What's Your Secret?
Hi again! Sorry it took me so long to get this chapter out (and sorry it's so short, longer ones are coming soon). Thanks again to all my reviewers, you guys are great! Anyways, I've had exams this week and it's hard to find time for writing... hope ya'll will forgive me!

As they drove, Chelsie kept her eyes on the buildings they were passing. Conrad watched the road, occasionally glancing towards his companion. Her hair hid her face from view, frustrating him to no ends. Without warning, he swerved into an empty parking lot and slammed on the brakes. Chelsie jumped and clutched at the door handle, clenching her teeth and whipping her head towards him.
"What's your problem?!" Her eyes narrowed as Ecklie sat in his seat, completely ignoring her question.
"Did you hear me? You scared me to death!" Agitation seeped into her tone as she glared at him. But as she gazed at him sitting stubbornly in his seat, her eyes softened and she sighed. "Fine, I'm sorry... look, about earlier? Can we just forget I even said anything?" Lowering her head, Chelsie let her hair hide her face again.
Ecklie turned towards her in his seat, watching her as she sat unhappily. "Chels, I don't want to forget what you said earlier. I'm glad to know that you care about me..." He reached out, moving her hair from her face and tucking behind her ear. She looked up at him.
"I get the feeling that you have something else you want to say, boss..." A small hint of humor laced Chelsie's tone. Conrad smiled and sat back in his seat.
"I suppose you're right, but I don't think I'm gonna tell you." He smirked as her mouth fell open.
Grinning, she swatted playfully at his shoulder. "That's so not fair! I told you my secret, now you should tell me yours! Quid pro quo, Mr. Ecklie." Laughing happily at him, she sat back in her seat and made herself comfortable. He smiled at her, and backed out of the parking lot.
"I'll think about it... After all, it is a secret..."
