The Premonition. Part one.

Part Four.

Piper and Paige were having no luck with the book and decided to take a break and Paige was about to go downstairs when Piper asked her to stay and talk for a bit.

"Piper, I just don't want to get into this right now. It's way to hard right now."

"Okay. Let's talk about something else then." Piper agreed and then tried to think of something neutral they could talk about but was drawing a complete blank since the only think on her mind about now was the blackmailer and just what Phoebe and Paige had been doing lately.

"I know you want to talk about Phoebe and I, but I am just all talked out on that right now. I'm sorry. It's exhausting trying to explain this over and over again. Especially when neither Phoebe nor I have much of a clue about what's going on either. It's all new to us and we just don't have the answers you want. And I'm not sure there are any answers you will accept about this anyway. Is there?"

"I don't know. Maybe your right. I just can't believe you couldn't have found other people to fall in love with. I mean another boy or another girl. Someone else. Why Phoebe? Why? It's just so hard to understand."

"Come on Piper you know you don't plan who you fall in love with. It happens. And when it does you cherish it for as long as it lasts. Hopefully forever if your one of the lucky ones. You don't question why. I know this is somewhat unconventional..." Piper gave her a very questioning look, "Okay, alot unconventional then. I know you are tired of hearing this but I love Phoebe. It's not just a crush. Or a passing attraction. It's real. Why this happened I have no idea. I knew we were close from the moment we met. Sure we had some rough times during the whole Cole situation but we always had this connection. They way she looked at me was enough to make my whole day at times. The way we had so much fun together doing almost anything. From the time we spent hours putting nail polish on our toes so that it would match our dresses to the times we spent arguing about which show was better Seinfeld or Friends to the times she spent crying on my shoulder after one of her many fights with Cole, we just grew closer and closer."

"Okay, I understand all that. I am close to Phoebe to. And you as well. But, I didn't end up in bed with either of you and that's where you lose me." Piper said shaking her head in frustration.

"I'm not sure I can explain that either. Again, there probably was some physical attraction between us. Phoebe is a beautiful woman, even you can see that. She's sexy and sweet and caring and she's just easy to be around. We've only known each other for a year and a half, so we don't have that history together that you do with her."

"Then how about the fact she's a girl. Your a girl. Don't you think that might have come up once or twice in your past?"

"Well it has. At least for me and also for Phoebe. I'm not sure why it matters, but I actually did see a girl in college for over a year and the reason we didn't last had nothing to do with us both being girls. That was not a factor. There were other things that got in the way. But the point is I have never closed myself off to any possible situation. Neither has Phoebe."

"I had no idea about Phoebe. She sure didn't mention it but I suppose there was no need to. Still, I hate to keep being the one who is seen as the bad guy, but your still sisters. Half sisters. It's still not what you'd call acceptable in this neck of the woods."

"So what. Neither are witches in most places. And yet here we are. Phoebe was about to marry the most evil being alive and you were ready to embrace Cole into the family? Why? use use he was a guy. That's so unfair. If Cole was girl you would never have even considered letting Phoebe be with her. But it's like you overlooked the fact he was the most notorious demon alive just because Phoebe liked him? Hello? Tell me that's logical or sane or smart?"

"Okay, you make a good point. I was really not supporting Cole as much as I was supporting Phoebe's right to be happy."

"Exactly, even if it meant marrying a demon we all knew could turn on us at any minute. So why can't you embrace Phoebe being happy with me?"

"It's not the girl thing okay. That's fine. It's the whole being related part I can't get past. There are actually laws against it most everywhere."

"Oh fine. Like there wouldn't be laws against marrying another species? Like Cole wouldn't have been in jail for the crimes he committed as Balthazar as it is. Face it, he got away with it because he was cute and Phoebe liked him. Sure wasn't because he was kind and trustworthy."

Piper had no response to any of what Paige just said but had a good question of her own for Paige to answer, "Okay, but do you really think you could handle it if Phoebe and I were all of a sudden in love? Seriously?"

"I can't answer that. And now since I've been involved in something like this I probably could. Before this I might have reacted just like you are now. With a giant ewe. But, it's not that black and white. Nothing is. We deal with demons daily so we know the world is not so simple. Maybe I'm being naive or just want to stay happy, but I don't even think of Phoebe as my half sister. I think of her as he woman I love. And I'm proud to say it. But I really hope this doesn't drive a wedge between you and her or you and I. But if it does, I'll feel sorry but will stay with Phoebe either way."

"Just give me some time. I don't think that's asking too much. I am sure in time everything will calm down a bit and we'll all have time to digest what's going on and I hope it becomes easier I really do. Just don't expect this to happen over night."

