but he was happy she did.


Tony smiled he knew he had been right to take the twins. They were his children, he'd be dead before he let anyone take them form him. They made him happy, he had never been so happy as the night that test had comeback.


Telling him that he was a father, after so many years of wanting children. And the disappointing heart break of losing both unborn children and women who he had loved. Tony had finally become a father that night, an no one was taking that from him.


Tony had more than enough heart break when it came to women. Rex however seemed to have found the right one, at an early age. Tony smiled Mimi loved Rex in the same I'd die for you way Rex loved Mimi. The two of them were just perfect together, they didn't need words most of the time. It was comforting to know that his son wouldn't have to deal with the heart break he had.


Tony's only concern was Cassie, he knew she was happy, no longer having nightmares. He wished he could find a nice suitable boy for her. While he wasn't big on the idea of his little girl being around a boy. He did know that like his son, his daughter needed someone who wouldn’t stab her in the back. Someone who would love her as she was an would not stab her in the back.


Tony felt his mind wonder to potential boys who mite be good enough. He wasn't sure who if anyone would be trust worthy of his daughters love. This was going to be a rather long drawn out process. Tony was brooding over this when Cassie came up an snuggled into him.


Tony rapped his arms around her an hugged her tight. For now anyway all his daughter needed was him, and that was what she was going to get. Tony was never going to let anyone take Cassie or Rex form him. No one, Roman, Abe, Shawn Sr, Stefano, and the rest of them could all go to hell. The twins needed him, and Tony needed them. They were a family and no one was going to tell them other wise.
