DeIce Chapter 3
chapter 3
Not mine, not making money, and all that other disclaimerey stuff.
Okay, here's chapter 3. Not sure yet whether
there will or even should be a chapter 4. Any
opinions on this would be appreciated and
will likely influence my decision. Anyhow,
here it is. Tell me what you think....
I woke up with the disorienting sensation that
my pillow was breathing. I opened my eyes and
there was Greg smiling up at me. "Good morning,
Miss Sidle." He pulled me to him for a long, slow
kiss.
His hair looked even crazier than usual. I had
always wondered what he looked like when he
first got up; now I knew. "You do an amazing
wake-up call, Sanders. How are you this
morning?""
His chest rumbled with laughter. "Better than I can
ever remember, actually. And yourself?"
I raised up on one arm and slowly looked him up
and down, letting my appraisal linger at that area
between his navel and his thighs. He was
clearly VERY happy to see me this morning. "Very
happy. You, ummm, are a man of many talents."
He sighed dramatically. "I'm glad you think so, but
suddenly I'm feeling a little ....stressed....."
"Really?" I raised my eyebrow and glanced again
at his crotch. "That's unfortunate. Stress can be really
harmful if you don't deal with it, you know."
He flipped me over and pounced. "That's very true. I
WANT to deal with it. Will you help me, Sara? Please?"
He licked his lips and looked me over hungrily.
"Oh, absolutely. We're friends, after all. I have your
back.... and your front....and what a lovely front it
is....." With that, I drew him down
into a kiss. He slipped one nimble hand down between
us to stroke me. My word, he had good hands! Once
again, I was gasping in minutes. "Please," I whispered,
putting my hand around what I wanted. "Please...."
He moved over me, spread my legs, and paused at
my entrance. "Is this what you want?" he asked huskily.
He pushed in a tiny bit and withdrew. "Like that?"
"Oh, Greg, please...please...."
He pushed in a little more than withdrew again. "Oh
yeah....." This time he gave me all of it, began the dance
in earnest. It was good, so good, and his low moans made
it even better.
"I love you," I whispered as he pounded into me.
Ours eyes met. His expression was wild, out of control.
"I love you too," he said hoarsely.
Then I plummeted over the edge, the intense fiery waves
of release pouring through me. It got to him, because an
instant later he was with me. Afterward we lay wrapped in
each other's arms, wide awake but unwilling to move.
"We're good together," he said quietly.
"Very good together, " I answered in agreement. "Amazing,
actually."
"I knew it would be like this if we ever let go and gave in to it.
I just wasn't sure that would ever happen."
"Neither was I. I wanted it to happen, but
doing this meant risking what we already had. You're the best
friend I've ever had, Greg. If this had gone badly - even now, if
we mess it up, we could lose that." I tried to keep the anxiety
out of my voice.
"Well, we'll have to make sure we don't mess it up, now won't
we?" He cupped my cheek in his palm. "Sara, I love you. I'm
not going to mistreat you, or screw around on you, or deceive
you, or blow you off. Now I'm not perfect, far from it, and it's
possible - hell, INEVITABLE - that I'm going to drive you nuts at
times. We'll have our disagreements. But this is important to me -
YOU are important to me. I want this to work even more than you
do. You're still my best friend, and now my lover as well. I love
you. I'm not going to hurt you." He kissed me tenderly. "With
time you'll believe that."
"I'm not sorry it happened, Greg. Just a little anxious. I don't have
the greatest track record for relationships."
"That's because you were with the wrong men. This time, you
picked the right guy."
I sighed and snuggled closer. He might just be right, I thought
with a smile. He might be right.