"That's fair enough." Paige was happy to agree and put this whole subject to rest for the night, she got up and said she was going to get something to eat and Piper joined her and as they were looking through the fridge and cupboards they heard the door open and Phoebe rushed into the kitchen with the information she had gathered.

She explained about who the man was in the video and all about his past and now all's they needed to do was figure out how to stop him without being exposed as witches.

Phoebe was full of adrenaline and was ready to try and figure out some plan but could tell Piper and Paige were pretty much beat.

"Well, I guess we can get at this in the morning. We still have two full days before were supposed to help him with this robbery so that's more than enough time to do even more research and maybe see if Leo can find out anything on this guy and then we develop a plan to stop him and it's over. Just like always."

"I admire your optimism Phoebe and I think with the information you found we certainly have a better chance of catching than we did before. Right now I need some sleep so I will talk to you two in the morning. Behave okay?" Piper said partially joking but mostly serious, although she didn't let either of them see that as she walked up the stairs to her room.

Paige was still looking for something to eat and Phoebe felt like she was avoiding her for some reason and she walked up behind her and put her arms around her waist, "I'm so glad to be home. I do love being able to hold you like this and not worry about getting caught."

Paige turned around to face Phoebe and smiled at her, "I had a talk with Piper about us and I'm not sure how it went. She has alot of issues with us being together and I'm not sure she will ever get over them. I understand, but I'd rather have her be supportive of us if possible.

"I know. I know. " Phoebe said, stroking Paige's hair with her hands and looking deep into her eyes as she continued, "I believe she will come around. This is just going to take time. Alot of time and we have to let her figure this out on her own."

"That's true. Look, let's not talk about Piper for now. I'm all talked out. I could go for a nice hot bubble bath if your up for it?" Paige asked in a soft sexy voice.

"Oh I'm up for it. Lead the way." Phoebe took Paige's hand and they headed upstairs to the main bathroom, which just happen to be next to Piper and Leo's room, so they were very quiet as they went inside and closed the door and then slowly undressed each other and slid into the now very hot water.

Phoebe started out on one end of the tub and Paige at the other and they were just smiling as they began washing themselves off and Phoebe asked Paige to do her back so she turned around and moved up against Paige, her back stopping as she made contact with Paige's full round breasts.

Paige grabbed a wash cloth and began slowly washing Phoebe's shoulders and then down her back then up the sides of her stomach then over her small neck then down the front of her shoulders and slowly moving over her firm breasts then down her cute little tummy and then back up to her breasts again where she dropped the wash cloth and grabbed her breasts with her hands and began slowly caressing them, rubbing her nipples with her fingers and then her thumb as Phoebe turned her head to face Paige and soon they were kissing passionately.

Phoebe turned herself around in the tub so she was facing Paige and they continued kissing so hot and with so much passion water was splashing all over the place.

The noise from all this was just a bit much and Piper was soon knocking on the door, "Okay, please don't tell me your both in that tub right now?"

Paige and Phoebe stopped kissing and couldn't help but smile and they looked at each other and each pointed at the other to say something and this resulted in just alot of silence.

"Phoebe! Paige! Are you in there? I thought we agreed there'd be no hanky panky until after this whole blackmail thing was over?"

Phoebe looked and Paige and knew Piper was right so she got up and grabbed a towel and covered herself up and then walked over to the door and opened it just a little, "Piper. Well, I was just finishing up a bath and now Paige is going to take one. So everything is fine. Were not doing anything okay."

"I hope not. Now let me walk you back to your room then." Piper insisted, almost pulling Phoebe's towel off her as she tugged on it.

"I'm coming!" Phoebe screamed, then looked back at Paige and blew her a kiss and smiled at her and Paige smiled back and blew her a kiss and watched as Phoebe shut the door and was dragged to her room by Piper.

"Come on Piper. You have to stop doing this. We were only having a bath together."

"Were you? Nothing else? No kissing I guess?" Piper asked, knowing the answer to that before she asked.'

"Okay, so we kissed a little. People do kiss you know."

"You were naked in the same bathtub. It's hardly just kissing. Look, I do not want to keep doing this. I honestly don't mean to sound like a mom, but let's just get through one crisis before I have to deal with this one? Okay? Please?"

Phoebe was going to start pointing out how wrong she was, but she decided to give Piper some peace of mind and agree with her and Piper was very relieved and they said goodnight and headed off to bed.

Paige was still lounging in the bubble bath when she heard a noise coming from within the bathroom itself. She stood up and looked around and couldn't see a thing. But she knew something was there and was going to scream for help when she saw a reflection in the bottom corner of the mirror where the steam hadn't fully covered it. What she saw was the reflection of a man who was standing directly in front of the door.

