Chapter 4~Making Trouble
Eva looked in the mirror, she loved the way she looked. Today she was going for a wild look, she had on a red and black plaided skirt, that almost showed her ass, but she had on black lacy panties, with a black midriff tank top that gave her great cleavage and a leather jacket. Eva looked at her left hand on her ring finger at the ring. "This is for you." she kissed the ring.
At the Recovery Room, Eva walked in looking around and saw who she was searching for. "Hi, Jack." she sat at the table he was at. "Eva, hi..." he looked at hs soda. "Something wrong?" she asked. Eva took off her leather jacket and Jack happened to look. "You look different." he sat up straight. "I thought I'd try a new look...It's too bold for me, uh?" she was playing innocent now. "No...It looks great on you...Kinda wild and gothic rolled into one." he smiled. "Do you wanna talk about it." she offered. "I shouldn't...It's nothing really." he said. "Come on, Jack...You and Livvie haven't really been alone...She hasn't wanted to talk about it...I know something is up...She has only told me you're doing good." Eva was slightly pushing it. "Y'know, your right...I should talk about this...Wanna take a walk?" he got up. "I'd love too." smiled Eva and she grabbed her coat.
They walked on a bridge..."So, tell me Jack...What's wrong?" she faced him. "Has anyone told you what happened here?" he looked at the water. "No...They seem to keep that from me." she looked out at the water. "There was a vampire, named Caleb Morley...Livvie killed him, but before that he made her do things...1 of those things was that she tried to poison me. She lied to al of us...Especially me." he started. Eva had her hands folded, the ring was in plain sight and Jack never saw it as he talked. "Jack...Maybe you 2 need time apart...I've heard you've been together for awhile...I kinda was in the same situation...I mean I didn't deal with a vampire, but yes, I split from the guy I was seeing, so, I could move here. Some place new...Some place exciting...Maybe meet someone new." she smiled at Jack. "I should be kinda like you...You seem to not let anything bother you...How is that?" he asked. She gave a little laugh.
"I had a bad life...My mom died and my dad paid no attention to me..Well, besides the beatings he'd give me for nothing." she told him. "So, I just learned to not really care what people think...Till I met my boyfriend, but we got into it too soon and we just split." Eva noticed Jack got closer. She wasn't going fight with anything...SInce her boyfriend was dead, she was going to make Livive's life hell and that would mean leading Jack on. Jack leaned closer and kissed her. He pulled away. "I'm sorry." he said. "It's fine, Jack." they both leaned in and started kissing again.
