The clock is ticking
The clock is ticking
Hammond was as shocked as everyone else was in that room. As impossible as it sounded he now has 7 pregnant people on his hands, 6 of which were male. In the 7 years Hammond had been at the SGC, he thought he had seen it all. From alien mother, snake in the head to glowing white light people and Jack O'Neill but this had taken the cake. He knew that it would only be a matter of time or as the past had shown a week before people like Vice president Kinsey and the NID found out about this. He couldn't put his people through that.
However, even Hammond knew they had problems, big problems.
He knew the law and as barbaric as it was the 6 men had definitely broken it, therefore they would be court-marshalled or imprisoned for their actions. Knowing Kinsey he’d find away to dissect these men to find out how it happened.
Then there was Major Carter, poor Sam she would have to tell Pete and probably give up the air force a decision he knew she’d never do.
Suddenly a knock at the door pulled him from his thoughts he turned round to see Jack stood in the doorway.
“We’ve got trouble haven’t we?” asked Jack as he sat down
“I’m afrid to say we have Jack. If all goes as usual we have about a week before all hell brakes lose” said Hammond as he sat down
“Sir would you follow me, I believe Daniel and Dr Weir have something to show you up top” said Jack as Hammond followed
Over the years Jack and Hammond had developed a code to get round situations and the law. As he remembered Jack only called him up top when he needed to say something off the record. Once up top Weir and Daniel met them.
“Son what are you don’t out of bed?” Asked Hammond
“Can I speak freely general?” asked Daniel
“Of course son”
“I can, myself and the other five men are all worried about what’s going to happen to us and our children. The last thing we want is the NID to get hold of them. The three of us have come up with a plan General but their a catch”
“What Daniel is trying to say is that this will get all involved court-marshalled but as most of us see it we are going to be anyway. Hopefully this might get the laws changed in the process. We might need your help but we can’t afford to get you fired because if we pull this off we will need you on this end” said Jack
“Tell what you need” said Hammond
Weir, Jack and Daniel told Hammond of their plan and what they would need and do. For all concerned the clock was ticking
