Chapter 3
***A/N***
If you're expecting scenes of graphic sex in this chapter, you may want to turn back now. I wanted to do some emotional development leading up to a later chapter, but, I feel that without this chapter, the point I'm working up to will be lacking of meaning.

Something isn’t right. Every time I look at him, I get this feeling inside of me that is so happy, but when I think about those last moments at the house, I feel so bad.
That thought kept repeating itself inside of Gem’s head as he sat silently and still in the passenger seat of Flynn’s Hummer on the way back towards the Garage. On the drive back, Flynn had made a comment on how fun it was for him and how much he enjoyed being with the Gold Ranger, and though Gem had found the sex equally, if not more exhilarating than the Scotsman, he couldn’t shake the dirty feeling he got right after everything had happened. He was expecting more, for Flynn to do things like he had saw on the videos, like trying to hold him and talk to him. Though Gem was rather inexperienced with sexuality and relationships, all the data he had ever happened to brush across, he had expected more. With all these thoughts swirling inside Gem’s head, all he could reply with to the Scotsman was with short, half-hearted responses.
Flynn could tell that there was something wrong Gem by the energy-drained tone in his voice. “Hey, laddie, what’s buggin’ ya?”
At first Gem didn’t realize he had been asked a question until Flynn tapped on Gem’s shoulder, and finally the other man snapped to attention. “Yeah?
“I asked what was buggin’ ya?”
Gem was silent.
Flynn glanced his eyes quickly over at Gem, and catching the blank look on the other’s face, Flynn eyes returned to the road and let out a deep sigh. “You were expectin’ more from this, wasn’t ya?” a bit of a worried look crossed Flynn‘s face. “Listen Gem, you’re a really sweet guy and all, but, I wasn’t looking for anything beyond finishing what I started last week.”
Gem looked over at Flynn. “Well…”
“Now, look,” Flynn cut Gem off with a bit of a hurriedly forceful tone in his voice. “I told ya when we were trapped in that container, I got hurt with what I did with Dillon cause I got too close. Now, I don’t want to string ya along and then toss ya off to the side like Dillon did to me, but, ya’ve gotta understand, I’m not lookin’ for anythin’, I was just finishing up what we started in a such a adrenaline-filled time, cause I didn‘t want ya to keep wondering what could of happened. We had sex, and from the looks of things, we both enjoyed it. The sex is over now, so let’s go back to the way things were between us before that night in the container and not tell anyone what happened between the two of us so that this doesn‘t have an awkward affect on our Ranger duties, okay?”
Gem sighed before a small smile creped across the right side of his face before he turned his head and looked right at Flynn. “I understand. I don‘t want this to come between our ranger duties either.”
Flynn looked at Gem again and a half-smile crossed his face. “That’s great, then.”
For the remainder of the ride, the two men rode in silence, with Flynn thinking about what his next project would be to get his mind off of the conversation he just had, while the man in the other seat continued on with his thinking and worrying, plus with the added burden of just lying to the man who was driving.
***
It had been nearly a week since he had had sex with Flynn, and Gem still couldn’t shake the thoughts from his head, though, he did his best to hide it from everyone, especially from Flynn, it seemed most everyone but Flynn noticed that there was something on his mind. And, there was. One of the point the Series Blue Operator had wanted to make clear was the one that Gem was the most concerned about: not letting what had happened between the two affect their duties as rangers. In a bit of a blessing in disguise, Venjix activity had been rather low for the past week and Flynn and Gem had not been in close proximity to one another while combating the 3 minor Grinder attacks. While at the base, though, Gem had been finding himself avoiding Flynn more and more, in hopes of avoiding any awkward moments. So far, he had been successful, though he was beginning to wonder how long he could keep it up, especially when he caught himself staring at Flynn from at a distance, like he was doing right at that moment from the door to his bedroom as Flynn was bent over inside of the motor of his Hummer down in the pit of the Garage. The moment Flynn leaned up and started to turn around, though, Gem swiftly slid back inside of his room before the mechanic could see him.
Unknown to Gem, though, someone had seen him standing there, staring blankly downwards, and noticed the conflicted look on the man’s face. Sitting at the kitchen bar in the pit, lost in thought, was Gemma. While everyone had noticed the strange way Gem was acting, no one besides her had shown any interest in why he was acting so not like himself, but Gemma had been keeping her distance the past week, hoping that if her brother had any problems, he would of came to her to talk about it. Unfortunately, Gem hadn’t gone to her yet, even though there was still something obviously troubling him.
