Chpt 3
Yvette closed the door behind Craig and went into a laughting fit.
She was on the floor next to her door smiling when the phone rang. At that moment reality came back and she knew who was calling
Yvette- Hello?
Spinner- Yvette hey! Its me Spin
Yvette- Hi
She said in a happy voice although she felt it didnt belong to her
Spinner- What are you doing tonight?
Yvette- Nothing as far as i know...
Spinner- Ok well... How about we go to the park right now... We can hang... Play basketball... Get a hotdog?
Yvette laughed
Yvette- Sure
She told him where she lived and hung up. She proceded upstairs to change into a new pair of jeans and sweater. She looked at Craig jacket. As much as she wanted to wear it she knew it would be better not to.
Soon, after what seemed like a short time the doorbell rang.
Spinner- Lets go!
He grabbed her hand and pulled her out the door.
Yvette- Hold on!
She laughed at his dorky grin
Spinner- Noooooooo!!!...

Spinner and Yvette walked through the park fighting over a pretzel.
Yvette- Mine!
Spinner laughed pulling it away from her.
Spinner- Never! Man... atleast you eat as much as i do. Now i won't feel so alone.
Yvette- Better be happy... So tell me, why the break up with the blonde chick?
Spinner- I dunno... I guess i just have a feeling im missing out... need to experience everything before i settle...
Yvette- Makes sense i suppose... What about Craig? I mean... that Ash girl seems ok...
Spinner- Didnt he tell you? Well i guess you'll find out anyways... He was with her and then got with ths other girl and got her preggers. Then that girl got an abortion and shes happy now... But Craig and Ash went through their probs even worse since he had cheated on her with the other chick... I dunno i get confused sometimes when i think about it.
Yvette- Haha... you sound it.
She was so sad. She felt in her gut that Craig really was a good guy and still did but the fact that he and Ashley might get back together bothered her. She flt Spinner put his arm around her shoulders as they walked on and told herself to enjoy the date... That Craig would never be hers and she his and he belonged to some one else and to give Spinner a chance.
Yvette walked out of her shower and fell onto her bed. It had been a couple of hours since Spinner had droped her off.
Yvette- It was fun
She told herself. She sliped out of the towel and straight into the covers.

Craig walked out of Ashleys house very confused.
Craig- Did I just?...
He wanted so badly to make the spinning stop. Sure regularly it was good spinning but now it wasn't.
Craig- And i asked her out?!
He kicked his tire. Opening the door he realized how much he didnt want to go home just yet. Joey and Caitlin had gone on a trip and Angie was at grandmas. Suddenly an idea slipped into his head and as much as he thought it might not work it was worth a shot.

*Earlier- at Yvette's door*
Yvette- Thanks Spin
Spinner- No prob.
Yvette- No I mean... Just being in home school and all and now well... I mean I dont usually go out with guys and well...
Spin- Thanks?
Yvette- Yeah that!

Spinner suddenly kissed her on the cheek though very close to her lips.

Yvette lay in bed quietly. She wasn't quite sure what to think that whole day. It was a whirlwind. Never before had she been to a real school let alone made friends so fast. She smiled quietly.
Suddenly it sounded lke a hail storm outside. She looked toward her window and rocks were hitting her window.
Slipping into a bathrobe and looking out her window, the face she had seen in her head all day was smiling up at her.

Craig- Sorry...
Yvette- SHHHHHH!!!
Craig- You are shhhhhhhing louder than me climbing this tree you know!
