Summary: What if another ship crash landed in Smallville during the second meteor shower?
Chapter Two
Isobel entered the Luthor mansion because her senses were telling her that something was there. She made her way down the long hall to where she remembered Lex’s study to be. The closer she got the louder the sound she was hearing got.
She carefully opened the door to see that it was the elder Luthor, Lionel, who appeared to be scratching something massive into the floor with a corkscrew. She floated by him like a violet phantom and ascended the flight of stairs. She gazed down to see that he was carving a giant “Z” into the wooden floor. The aliens had one just like it on the small of their backs. How, odd.
She glided back down the stairs to hover over him and jumped when he suddenly grabbed her wrist.
“The disciples of Zod,” he said in a deep voice with eyes burning an emerald green, “They must be stopped.”
Her amethyst eyes burned, “Tell me how, Lionel.”
“Their home is their only poison,” he chanted over and over.
She followed his gaze to the destroyed vault chamber to see glowing green rocks. They were the ones from the meteor shower. An evil smile made her lovely face all the more beautiful. She really did look best all dressed in evil.
She turned back to him, “You must leave here,” she said in a hypnotic not to be disobeyed for any reason voice, “They will come here searching for Kal-El.”
“They must not find him,” Lionel cried getting to his feet, “They must not harm him in any way.”
“And they wont,” she said and put a spell over him, “Go.”
She watched him leave and then turned back to the vault. A plan was already forming in her mind. Her magic was more than enough to take them out…but in a way…she wanted to see Kal-El fight. Was Kal-El Clark? She hoped so.
She held out a hand and a glowing ball of wispy light glowed before her.
“You know those which I seek,” she said with a smile, “Take me to them.”
The wisp zipped around her twice and she followed it out the door. Like Smallville earlier, she was still having a blast.

“How long have you known,” Clark asked from the window. He was scared to death that he was going to be looked down on for being different.
“When I first saw you catch a car like a beach ball,” she whispered and really wanted him to look at her.
Clark closed his eyes. Alicia had promised to keep his secret. Now it all made perfect sense why there had been no one in the car when he had caught it. He was always being betrayed by those he loved. He felt like such a hypocrite. He lied all the time. You reap what you sow, Clark.
“Why didn’t you tell me,” he asked turning to look at her.
She looked so pale and he had been terrified that he was going to lose his best friend.
“I figured you would tell me when you were ready,” she said while taking a sip of her juice, “Plus, I got to have your back in tight spots.”
Clark’s frown of worry turned thoughtful, “You protected me.”
“What,” she asked in some confusion, “Which time?”
“That day I lost all my memories…again,” he said, “You kept me from revealing my powers.”
Chloe nodded, “I couldn’t let anything happen to you.”
“You trusted me,” Clark whispered, “That’s what you meant when you told me that.”
“You’re amazing Clark,” she said with a huge grin, “You’re this Superman that is always helping people…you’re not like other meteor infected people.”
Clark’s face fell. She thinks I’m human.
“Clark,” she asked in concern, “What is it? What did I say?”
“I’m not from Smallville, Chloe,” he whispered in fear, “I’m not from anywhere on this planet…or this galaxy for that matter.”
Everything suddenly clicked into place for Chloe. The meteors, the cave, all his powers. Her best friend is an alien…this is so cool.
“Please say something,” Clark almost pleaded.
“Where are you from,” she asked in curiosity.
“A planet called Krypton,” he said walking over to her and smiled in relief when she reached out to take his hand, “But, its gone now.”
“You,” she said running her small hands over his big ones, “Look so human.”
“I am human,” Clark said feeling the tears, “I’m still the same old Clark Kent who wears plaid and falls over his big feet.”
Chloe smiled and had him come closer so she could hug him, “You’re still my Clark.”
“I am,” he smiled as he hugged her close. He had been so terrified.
“I love you, Clark,” she said and pulled back, “You do know that, right?”
“Yeah,” he said rubbing her soft cheek with his thumb, “Because I love you too, Chloe.”
“Oh my god,” she suddenly said looking at the television screen, “Clark, look.”
Clark turned around and his face paled. His house was on the news and his truck was still in the drive.
“They didn’t make it out,” Clark almost cried.
“Go,” Chloe said, “Smallville needs their Superman.”
“Are you…,” he began.
“I’m fine,” she said, “Go.”
He was gone in a whoosh and she grabbed her cup before it could fall to the floor. That was so totally amazing. She would never get tired of seeing…not seeing him do that.

Jonathan was holding onto Martha’s hand when she came to. He was so grateful that Lois had come back to check on them. If she hadn’t…he didn’t even want to think of what might have happened.
“Hello, sweetheart,” Jonathan smiled, “How are you feeling?”
“Like the sky fell on me,” she said with a small laugh as Lois came in with two cups of coffee.
“Mrs. Kent,” she said excitedly, “You look wonderful.”
“Lois,” she smiled and cringed when something exploded out in the hall.