“…and that is how you make French Toast.”
The voice of the Green Ranger, Ziggy, snapped her out of her daze and caused her to swiftly turn her attention back to the young man in front of her.
“Did you pay ANY attention to ANYTHING I just said?” Ziggy asked, somewhat irritated as he held a fresh piece of French Toast in his hand.
Gemma gave Ziggy a big, enthusiastic smile, before her face shifted into a sorrowful look as she let out a sigh. “I’m sorry, Ziggy, but I just couldn’t focus on you while Gem has been acting so weird this past week. I’m sure you’ve noticed it too, right?”
Ziggy took a bite of the food he had just prepared. “Yeah, Gem does seem a bit out of it.” he replied, as crumbs of the toast came falling out of his mouth. “Don’t you know what’s up with him? You two always seem to know what the other is thinking.”
Gemma gave Ziggy a smile before she playfully slapped his chest. “Oh, no we don’t, silly. Whatever game you that idea?”
“Oh, nothing, really.” Ziggy replied, then added, under his breath, “It’s just that tiny sentence-finishing thing you two crazies do all the time.”
Gemma didn’t catch the other half of Ziggy’s comment, and continued on with her train of thought. “Anyways, Ziggy, something is wrong with Gem, but, he hasn’t told me about it. As a matter of fact, we’ve barely spoken that much at all.”
“Well, have you tried asking him about it?”
“Oh, no, I can‘t do that” Gemma replied, shocked by the mere suggestion of it. “I’m sure if he wants to talk about something, he would come to me. I am his twin sister. He can tell me anything.”
“You know, sometimes people are too afraid to talk about something.” The voice of Summer suddenly appeared, and the Yellow Ranger walked her way in between Gemma and Ziggy, pushing the latter of the two back and onto the floor so that she could be the center of Gemma’s attention. “If you want, I can go talk with Gem.”
“Aw, gee, Summer. Thanks.” Gemma said with a gracious smile. “But, Gem won’t talk to you. If he has a major problem, he’ll only tell me or Doctor K. You would have better luck trying to hold back Venjix with a Window’s Firewall than getting Gem to talk with you about what’s bothering him.” Gemma’s comment seemed to shock Summer. “But, you are right, he probably is too afraid to bring it up to me.” She stood up from the stool she was sitting on. “Well, I’m going to find out what’s bothering Gem.”
As Summer stood there, still shocked and Ziggy pulled himself off the ground, Gemma made her way up the staircase that led to the sleeping quarters of the rangers. When she got to the open door of the room she and Gem shared, she walk into the middle of the archway and looked over at the twin-sized bed where her brother Gem slept. Sitting in the middle, all bundled up in his comforter, was the Gold Ranger.
“Gem, can we talk?”
“About?” Gem’s voice was somewhat confused, but also somewhat saddened.
Closing the bedroom door behind her, Gemma made her way over to her brother’s bed and sat down right beside him. She placed her hand on his blanket-covered shoulder. “What’s wrong? You haven’t been yourself all week.”
“There’s nothing wrong.” Gem’s words were short and sharp.
“You can’t lie to me, Gem. I can tell when you do it, and I can also tell when something is bothering you. You’re not yourself, and I’m worried what’s making you like this.”
Gem could feel the concern emanating from the words of his sister, and really wanted to tell her that he was filled with all these great, positive emotions, all thanks to Flynn, but, also full of these much-stronger negative feelings brought on by the Scotsman as well. “It’s just… just…”
“Just what, Gem?”
He still kept hesitating. Gem didn’t feel like he should mention Flynn, wanting to keep up to his agreement of keeping their sexual encounter a secret. After a few moments of silence, while his sister patiently waited for a response, Gem had an idea.
“…I kind of met someone a few weeks ago, and…
Gemma was confused. “You met someone? Like a friend?”
“Um… something like that. They‘re a bit more than a friend, actually” Gem replied, then got back on track. “Anyways, the person I met and I did… well, some things together, and, I really, REALLY liked it, but…”
“You two played some games? Or make explosives? Or did work on advanced quantum physics?” Gemma asked, with excitement filling her voice.
“No…” Gem replied hesitantly.
“Then, what?”
Gem reached his hand out from the confines of the blanket and placed it on his chin in a thinking pose. “Oh, how to put this… Um… you remember how K showed us her research on how the other rangers had been dealing with the stress of their lives with the addition of being rangers and fighting to protect the last outpost of humanity?” Gem released his thinking pose, as well as raised out his other hand from within the blanket. He then extended a finger of one hand and began inserting it in and out of a hole from his other, balled-up fist.
