The evening consisted of a pizza ordered from the restaurant in their resort and a lot of Disney movies on the television.

Sam wanted to cry as Dean was constantly enthralled by something as simple as Aladdin or The Little Mermaid.

Sam remembered the first time he'd watched various kids movies when he went to college. And, of course, Dean would convince their dad to find babysitters lots of times during jobs, but only Sam would stay for the cookies and cocoa and silly movies. Dean was always needed by his father and Sam began to realize that he was given plenty of childhood memories. Dean had made sure of that at the cost of his own.

Dean took a bite of pizza and chewed thoughtfully before smiling at Sam. "That genie cracks me up."

Sam nodded. "Yeah, just wait until the Emperor's New Groove comes on tonight. You remind me of Kronk."

Dean's eyebrow lifted. "He better not be stupid."

Sam just laughed and regretted the comment a few hours later after Dean had punched his arm at the beginning of the movie. As the show went on, the character grew on Dean and he relented that he was cool just like Kronk.

Just as the movie ended, Dean took off to get ready for bed. The knock on the door went unnoticed by him as he searched for his toothbrush.

Sam, on the other hand, had expected the arrival and opened the door quickly. He grinned at the package and tipped the castmember, thanking him. He ran into the bedroom and arranged things before going back out into the living room.

When Dean exited the bathroom, Sam called to him. "This is one of the slowest weeks here so we should have plenty of fun. What do you want to do tomorrow? Animal Kingdom, Magic Kingdom, Epcot, or MGM?"

Dean frowned. "Can't we just do them all?"

"No, Dean. I told you...They're big."

"Oh, well let's do the one with the animals then. That's the only one that you said that I figure I know what I can expect."

Sam nodded. "Good choice."

He watched Dean walk into the bedroom and pulled down the Murphy bed. He waited awhile and wondered why Dean hadn't come out of the room yet. Finally he sighed and slowly padded to the end of the hall.

When he looked into the room he smiled.

The small Christmas tree looked perfect with the red bows, white lights, and golden bulbs, but Dean's face as he sat on the floor staring at it was priceless. He gently reached out and touched one of the bows as if he thought it might disappear.

Sam wrapped his arms around himself. Jess, Sarah, and Mark had made Christmases so special for Sam. He'd never had a fancy one and was really shocked at how much he enjoyed them.

He knew that Dean had only had the few with his mom and dad before it was all taken away. He was willing to bet that this was the first time he'd had a Christmas tree in over twenty years. The tear that fell from Dean's eye gave him his answer.

Sam cleared his throat and Dean looked at him, his adam's apple bobbing furiously trying to hold back the tears. "Sammy..." He shook his head and stood up. "I don't know what to say."

Sam walked in and wrapped his arms around his brother, enjoying the fact that he was a good three inches taller. "You don't have to say anything. You always tried to give me a Christmas of some kind. I remember, Dean. I remember the weird ass pictures you drew of what was supposed to be a tree. I remember you taping it up above my bed and giving me presents."

Dean snickered. "Presents?"

"Yeah, you used to buy things at those weird stores all the time. Gum, candy, sometimes even a cool toy...like that compass ring you got me when I was 8, remember?"

"I remember. I'm surprised you do, though."

"Well I do." He let go of Dean and sat on the bed. "Open your presents."

Dean smirked and sat down on the floor again. He looked at the five gifts that were wrapped festively under the tree. Carefully he picked up one and smiled. "This one is for you from Santa." He handed it to Sam and watched.

Sam rolled his eyes, finally remembering what that mystery package was. "I thought it was forgotten...I didn't think that they'd wrap it. That woman at the checkin desk was pretty pissed with me that I'd upset you, though."

Dean's eyes sparkled. He knew that Sam was trying to make up for what happened and it touched him that he'd admitted what he'd done to a total stranger just to make sure that things were done correctly. "Open it."

Sam laughed and opened the small package, showing Dean that it was a good sized bottle of lube.

Dean joined in the laughter. "Who said you're going to get lucky?"

"I'm trying to be optimistic. After all, this is the place where dreams come true." He winked and pointed to the other gifts. "Keep going."

Dean opened the next gift quickly and smiled as he examined his new swim trunks. "Planning on getting me to one of those water parks?"

"No, but there is a pool at our resort..."

Dean grinned and opened the next package. "This one's big..." He gasped as the large box fell open revealing a few pairs of new jeans, a half dozen different types of shirts and another smaller box. "Sammy..."

"Don't, Dean. I was there when Dad forced you to sew up all of the old clothes for yourself. I know there were times that we could have gotten you new stuff, but you made him get me new stuff instead. You're too hot to be wearing someone else's junk. These are just for you...only you."

