Pain
Phillip could feel his mind trying to work, it seemed as if something important was happening. But Phillip was unable to make his mind do anything. It had finally gone into self preservation mood an cut him off from the outside world. Phillip had been in some kind of altered state for a while.
Now he was slowly getting back some idea of what was going on around him. It had been so long since he'd felt anything but pain, that his body wasn't really use to not feeling it. His mind had since tried to protect him at all costs an wasn't to keen on letting go. Still he wasn't complaining about not being tortured. Phillip just had to wonder why he wasn't being tortured.
He wasn't too sure he wanted the answer, somehow he only left that they would soon start back up. Phillip was starting to be able to feel that he was on some kind of bed, the cotton form the sheets told him as much. He winched in pain, Phillip's body had been so badly miss treated that. Even the feel of cool cotton sheets under him was uncomfortable. He was just glade that who ever had moved him, had not put a blanket of any kind on him.
As Phillip felt tried to block out the pain the sheets were causing him. He heard someone enter the room, who it was he didn't know. His hearing was somewhat weak at best and he had some ringing in them. His eyes were still half shut as a doctor walked in unnoticed by him. It was then that Phillip felt a prick, then knew no more.
Doctor: "He is slowly starting to process things again. His body is still unsure of why it is no longer in pain. He is still in pain due to the damage his body got form earlier. I don't know if he will ever be without pain or if he will be able to have normal function."
John Black: "My god. What the hell did they do to him?"
Doctor: "They kept him in pain......I don't know for how long. But he's lucky to be in as good a shape as he is."
John Black: "..I'm going to call in some specialists. See if there’s anything that they can find to help him. That young man never did anything to desire what happened to him.."
Doctor: "He's lucky to have you for a father-in-law Mr. Black."