Gemma’s expression lit up in a state of surprised shock. “You mean, you actually…?” she mimicked the hand gesture her brother just preformed to finish her question.
Gem only nodded.
“So, that’s what’s been bothering you lately?” Gemma once again inquired.
Gem shook his head. “No, not exactly. All that was fine.” Gem smiled for the first time in a week. “It was more than just fine, it was amazing.” After a moment of glowing, though, his mood shifted right back to the melancholy one he had been in before. “It’s actually what happened afterwards. The other person doesn’t want to do it again. Actually, they wanna act like it didn’t happen at all, pretty much. The think is, I DO want to do it again, with the same person, and I also don’t want to act like it never happened, because… because…” Gem became silent as he curled again into the blanket.
Though Gem didn’t say anything, Gemma knew how he was going to finish that sentence. “You have feelings for this other person? Have you told them?”
“NO!” Gem suddenly shouted, with a bit of embarrassment in is voice. “H-… Sh- … the other person just recently got out of a bad situation where they grew feelings for a guy but this guy was pretty much just using them and cheated on them.”
“So, the other person is afraid of getting hurt again?” Gemma asked, sympathetically.
“That’s what I think. But, the way they handled things after we had done things, it’s just so…”
“Crappy?”
“Yeah.” Gem sighed “They said it was a one-time thing, but, I don’t want it to be. I want more but, at the same time, I don’t want to freak them out and push them away because I really do like this person. I just don’t know what to do, and I’ve been trying to figure out what to do. I’ve even gone down to the Corinth Library and…” Gem scooted forward on his bed until he could lean over and reach underneath. He then pulled out a stack of thick books, all 4 dealing with relationship advice. “…got these, but, each one of them is saying something totally different, and it’s just not making sense to me. I really need some advice from someone, anyone.”
Gemma looked at the four books that Gem had just pulled out, and picked up one titled Understanding Love and Sex by Mary Sueston , opened it up, and flipped through a few pages. “Wow.”
“That book? Yeah, I know I have no clue about love or sex, but even I know when I’m reading the ramblings of a crazy person.” Gem said as he looked at the book in Gemma’s hands.
Gemma was confused for a moment. “Oh, no, not this book, though the little bit I glanced at, I think you’re right. It’s just that I never would of expected you to get so worked up over something like this, Gem.”
“It’s so confusing and it‘s making me tired, Gemma.” Gem said with a sigh of exhaustion. “In the span of two weeks, I’ve experienced things I never have before, and I have no clue what I’m suppose to do.”
Gemma sat there, looking at her brother, watching how he was getting so worked up and so involved with the emotions he was feeling. “Hmm… well…”
“You have an idea?” Gem suddenly asked, highly excited.
“Let’s go talk to-”
“-Doctor K!”
“I’m sure she’ll know what exactly to do for you, Gem! She has been studying things like this for the past few months, maybe she’ll let us look at more of her notes and those could help you!” Gemma jumped off her brothers bed and then grabbed his hands and pulled him up.
“Wow! I wonder why I didn’t think about asking her sooner!” Gem exclaimed as if he was kicking himself in the butt. He tossed off his blanket and dashed to the door of his room. “Come on, Gemma. Let’s go and take a look at her notes!”
The two twins hurriedly shot out of the room, and dashed down the stairs, into the garage, past the kitchen where Summer was teaching Ziggy the right way to make French Toast, and through the door that lead into the Ranger Room. Sitting in the middle of the sterile-looking room at her computer station was Doctor K, staring intently at on of the monitors while her hands rapidly moved across the keyboard.
“Doctor K, are-
“-you busy?”
Without looking away from her computer screen for even a millisecond, Doctor K replied. “I’m right in the middle of reconfiguring the power source of the Ranger Systems to optimize power usage.”
“Oh, good, you’re not that busy then.” Gemma said, with a smile. “We were wondering if-”
“-we can look at some of your behavioral research on the other rangers. We’re kind of hoping it could help us with a problem I’ve been having.”
“You mean how you’ve been performing at a very unsatisfactory level that is close to being almost as horrendous as Rangers Series Green? Well, personally, I don’t see how my research into the sexual behaviors of young adults under extreme levels of stress could be helpful to you Gem, unless…” Doctor K suddenly stopped typing and just sat there for almost a minute before her head slowly emerged from behind the monitor with a look of total shock on it.