Dean swallowed another lump in his throat and just nodded, remembering the times he was teased. His mind shot back to Robby and the few months before his mother died. He was about to snap out of it when another memory started to pull at him.

He had already discussed it with Becky. The cruel words from a childhood friend and the comfort that nearly killed him as he got older. Then there was the woman his father had met when he was seven...and there was her making him try on clothes and...

"Dean!"

Dean jumped and looked at Sam. "What?"

"You zoned out on me for a minute. Are you okay?"

Dean nodded. "Yeah, sorry." He picked up the other box that was inside the large one with the clothes. "A two for one deal..."

He opened it and took a deep breath. "Black leather...it's perfect..." He traced the silver celtic pattern on the side.

"It's for your dagger. I don't like that you sleep with it under your pillow like you do. I'm always worried you're going to hurt yourself."

Dean smiled and then cursed himself as his mind tried to pull him back again. He growled lightly in frustration and then sighed. "Sorry, I just can't seem to stop myself from thinking about some things that have no place here tonight."

Sam scooted off the bed and sat next to Dean. "Don't apologize. This Christmas is for you, bad or good." He gently massaged Dean's neck and Dean actually stiffened. Sam let go immediately.

"I need to tell you something since we're sleeping apart."

"Okay..."

"Don't come in the room if I'm sleeping. Promise me. If you startle me...I don't want to wake up to find that I've stabbed you to death." His eyes were showing extreme fear, but Sam knew that there was more to it than that by the trembling shoulders.

"Do you want to talk about it?"

Dean just shook his head.

"Alright, then let's not worry about it now, okay?"

Dean nodded and then took a few good deep breaths before turning to smile at Sam. "Okay, two more to go." He picked up the larger of the two remaining gifts and shook it lightly. "It's not very heavy."

Sam rolled his eyes. "Just open it."

Dean tore the paper off of a small box and opened it up and stopped dead. He glanced up at his brother in one of those 'fuck you' looks and smirked as he pulled out the set of mouse ears with his name embroidered on the front. "I'm not wearing them."

Sam winked. "Well, I figured you wouldn't, but maybe just once for me. Please?"

Dean knew he couldn't resist Sam when he was being particularly pleading and put the ears on. "Happy?"

Sam grinned happily and laughed. "I'm never gonna forget this moment, you know."

Dean took the ears off. "I won't, either."

Sam picked up the tiny gift and handed it to Dean. "I can't think of anything else that means more to me in this life than you. I know that this defies normalcy, but I really don't give a shit."

Dean slowly peeled back the green shiny paper and popped out a small box. He turned it over a few times before opening it. "A ring?"

Sam nodded. "Do you like it?"

Dean just stared. "It's gorgeous." He took the ring out and smiled. "That's a heavy ring. Looks like it would hurt if I hit someone with it, too." He slipped it on his right ring finger and studied it. "Celtic...like the protection charm?"

Sam shook his head. "Love knot."

"What does it mean?"

"It's like us, Dean. 'It defies literal translation and should be enjoyed on a deeper level. The Celtic love knot is composed of a series of intricate braids forming an endless band that goes on and on into eternity.'"

"You sound like an advertisement."

"Well, that's the meaning of it that I found on the website." He smiled. "Take it off...there's an inscription."

Dean pulled the ring off and looked inside. His heart nearly burst at the words. "My light in the darkness."

Sam reached out and took the ring, putting it back on Dean's finger. "I'm a fool for treating you the way I do sometimes. I'm sorry."

Dean pulled Sam close and kissed him deeply. Their moans mingled along with their tongues until Dean broke the kiss. "Sammy?"

"Yeah, Dean?"

"I'm not...I mean I can't....I'm not ready yet....for that..."

"Sex?"

Dean nodded. "I don't know why and I can't explain it." Liar! You're remembering things that he has a right to know. He loves you. He won't hurt you. "Just give me a little more time, alright?"

Sam smiled. "As much as you need." He helped Dean pick up the paper and everything else and put it away.

"Hey, Sam? I know these Disney peeps are good, but how did you get all of this arranged in just a couple of hours?"

"I didn't. I've been ordering things online while planning the trip and just gave the woman at the counter my order receipt. The packages were already here. She was nice enough to wrap them up for me and get me a tree."

"Disney magic, Sammy?"

"Disney magic, Dean."

They kissed gently before Sam went to sleep in the Murphy bed. He tossed and turned a bit, wanting to fuck Dean senseless, but needing to be patient.

Dean slept quietly, only waking up a few times with a nightmare or two, but never to the point that it made him sleepwalk. He was too excited to have nightmares, knowing that the next day he'd be losing his Disney virginity.

One thought crossed his mind right as he drifted to sleep.

I wonder if mice give autographs...
