ch 3
As Sara lay down she could smell Grissom on the sheets, in the room, all around. It was a mix of soap and sweat. Not bad sweat, sweet sweat. She found herself thinking about him very inappropriately in his bed. She heard the door shut and she knew he left.
Sam finished her bottle and Sara put her in her crib and returned to the bedroom.
As she lay down her mind began to wander…
His hands were on her…touching her…teasing her…wanting her...
His kisses were like fire…wanting her…tasting…pleasing
The door shut and Sara awoke from her dream.
Shit! Grissom’s back. He can’t see me like this. She was panting and still fully aroused. She headed for the shower.
He walked in and saw the bed that was all messed up. He knew Sara had been sleeping. He heard the shower running and assumed she was in there. Sam fussed and he went to retrieve the crying baby. He walked in, kicked his shoes off and lay on the bed with the baby and her bottle. He drifted off to sleep with the baby on his chest.
Sara slept beside him. She was still smiling from their latest round of passionate lovemaking. They were both tired; they had been going all night.
Sara shimmied over and curled against his chest and played with his chest. Her soft fingers ran along his chest tracing patterns as she slept.
He kissed her sensually and she woke up. She smiled seductively; he knew she was ready for more…
Sara resisted the urge to curl up beside him. She wrapped herself in Grissom’s robe and took her clothes to the laundry room to wash them. Her heart was nearly pounding out of her chest. Why does he still do this to me? I feel like a silly schoolgirl.
She could smell Grissom on the robe and it did nothing to calm her hormones. They were raging again. The cold shower did nothing to calm down the urges. How am I going to do this?
Grissom snuck up behind her and stood in the doorway. Sara turned around.
“Griss. You scared me.”
“Sorry. I didn’t mean to. I just put Sam down and came to find you.” Damn! She looks sexy in that robe. In my robe with the curly dishevelled hair framing her face. I will never be able to wear that robe again without thinking of her in it. Breathe. Breathe.
“Just doing some laundry, no biggy.”
“Okay. Find everything alright?”
“Yep. You need baby detergent though.”
“Maybe we could go out later?”
“Sure. I need to get a few things from my place anyway.”
“Sure thing when Sam wakes up.”
“I need to do my laundry first.”
“NO problem.”
“So how did it go with Ecklie?” She asked walking back to the living room.
“Surprisingly well. He gave me six months paternity leave.”
“Oh good. That should give you adequate time to bond with her before I leave.”
“I hope so.” I forgot she was leaving. Shit! How can I convince her to stay…with me?
“Ah Griss.”
“Yeah.”
“What about sleeping arrangements? Where am I supposed to sleep?” I can’t sleep with you…not that I don’t want to sleep with you, but that bridge has been burned long ago…
“In my room. I’ll sleep on the couch.”
“That’s not fair to you.”
“Alright. I will get a bed and set it up in Sam’s room. I’ll sleep in there.”
“Are you sure?”
“Yes.”
“I have a spare bed at my place.”
Sam finished her bottle and Sara put her in her crib and returned to the bedroom.