Gem only nodded before getting to the point. “I’ve sort of been caught up over this one person, and I’m hoping your research would have something that could help me out.”
Doctor K stared blankly at Gem for a moment more before snapping back to her usual self. “Well, it depends on the exact nature of your problem, Gem. My research only covers behaviors and reactions.”
“The person Gem is having a problem with is a bit, well, the person doesn’t want anything from Gem other than that one time they had together, and they also want to ignore the fact that anything even happed at all between the two of them.” Gemma said in response.
“Is that it?” A look of irritation came across Doctor K’s face.
“Well, no.” Gem said hesitantly. “I do have feelings for this person as well.”
“So?”
Gem and Gemma looked at each other confused, before turning back to Doctor K. “What do you mean-”
“-by ‘So?’?”
“Exactly what I said. ‘So?’” Doctor K replied bluntly as she walked out of her work station, around, and then right over to where Gem and Gemma were standing. “Your emotions are an abstract idea that are obviously one-sided. This other person has made it clear to you they don’t want anything more than what has occurred, well, then, that is that.”
“But, Doctor K,” Gemma began “what if the other person is just too afraid to say what they feel?”
Doctor K was becoming even more irritated. “Well, what is the gender of this person Gem is distressing over? You have been rather careful this whole time Gem to avoid using a gender-specific pronoun to describe the person you had your sexual encounter with.”
Gem turned away from Doctor K and his sister, crossing his arms and twisting his right foot into the ground. “Does it really matter, Doctor K?”
“Yes, yes it does, Gem.” K snapped at the young male. “Males and females respond differently to situations and stimuli. Women tend to be more emotionally involved when it comes to sex, as well as say conflicting things to what they are experiencing. Men, on the other hand, can be emotionally detached and just treat sex as sex.”
Gem was quiet for a moment. He thought over what he should say. ‘Well, it’s not like they’ll just think me having sex with a guy means I had sex with Flynn. Maybe I should tell them that it is at least a guy, but that he’s not just like any other guy, that he’s not emotionally devoid, well, at least not all the time.’
“Do you plan on saying if the person is male or female, or do you plan on trying my patience even more today, Gem?” Doctor K suddenly snapped, bringing Gem’s attention back to her. “Well, Gem, I have a feeling now on
Just as Gem turned around, and opened his mouth to begin to reply, the door of the Ranger Room opened, and Summer came waltzing in, with a concerned expression on her face. “Doctor K, I heard you shouting. Is everything alright?
“Yes, Summer, everything is fine from a standpoint of your concern, though, personally, my patience is beginning to wear thin due to a problem Gem is currently having with a sexual partner.”
Summer looked over at Gem. “Oh, poor Gem. What is it? Maybe I can help you. I’ve written 3 books over sex and love.”
“You have?” The three others asked all at once, surprised.
“Yeah. ‘Understanding Love and Sex’, though, I wrote that under a pseudonym cause I was 16 at the time and no one would publish the book.”
Gem and Gemma turned to one another, with their eyes bulging, and the two trying to contain their laughter.
“Well, as an interesting insight into your past as that is, Summer, that’s inconsequential. Gem’s ‘problem’ is totally pointless cause the other person has expressed that they want nothing to do with Gem after their brief sexual escapade, and he should just forget about it because the other person said to and move on instead of wallowing in his illogical emotions.”
“Well, Doctor K,” Summer began to retort “I think Gem should obsess over the other person, make a shrine devoted to the other person in his closet, and write out he feelings and desires into a private journal.”
“Ranger Yellow, that is the most delusional advice I have ever heard in my life, and is far worse of a thing to be doing than moping around, lovesick.”
“It’s worked for me for years, Doctor K.”
“Well, that explains a lot of things.”
“What do you mean by that, Doctor K?”
“I mean..”
Right as it looked like Doctor K and Summer were about to erupt into argument, Gemma got in between the two. “Hey, you two, stop it for a minute! Gem is wanting our help, and you two are just bickering. You don’t even know that he hasn’t said anything about his feelings to the other person yet!”
Summer and Doctor K stopped right in the middle of their words as the shot their faces into the direction of Gem. “WHAT?!” the two women shouted simultaneously.
Summer walked over to Gem and, while his back was still mostly turned to the three women, grabbed his arms and began to march him forward. “You have to tell her your feelings, Gem. Whatever she’s done or said, I’m sure she’ll have a change of hear once you’ve revealed your heart and expressed your feelings.”