“Jonathan,” she cried but he was already out the door with Lois hot on his heels.
He saw a man and a woman come walking down the hall in flapping black leather trench coats. Something about them did not feel…human.
“What’s going on,” he asked, “Is there trouble…officers?”
“Where is Kal-El,” the male asked.
Jonathan almost gasped, “Who?”
The female had him by the throat and lifted him off the floor, “Tell us where he is little worm.”
“Excuse me,” Lois said walking towards them, “Why don’t we put the nice man down and talk like big kids…okay?”
The female chuckled and hurled Jonathan across the hall for him to crash into a wall. He was knocked out cold.
Lois almost screamed but it was cut off as she was then lifted off the floor by her neck.
“Tell us where Kal-El is,” the female demanded again.
“You who,” a familiar voice called out, “Psycho Barbie and Gay Ken.”
The female dropped Lois on her ass and turned around to see the violet haired creature smiling at them.
“Lana,” Lois croaked in confusion at her new hairdo.
“I know where your Kal-El is,” she smiled, “Let’s go and surprise him.”
The female looked at her companion and the two of them quickly followed after the frightening enigma they were yet to understand.
8888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888
“Mom,” Clark called out, “Dad! Where are you?”
“The hospital,” a voice said and it was Lex, “Where have you been?”
“They made me go ahead of them,” Clark easily lied.
“I don’t think I believe you,” Lex said.
“And, I don’t think I care,” Clark snapped back just as easily.
“I see,” Lex said as he walked inside the ruin of the house, “Your parents are fine by the way.”
“Good,” Clark said moving to leave.
“That stone of power was in my safe,” Lex said, “Any idea how that door got pulled off its hinges, Clark?”
“No,” Clark told him, “Why would I know anything about that?”
“I was in the cave, Clark,” Lex said getting right up in the taller boy’s face, “Chloe and I saw someone, someone who looked a lot like you standing in the center of all this golden light.”
Clark took a deep breath. Lex was the reason Chloe almost died. The sky was falling and he took her to a cave that could have easily collapsed.
“You,” Clark whispered and his nostrils flared, “Took Chloe to the cave?”
“She knew something,” Lex snapped, “I have no idea where she is now.”
“You idiot,” Clark screamed, “You could of gotten her killed…and yourself…what do you mean you don’t know where she is?”
Clark smacked him and Lex stumbled back a few steps to look at him in shock.
“I’m sorry,” Clark whispered as he looked at his hand in fear, “I’m so…sorry, Lex.”
“Tell me the truth,” Lex practically begged even though his jaw ached like a mother, “Please, Clark.”
“It wasn’t me, Lex,” Clark said as the tears fell, “I’m so…sorry.”
Lex didn’t really know what to do. He had never seen Clark cry before.
Clark was shaking. He could of just killed Lex. He skull could of shattered into a hundred pieces. So many images of death played out in his mind.
Suddenly he felt arms wrap around him and a cool voice say, “Its okay…I believe you.”
Clark closed his eyes, “I didn’t…”
“Go see your parents,” Lex said as he took a step back, “I’ll try and find Chloe and we can fix this later.”
“I didn’t mean it,” Clark said and his voice cracked, “I really didn’t.”
“Go,” Lex smiled and he knew the bruise was going to be bad, “Its okay.”
Clark couldn’t move. He could of just killed Lex. He could of just killed his…friend.
“Your parents are probably worried sick about you,” Lex said, “Go to them.”
Clark quickly nodded and ran out of the ruin his home was in.
Lex just stood there not understanding what had just happened. Was everything going to be okay now? How did Clark get here? There was no vehicle. His face hurt.
88888888888888888888888888888
“Smallville,” Lois said and he spun around wondering what was wrong with her voice, “Your parents are fine.”
“Are you okay,” he asked seeing that she had a scarf around her throat.
“I will be,” she said, “Some psycho Barbie came in here with Ken and trashed up the place. They left with Lana. She looked really weird.”
“What do you mean,” he asked.
“She had violet hair…and amethyst eyes,” Lois said shaking her head.
“Where did they go,” he asked feeling really sick all of a sudden.
Isobel?
“I don’t know,” she said turning to look at the man who suddenly burped behind her and when she looked back, Clark was gone.
88888888888888888888888888888888
Isobel lead the two of them into Lex’s study with an evil smile on her face. She was going to kill two little aliens with one glowing green stone…literally.
“Where is Kal-El,” the male asked as the two of them came in behind her.
Isobel pointed to the vault, “In there.”
The two of them glanced at each other and approached the vault only to fall back when the glowing green rocks zapped their energy.
“The door,” the female cried, “Get the door!”
The male stumbled back into Isobel which knocked her down as he went for the door. He picked it up and ran with it until it covered the glowing opening.
Isobel jumped up with a snarl on her face, “You’ll pay for that.”
The female suddenly bitch slapped her across the face which sent her flying across the room to crash into a grandfather clock. She fell to the floor and the clock landed on top of her.