She tried to act casual and grabbed her bathrobe and put it on and then kept one eye on the mirror and the other on the door and picked up her clothes and slowly opened the door and walked back to her room.

Once inside she shut the door behind her and knew that would give her at least some time to figure out what to do.

She looked around her room and saw her cell phone on the night stand and picked it up and called Phoebe.

Phoebe picked uter ter a couplegs, gs, "Hello?"

"Phoebe, there's someone in the house. I think it's Enrique. I saw the same type of reflection in the mirror in the bathroom and I don't now how he got in there but I'm sure he had a camera or video and was filming us again. Call Piper and if she can somehow freeze everything in the house there is a chance he might get stuck and become visible. It's worth a shot."

"Okay. I will. Just be careful. I do not want you getting hurt. So please, just stay in your room for now." Phoebe turned the phone off and then on again and called Piper on her cell phone.

"Hello?"

"Piper, Paige thinks someone is in the house and she believes it's the same man who is blackmailing us. Can you freeze the contents of the house and see if that might make him visible?"

"I can sure try. Where did she see him last?"

"The bathroom. I don't know if he's even still around but I am guessing he is."

"Okay, I will go do this and meet you outside in a minute." Piper put down her phone and walked out into the hallway and made that now famous flip of her hands and presto, freeze time.

She called the girls out and they slowly made there way through the upstairs and checked in the bathroom and then the walked downstairs and as they came into the living room they saw the door was opened and Enrique was stuck in the middle.

This was a huge break for the girls. Or so they thought.

Phoebe walked up to where Enrique was frozen and took the video camera out of his hand and then removed a gun from a holster he was wearing and then removed his wallet and ran back to where Paige and Piper were standing and stood there with all his stuff in her hands and then shrugged her shoulders, "Now what?"

Paige and Piper looked at each other and they were all starting to figure out this was a completely different situation than they usually faced. Since he wasn't a demon they couldn't just vanquish him. He still had infoinformation about them being witches and of course the other information about Paige and Phoebe's situation so they stood there trying to figure out how best to handle this.

Piper was now the one pacing back and forth and only stopped to state the obvious, "Well I can't keep him frozen forever. Were going to have to decide what to do pretty soon."

"Let's look at some of our options." Phoebe walked over and put all his stuff on the coffee table and then grabbed a pen and a piece of paper, "One, we can send him to jail for breaking and entering our house. Not to mention blackmail. We can ask Leo what kind of precedents there are for dealing with human problems like this. We can give him to Cole and let him take care of it for us."

"Phoebe." Piper said with just the right amount of disbelief and scolding in her tone, "As much as I'd like to have this problem disappear I think we all know we can't just go around killing things that pose a problem for us. So, I propose we try and talk to him. See if we can reason with him. Maybe just tell him to move on and we won't turn him over to the police."

"I just don't believe a man like that is going to give up and say, 'Oh don't turn me. I will run away and hide', " Paige said in a highly sarcastic voice.

"Of course not. But, let's not forget he does love to play games and he does not want to be in prison either. Perhaps we could use those things against him somehow." Phoebe wasn't really sure what she meant by that at the time but was sure willing to give it some thought.

Paige's face lit up and she to was trying to come up with something that they could use against this guy.

Piper was doing the same and finally Phoebe stepped up and with a wide smile announced, "I've got it."

"What? What" Paige asked enthusiastically.

"Well it needs a little work but the only way to beat a game player is to beat him at the very game he plays." Phoebe then walked over and flipped through his wallet and then grabbed his camera and a light went off in her head, "Okay, this is a little off the wall and perhaps kind of mean, but it just might work."

Piper was smiling and wondering what Phoebe had in mind, "After what he's done to us and who knows how many other people I don't mind being a little mean, so what do you have in mind?"

"Okay, I say it's time for some embarrassing home videos of Enrique in some very unflattering situations. So let's get brainstorming and come up with some fun things for us to do here."

The girls put their heads together and were laughing the whole time they were coming up with things and then they set out to put all their ideas into action.

They were running in and out of the house with Enrique always so very quiet, yet accommodating and after they had taken him to many, many different places they brought him back home.

After a couple hours of some very inventive video taping and editing thanks to Darryl, Piper unfroze Enrique and they all just stood there as he tried to get his bearings.

He stood up and looked around the place and went for his gun only to find he didn't have one now and then made a run for the door so Piper froze him again and Phoebe and Paige put him back in the chair and this time they tied him up so they could let him see all the fun things he has to watch.