A look of confusion and horror spread across Gem’s face. “Summer, it’s not…”
“Yes, it is that simple, Gem. You just have to trust me. I’ll be right here with you if you need the support, too.”
As Summer was dragging Gem away, Gemma looked over at Doctor K. “Wait, Gem never said he had feelings for a girl, so, how does she know?”
Doctor K just stared at Summer pushing Gem out of the Ranger Room. “He didn’t say that and she doesn’t really know.” She then turned her attention to the young Asian female at her side. “Now, let us go and watch the outcome of Summer and her lack of understanding of your brother, Gemma. It’s going to be rather entertaining.”
“How so, Doctor K?”
“Well, as flamboyant as I’ve always found Gem to be, I never realized that he was homosexual, though, in hindsight, it’s rather obvious now.” Doctor K then began to walk towards the door to find Summer who was already out in the Garage’s pit.
Gemma was left standing in the middle of the Ranger Room, somewhat shocked for a moment of K’s revelation of her brother’s sexuality. That moment quickly passed as an excited look came across Gemma’s face. “Oh, I’ve always wanted another gay best friend!” She shouted before she following behind Doctor K.
***
“You know what, Gem, I’ll go get the keys for Flynn’s car I can drive you to this girl’s house.” Summer said as she finally let go of Gem.
“Summer can you listen for a second. I’m not…” Gem tried to speak.
“If you wait any longer, you could loose your chance. You need to grasp this moment and go for it. If she never knows how you feel, you both could regret the choices you made.” Summer glided effortlessly over from Gem to Flynn who was putting the hood back onto his Hummer. “Hey, Flynn, can I borrow your car for a little bit, I need to take Gem to go and confess his feelings to this girl in the city.”
Flynn barely finished latching the hood back on right Summer asked him the question. “Wait, what? Gem’s in love with a girl? Since when? , I haven’t even seen that much of Gem this week at all, for some odd reason.” He walked over to a crate where a bottle of water was sitting and took a drink.
“I’m not exactly sure. A week or so, I think” Summer replied, “Apparently, this past week of him being so unlike himself has been because he’s been unable to express his feelings to her after she told him that what they did was a over.”
When Flynn heard those words, he spit out the water that was in his mouth. “What in Odin’s Beard did you just say, lass?” His eyes quickly shot over to Gem, with a confused look in his. “I thought…”
Gem rushed over to Flynn, pushing Summer out of his way and into a pile of greasy rags. He grabbed Flynn by the arms and looked him in the eyes. “I know what I said last week, Flynn, but, I remember about you telling me how involved you got the last time, and how hurt you were. That and the way I felt so hurt after you so just upped and left after were finished having sex, I said I understood what you said. It was part out of anger and part out of concern for you. After having a week to think about it, I know that now. I also know that I want you too.”
Flynn pulled away from Gem and took a few steps back, surveying the room. Standing around were Summer, Ziggy, Doctor K and Gemma, staring at the scene going on before them. Summer had a totally stunned expression on her face, while the other three were practically un-phased.
“Wait, Gem, Flynn… you’re both gay?” Summer asked, with a slight tone of disgust and confusion to her voice.
“Ya would have ta be as blind as me old Aunt Irene not to tell I played for the other team.” Flynn paused for a moment. “Well, that or as delusional a ya are.”
Gem was confused. “Wait, I’m gay?”
“It’s that, or you’re bisexual, Gem.” Doctor K interjected. “But, if you ask me, I think it’s a safe bet to say, yes, you are gay.”
“Okay”
“Wait, what is it any of ya business to know what’s goin’ on?” Flynn suddenly shouted at the three women and the silent and still Ziggy. “Get the hell outta here, cause me and Gem has some talkin’ ta do!” The anger in Flynn’s voice was an obvious clue for the four people to get out of the pit.
As soon as they had scurried out of the Garage into the Ranger Room, silence filled the pit. Gem and Flynn looked at each other, Gem with eyes full of shame and compassion, while Flynn’s were full of anger and confusion.
“Look Flynn, I’m sorry, I didn‘t mean to let everyone…”
“Why didn’t you tell me sooner that I hurt ya? Or that you had feelings for me?”
Gem was caught off-guard. He was half-expecting Flynn to start yelling at him. “Wait, what?”
