Tristan

And this is all in Helena’s head so it’s kind of…scattered, like her? Anyways, just some insight on our mystery man. Enjoy!

Chapter 3: Tristan
They had been filming for around ten minutes, Viv was just starting to warm up on her verbal bashing (“You really think it’s ok for a son to sleep with his sister? What planet are you from? Were you raised in a barn? You disgust me, you know that. You really do”). Helena was standing behind Des and Jonathan, listening but not at the same time.
She fumed silently. Why did he have to come back? Why? Why now? Why ever? She bit down on her tongue as she thought of him.
Tristan Knight.
They’d met four years prior and had fallen hard and fast. At the time, Tristan had been working as an actor at Her Majesty’s Theater and now he was a partner with the owner. But before all that, back when it was just the two of them, there had been…Something. She still didn’t know what to call it. Many afternoons they spent lying in each other’s arms, just feeling each other’s heart beat.
Then, everything fell apart. She would never blame their daughter-no, that was wrong on so many levels. No. In the end, Tristan had given no real reason for leaving. He just did. No phone calls. No letters. Not a scrap of child support.
She was jerked back into reality by Jonathan’s sudden raised voice. “No! No! You can not say that! You can not say that!” He shot a desperate look at Helena.
“What? I can’t bloody well fix everything.” Sighing, she shrugged as the show came to a close.
