Chapter 3: Lunch
"This is a nice place, Sam." Tyla ed.\ed."I'm glad you said yes...I wasn't sure if you liked me." he pasued. "Till Donna and I talked." Sam added. "I wasn't sure if you liked me." Tyla looked at the menu. "You are beautiful...Your eyes are a sapphire blue." he said. "Thank you...Your not bad looking yourself." she gave a little laugh.
"Would you like anything to drink?" asked the waitress. "Jack Daniels please." answered Sam. "Red wine for me." Tyla told her. "I'll be back." she told them. \ dri drink during work hours?" Tyla asked. "Only a drink, when I'm out...I usually drink coffee." he sipped the water that was in front of him. "I take it with your work, you gotta stay awake." she sipped her water. "Sometimes I do have late nights." smiled Sam. "I like your smile." she told him. "Thank you." he asnwered. "Here you go." The waitress returned with the drinks and they ordered.
After eating, Sam took her to the park, so, they could walk for a little bit and talk. "How is it working for the president?" she asked. "It's good...I help write his speeches and look up stuff. I also can help out with any law questions. I'm also a lawyer." he told her. "Very nice...I'm just your average girl. Someone who works in a bar." she smiled. "I think why I am here, I'll find a job. I don't want Donna to get into trouble with me being at her desk everyday..." she trailed off. "Hoping to take glances at a Mr. Sam Seaborn." she added. "I don't think she'd get into trouble, but that's nice your thinking of her." his cheeks turned a little red. "Oh, I made Sam Seaborn blush." she laughed. "I usually am tongue tied with girls." he admitted. "You didn't have any trouble with me?" she asked. "I had buttreflies in my stomach..I was nervous to ask you to lunch. I was going to ask you to dinner, but Donna suggested it be lunch." he stopped wag.

"Something wrong, Sam?" she stopped walking too. "No, everything's fine." he faced her. "Your just staring at me..Is there anything on my face?" she asked. "Just your beautiful smile." he leaned closer. "You know how to say the right..." before she could finish her sentence, Sam kissed her. She stared at him after he stepped back. "I'm sorry...I just had to do that." he told her. "Don't be sorry...I loved the kiss..." she leaned forward and Sam did too. They kissed again.
Back at the office...
They walked in holding hands and smiling. He stopped at Donna's desk, she wasn't there. "I had a good time Sam." Tyla told him. "I had a good time too." Sam leaned in and gave her another kiss. "See you later." he said. "Later. she she smiled as he walked to his office.
"Did I see you and Sam kissing, Tyla." Donna walked up smiling. "Yes..." she told her. "Well, he kissed me as we walked in the park." Tyla added. "This is such great news. I'm so happy for you." she hugged her sister. "I really like him." Tyla told her. "I hope you guys go further...If you marry him, you'll be Tyla Moss-Seaborn." Donna put a folder on her desk. "Donna, don't go so far into the future. We'll see if Sam likes me..." she leaed closer to Donna and whispered. "Till he finds out about my ex-boyfriend." "He'll be fine with it." Donna whispered.
"Someone knocked on the door. "Come in Josh." said Sam, taking off his glasses. "I saw you give Tyla a kiss. Are you sure you want to get involved with Donna's sister." Josh sat down. "What's so wrong with it?" Sam leaned back in his chair. "If it doesn't work out, Donna will be mad and not like to see you in the office." he said. "Josh it's going to work out." Sam picked up his glasses. "It's not like Tyla is hiding something." he smiled. "We'll see...Once you 2 sleep together." Josh stood up. "What makes you so sure we'll sleep together this soon?" he asked. "Sam, come on...You meet a girl and sleep with her the same night." smiled Josh. "We had lunch today and only kissed. We didn't get a cheap motel room and have sex." Sam was a bit upset.