Flynn sighed as he walked over to Gem and placed his greasy hand on the shoulders of Gem’s track suit and looked him in the eye. “Why didn’t you tell me sooner that I hurt ya? I told you in that container how bad I got hurt the last time. I never meant to hurt you, Gem.” He suddenly then wrapped his arms around the other man and embraced him, placing one of his hands on the small of Gem’s back while the other on the man’s head, somewhat cradling him. “I’m sorry.”
Gem just stood there. Flynn’s embrace was comforting, and, all the worry and all the confusion of the past week just melted away as the warmth of the other man’s body radiated against his. “I should of said something sooner. I should of asked more questions beforehand. I get that you don‘t have the same feelings I have for you, it‘s just that I had to let you know.”
Flynn pulled away a slight bit to look Gem in the eyes. “Oh, shush it, laddie. I rushed it too. We just both went into this with different things in mind, and, I’m guessin’ I was the one who was more unfair.” He then sighed. “And, no, I don’t have tha same feelin’s as ya’ve got for me…”
Gem’s face sank low to the ground.
“…I think mine might be a wee bit more.”
Gem’s head shot backup, and he looked Flynn directly into the eyes.
Flynn let out a coy little grin. “Ya are the first person I’ve ever been around that I wasn’t drawn in by good looks and bad-boy attitude, though, ya are pretty damn cute. Truth be told, I really couldn’t stand ya at first, but, over time, once you and Gemma started to calm down, I started noticin’ what kind of person you were, and, while ya are rather childish at time, ya are also kind, brave, carin’ and pure. When I saw you hurt in the cargo container, I was so worried about ya, and, when ya kissed me all the sudden that night, I just felt, so… alive. But, I still had that baggage with me from the last guy. I was just so afraid I was building up all these emotions. I just left you in my bed after we finished having sex and then snapped at you in the car, hoping you would say something, speak up. I’m realizing now that I was an idiot for doing that, I should of just talked to you first.”
Gem let out a large grin. “Oh, Flynn…” He leaned forward, and gently kissed the Scotsman on the lips, a kiss Flynn returned.
When Flynn pulled back, he gave Gem a smile. “I’ve got a lot of making-up to do for ya.”
“I thought you didn’t want to be caught on Doctor K’s cameras?” Gem said, confused.
“I said, makin‘-up, not makin’ out.” Flynn said with a chuckle. “I’m gonna take you out on a proper date, Gem, to make up for me being such a block-headed dick ta ya.”
Gem suddenly jumped out of Flynn’s arm’s and bouncing around. “YAY! I’m going on a date! I’m going on a date!” He stopped and looked at Flynn. “I’ve gotta go let Gemma know!” The excited man dashed off to the ranger room before Flynn could stop him, and when he got inside, he looked at Gemma. “Flynn just asked me out on a date!”
Gemma rushed over from one of the wall monitors everyone was gathered around to the door where Gem was. “I KNOW!” She shouted with excitement as she rushed over to her brother and the two began jumping up and down. “We need to figure out what you’re going to wear!”
Over by the monitor, Summer was still in shock. “I can’t believe Flynn and Gem are both gay… I mean… I never expected that.”
“Well, I think that’s great for both of them,” Ziggy chimed in. “That means more women for me.”
Doctor K rolled her eyes. “Sure it does.”
Gem and Gemma rushed out of the Ranger Room to go upstairs, but, Gem stopped when he saw Flynn waiting at the bottom of the staircase. He walked slowly up to the Scotsman. “He Gemma,” Gem began to say as he still kept his attention on Flynn. “Go on up and get some of my clothes out of the closet.”
“Ya might wanna pull out somethin’ nice and formal.” Flynn added in.
Gemma walked up beside the two men and placed a hand on a shoulder of each. “YAY! I’m so excited for you both!” Gemma said to them before she patted them with a touch of force and then darted up the stairs towards the room she shared with her brother.
“So… where are we going?” Gem asked.
“Well, I wasn’t expecting to actually go out RIGHT this moment,” Flynn started to say with a serious tone, but his face quickly shifted to that of a grin “but, seein’ ya so excited about it, I do know of a nice place downtown. I gotta clean up and get dressed up, first. After that, we can head off.” Flynn leaned forward and gave Gem another gentle kiss. “Now, get ya nice little arse in gear and get up those stairs so ya can get ready.” He reached back and gave a nice, firm slap on Gem’s butt.
Gem smile as he leaned in to give Flynn one last little kiss before he shot up to his room to pick out clothes for his date.
