Summary: Move over Roswell. What if Kyle XY woke up in Kansas and was found by a real alien?
Chapter Two
“A star,” an old woman cackled, “A star has fallen, my Sisters.”
“No,” the youngest of the three said in pure surprise, “This is wonderful news, my Sisters.”
“Isn’t it though,” the middle Sister smiled with gnarled and crooked teeth, “But who shall go and fetch it?”
“I am the oldest and the most powerful,” said the first as she turned to look at the two, “It is I who shall go forth and fetch us the star.”
The youngest put a hand on her ancient hip and snorted, “That is a lousy reason, my Sister, dear.”
The eldest pouted, “How do you mean?”
“We shall draw for it,” said the middle Sister as she held out cat tails, “Whoever pulls the tail with the white tip shall go and fetch the star.”
The oldest rolled her ancient eyes, “So childish…but I agree.”
“Excellent,” said the middle Sister, “But, who shall draw first?”
“I shall,” said the youngest, “Because I am the youngest.”
“No,” said the oldest, “I will draw the first cat tail.”
“We shall flip a gold coin,” said the middle, “For I care not who goes first.”
“Two out of three,” said the youngest.
“As you will,” said the oldest as the middle tossed the coin into the air.

“Tell me again how you found him,” Chloe asked as she watched the young man who Clark had named Kyle explore the loft, “And what made you think to call him Kyle?”
“I’ve explained how I found him three times already,” Clark whined as he stopped Kyle from almost falling over a rake, “And the name popped out at me from the magazine he was looking at when Lex was here.”
Chloe nodded and giggled when Kyle tapped Clark on the nose, “And he can hold fire in the palm of his hands?”
“Yes,” Clark said and led him over to let him play with the telescope, “And he is so curious…I think it annoys me…a lot.”
“How so,” Chloe asked and then noticed how the handsome young man seemed to sparkle in the moonlight.
“Lets see,” Clark said and started to count off incidences on his fingers, “He almost stuck his finger in a light socket…even though that might not of hurt him since he can hold fire. He has to touch everything those baby blues fall on, and he had to sniff everything he found in the fridge. He can’t speak, and he keeps tapping me on the nose…like one would do a puppy.”
“I get the point,” Chloe said holding up a hand, “But look at him, Clark.”
He turned to look at Kyle, “He…twinkles.”
“He does,” Chloe smiled, “Like a star.”
A fallen star? That was a good one, Clark. He needed to write that down.
“He might be meteor infected,” Chloe said as she watched him twirl the telescope around, “He’s lucky that you were the one who found him, Clark.”
Clark smiled over at her, “You think so?”
“Of course,” she said with a bright smile, “If it had not been for you…he would of woken up all alone in those dark woods…naked…scared…confused…not being able to communicate.”
“You’re right,” Clark frowned, “That would’ve been scary.”
Kyle turned to look at the two of them and his big blue eyes were filled with some emotion the two teens could not identify.
“Something wrong,” Clark asked him.
Kyle cocked his head to the side and smiled at him. It made Clark feel better.
“So, you’re going to play him off as your cousin,” Chloe asked.
“Got to,” Clark said, “It’s what I told Lex.”
“No missing person reports,” Chloe asked, “He couldn’t of just fallen out of the sky.”
Clark made a coughing sound and held up his hand to stop her, “I’m fine.”
She nodded, “Forget to breathe the correct way?”
“Yeah,” he sniffed, “Sheriff Ethan is playing along with us for now…at least until something turns up…which I doubt.”
“What was that,” Chloe asked.
“Nothing,” Clark lied, “I thought I was about to sneeze…misjudged that one, huh?”

Showing Kyle how to take a bath was an adventure in itself. The young man was completely mesmerized by the sparkling bubbles. He would lift them up in his luminous hands and blow them into Clark’s sour face…which made him laugh silently each time.
Clark rolled his emerald eyes and patiently explained to him what soap and shampoo was. He could not help but smile while he was shampooing Kyle’s silky soft locks of darkness. The young man would close his eyes and silently sigh. He must really like having someone play with his hair.
Drying him off was another story. Clark was afraid to touch him…and look at him. Kyle was hot…Kyle was very hot…and the whole not having a belly button…that was really hot. He wanted to lick that smooth glowing flesh.
Bad Clark!
Get a grip!
Don’t mind if I do.
Bad!
Very bad Clark!
He was blushing something furious and he knew it.
“Just keep your eyes on his face,” Clark chanted and then blushed even deeper than before, “He’s nice.”
Bad Clark!
Kyle put a hand on Clark’s shoulder which made Clark look into his eyes. Kyle smiled softly and squeezed his shoulder as if to say, “Thank you.”
Clark helped him into some shorts and a t-shirt before putting him in his bed. He told him that he would be downstairs if he needed anything.
Kyle just laid there and looked around the room with curiosity sparkling in his azure eyes. What all would he find in this mess? The soft thing under his head smelled good. His smile widened.