“Bitch,” the female cursed, “You’ll be the one to pay for hurting us.”
The male approached Isobel’s fallen form only to stop when a voice said, “I hear you’ve been looking for me.”
The two turned to the door to see a young man in a pair of jeans with a red jacket on, “I’m Kal-El.”
“We are so pleased to finally get to meet you, son of Jor-El,” the female said with a mocking bow, “We have longed for this moment.”
“Who are you,” Clark asked.
“The last children of Krypton,” the male said.
“What do you want with me,” he asked as he looked at Lana who did not look like Lana at all. Isobel?
“We want your help to build a utopia,” the female answered him, “Our master needs your help.”
“To do what,” Clark asked angrily, “Hurt people? Kill and destroy everything in sight?”
“If need be,” the male said, “They are only humans, Kal-El. They are cattle.”
“I don’t think so,” Clark said stepping into the room, “You need to go, now.”
“Such a pity,” the female said and took a bracelet off her wrist pushing a button on it.
She threw the bracelet at Clark who dodged it only for it to expand and become a raging portal behind him.
Heat beams struck him the chest and he flew backwards. He slammed his fists into the floor just to hold on. This was very bad.
“We can’t kill you, Kal-El,” the female said.
“But we can trap you for all of eternity,” the male finished for her.
The suction was really strong and he felt like he was being torn apart.
Suddenly he heard the male cry out and opened his eyes to see him go flying past him into the portal. What the hell just happened?
He could hear the female shout, “Who are you?”
Clark pulled his body forward and landed across the room to see a young man standing in front of the woman. The man punched her in the chest and she screamed as the portal devoured her. It turned into a glass mirror and flew out a shattered window.
“Who are you,” Clark asked and the young man turned to face him.
Clark eyes widened in shock. The young man looked to be several inches shorter than him and his molten blue eyes were breathtaking as was his golden skin. His hair was the color of sunlight and it was perfect. What was with all the leather?
“We must return to your fortress, Kal-El,” Kai-El said, “The yellow sun begins to set.”
“Lana,” Clark suddenly remembered and saw her stirring.
She sat up and amethyst eyes fell on him, “Hello, again.”
“Isobel,” Clark said in horror getting into stance for another fight.
She got to her feet, “The aliens?”
“Gone,” Clark told her, “Now give Lana back.”
“Kal-El,” Kai-El said moving towards him, “We must go, now.”
“I don’t know you,” Clark yelled and looked back at Isobel, “Give Lana back!”
Kai-El looked out the window to see the sun sinking below the horizon and quickly rushed his cousin. Clark barely had time to cry out when he was suddenly high up in the clouds.
He looked down and trembled in fear. He hated heights.
“Hold on to me,” Kai-El said, “If you are frightened, Kal-El.”
Clark didn’t even hesitate. He threw his arms around his neck with his face pressed tightly against his chest chanting a constant mantra of, “Don’t look down…don’t look down…why the hell did you look down?”
Kai-El smiled as he raced onwards towards the Fortress of Solitude.
888888888888888888888888888888888888
Isobel walked over and looked up through the giant hole in the ceiling that went up two more stories. Now, that was away to make an exit. Was Clark going to turn into a pumpkin if he didn’t get somewhere before the sun sat? That would be funny to see. She would use him to make pumpkin pie. What’s a Fortress of Solitude. That sure did sound like a lonely place.
That was when she noticed something shiny laying on the ground. She walked over and picked it up. It was an octagonal disk that had mystical symbols on it. She could feel the power in it. She was holding a key. No, she was holding the key…the key to Clark’s fortress.
She was going to wait for him in his loft. Was that even still standing? She hoped so. She liked the loft.
8888888888888888888888888888888888888888
“Please don’t drop me,” Clark whimpered as the wind rushed through his dark hair.
Kai-El chuckled, “I wont…but even if I did…you would be fine, Kal-El.”
That made Clark squeeze his neck tighter, “Who are you?”
“Your father will explain,” Kai-El said.
“You made me leave Lana,” Clark seethed in fear, “She’s not herself right now.”
Kai-El nodded, “You made a promise and your father expects you to keep it.”
“Tell me your name,” Clark said.
“Kai-El,” he said looking down with them blue topaz eyes, “Son of Zor-El.”
“Don’t look at me,” Clark squeaked, “Look where you’re going!”
“We’re here,” Kai-El smiled as he rapidly descended just so he could hear his handsome cousin scream like a child.
He let Clark go who stumbled away from him almost in tears. That was so not cool. He looked at Kai-El with pure venom in his eyes.
Kai-El chuckled and Clark narrowed his emerald eyes at him. What was he…was he staring at his crotch? He looked down and cringed. He had peed on himself.
“Ass hole,” Clark bellowed in outrage and embarrassment, “Just who the hell are you?”
“Language, Kal-El,” Jor-El’s voice boomed, “Is that anyway to speak to your cousin and consort?”
“Cousin,” Clark bellowed and then his eyes almost popped out of his head, “Consort?”