Piper released him again and this time he was very surprised to be sitting back in the chair with rope holding him to the chair. He was not impressed and decided it was time to go on the offensive again, "Okay, I don't know what you think your proving here but even if you kill me your secrets and I mean all your secrets will be revealed. So I'd suggest you let me go and you can do your job and then I'll be out of your life forever."

Phoebe knelt down in front of him and was smiling from ear to ear, "Well Enrique, we actually don't think we'll be doing your job on Friday. We think you might be taking a leave of absence from the bank robbing world really."

"I know your good witches. You are not going to kill me. And your sure not going to let me go to jail because the whole world finds out about your secrets. Now, enough of this. If you don't release me soon you will owe me a whole lot more than one bank job." he said smugly, so sure he had all his bases covered.

Paige then stood beside him and grabbed the remote for the VCR and Piper turned on the TV and Phoebe just smiled and told him to have a look at what he's been up to the last two hours and they started the video tape.

As the tape began it was a close up shot of good old Enrique sitting at a police station shaking hands with a number of high profile officials. Then there was a shot of Enrique handing an envelope to a man wearing a very visible FBI badge on his jacket. Then there was a shot of Enrique apparently making a deal to turn in his whole posse as they tried to pull of the Fort Knox job.

Enrique was in shock and confused and had no idea what they had done but was not impressed and began to get very irritable and nasty, "If you think anyone will believe this tape your crazy. People know me. They trust me. I stand by my people. This won't fly. Right now I'm only annoyed, if you keep this up I will give up your secrets just for the hell of it!!"

"Oh poor Enrique, all wound up and nobody is listening to you. Well, there's more on the tape. Let's keep watching. It gets better." Phoebe pointed at the TV and then smiled at Enrique as the next part began.

It was a shot of Enrique in a rather compromising position with a very confused sheep.

Enrique's mouth was wide open and he was really getting pissed now, "No way anyone will believe this."

"Hmmmm, you may be right about all this, but just in case you are there is one more surprise left on the tape. Go ahead, watch and enjoy." Piper said with such a look of contentment on her face.

Enrique then watched as his right hand man was being led away by police as Enrique looked on with a number of FBI agents and then was seen taking an envelope full of cash.

Phoebe lifted Enrique's head away from the TV, "Now, it is possible that you could explain away some of this stuff on tape, but I highly doubt you can explain it all. Not to the kind of people you work with. You have two options here. One, you can get go tell everyone what you "THINK" you know about us and see what happens. Two, you can crawl away and be happy your not in jail or in prison or worse. It's up to you. But we will not be blackmailed and if you push us too far you will find out were not always good witches after all."

Enrique was steaming but was also trying to figure out what he should do next, "Listen, that tape is fake. I did none of those things. Everyone will see this. It will never work."

"If only you sounded convincing." Paige walked over to where Phoebe and Piper were standing and she handed Enrique a piece of paper to read.

He looked it over and then laughed it off.

Piper figured he would do that so she looked at Phoebe and Paige and they started chanting some very strange words and when they were done Enrique was transformed into a very tiny and very scared little mouse.

They kept him in a cage for a couple hours and gave him lots of cheese to eat and even a nice little wheel to play on and after they had some dinner they came back and took him out of his cage and sat him in the chair again and cast another spell and soon he was sitting in the chair again.

Only this time he had the look of fear in his eyes and was so much more cooperative this time around.

"Okay, okay, okay!!!. Fine, you win. You win. I give up. I will leave now and you will never hear from me again."

"Enrique, just a little friendly advice. Don't test us again. Next time it t not not by a mouse. So you can think of what might be worse than that every time you feel the need to tell the world about us." Piper added, making it very clear that she was not bluffing in any way.

"And one last thing." Phoebe stood directly in front of him and looked him right square in the eyes, "Even if you do become stupid again and decide you can get away with this, rest assured we will simply cast a spell to turn back time and promptly turn you into something very unpleasant and that will be that. You can't win. Now get out and don't look back."

Enrique stood up and with a look of contempt slowly walked out of the room. Not saying one word. Not uttering any threats or insults. Nothing. He just left with his tail between his legs and took off out the door.

The girls all let out a cheer as he left and then congratulated each other on a job well done and Phoebe gave Piper a big hug and then Phoebe a hug and then a kiss and soon they were going at it very hot and heavy and Piper just rolled her eyes and yelled out, "Oh get a room would you."

Phoebe smiled at Piper and took Paige's hand and said, "I think we will do just that." and with that the two girls ran upstairs to finally have some time together and they were both ready to make very good use of that time.