“How is he,” Martha asked as she turned the kitchen lights off, “He didn’t even touch his food.”
“In my bed,” Clark whispered, “Probably sleeping now.”
“Good,” Jonathan said, “You need to get to sleep yourself.”
“You’ve got school tomorrow,” Martha said, “And you need to catch the bus…you miss it way too much.”
Clark hugged them goodnight before he flopped down on the sofa.

“Yes,” the oldest of the three cackled in delight as she swung the winning cat tail around in circles over her head, “I am the winner.”
“Indeed,” said the middle much to the youngest Sister’s disappointment, “You are the winner, my Sister.”
“You will need this,” the youngest said and held up a beautiful ornate box with envy in her ancient eyes.
The oldest took it from her and sat it down on the table. She opened it up to reveal a heart that glowed with golden light laying on black velvet. She picked it up in her ancient hands and swallowed it whole.
Her two Sisters watched as the golden light spread throughout her entire body, even to the very tips of her long hair. She was beautiful to look upon.
She smiled at her radiant self in the magical black mirror. Her flawless skin was like that of polished alabaster, and her hair was long and curly, the color of flame. Her eyes were her most beautiful feature. They were like that of molten amber.
Her two Sisters gazed upon her young flesh and licked their wrinkled lips with envy and pride as how lovely their Sister was. Her beauty as indeed, timeless.
“Now,” the oldest smiled with lush red lips the color of rose petals as he held up a sharp silver blade, “I shall cut out his heart, and we shall be young once more.”
The youngest giggled, “I want his eyes as well. Please, bring me his eyes, my Sister.”
“His fingernails and toenails would make a lovely necklace,” said the middle, “Bring me them, my Sister.”
The oldest of the three witches laughed, “And I shall wear his sparkling skin as a shroud.”
All three looked at each other and cackled with glee. This had been a most pleasant day indeed.

Clark opened his eyes when he left a light tap on the tip of his nose. He sat up to see Kyle kneeling next to him with a big smile on his handsome face.
“What’s wrong,” Clark asked as he rubbed his eyes to see that Kyle was glowing like a pale silver star in the darkness of the living room.
Kyle reached out with a luminous hand and took Clark’s in it pulling gently. Clark got the impression that Kyle wanted him to get up…so he did.
Kyle smiled and began to pull Clark gently by his big golden hand over to the steps, and then up them. Had something happened in his room?
He let Kyle lead him into his room only to freeze when Kyle released his hand. What in the world? His room was clean. He could not even find a speck of dust with his alien vision. This was amazing. His room had never been so clean in all the years he had slept in it. His Mom would freak.
Kyle sat back down on the bed and slid his glowing feet under the covers. Clark smiled at him and then blinked when Kyle scooted over in what looked to be making room for him to lay down as well. This was nice.
Bad Clark!
Kyle grinned at him and gestured for him to take his place on his bed. Clark bit his bottom lip. He couldn’t do this. His parents would kill him. They didn’t know he was gay. It would kill them…and maybe him.
Kyle turned to the side and he was pouting at him.
“Oh my god,” Clark trembled, “He pouts almost as well as me.”
He could just tell his parents that Kyle got scared and he thought it was the cousinly thing to do…but, he would sleep above the covers.
He walked over and laid down on his back next to Kyle only to stiffen when a glowing arm went around him. Kyle pressed in close to him and sighed happily.
Clark took several deep breaths to calm himself and quickly started picturing himself drinking lemon juice in order to tame himself down under. The last thing he wanted to do was freak Kyle out. It was obvious that the poor guy was feeling alone and scared in this new environment. The last thing Kyle needs is for some horny alien farm boy to freak him the hell out.
Get a grip, Kent!
Will do good buddy.
Bad alien!
Kyle nuzzled his shoulder and emerald eyes darted to look at him nervously. Those blue eyes were wide open and glowing into his. Kyle tightened his grip around Clark’s waist which made Clark feel like an overgrown extraterrestrial teddy bear. All he needed now was to be painted green and wearing antennas. Maybe he would do that for Halloween…as a joke on himself. He would then run outside and scream at the top of his lungs, “I’m an alien you bitches, and I’m damn proud of it!”
He snorted and then laughed at the looks he could see both his parents giving him. It would so be worth the grounding.
He closed his eyes and allowed the soothing beat of Kyle’s heart to lull him into slumber. Maybe…when Kyle could talk…he could…tell…him…his real…name.
Kyle smiled when Clark started making funny noises with his nose. He held Clark tight and glowed happily in the dark while everyone slumbered till dawn.

Please review and tell me what you think.
I just got done reading Stardust, by Neil Gaiman…and I fell in love. It is one of the most magical books I have ever read. I think I love it more than the first Harry Potter book.
I have only seen the first episode of Kyle XY…so basically all I know is that he wakes up in the woods…all covered in goo…naked as a jaybird…and that’s where my imagination takes over.
Enjoy the story.
