A romantic dinner for two and a film for after
When they woke together a bit later, they got up and went to the kitchen to get something to eat. Nicola was walking next to her the man she loves and was deep in thought. 'She couldn't believe how lucky she was and how happy she is, or how much in - love she was with the most wonderfull man and knew he loved her just as much as she love him and he was walking right next to her'. 'she knew that this time last year she would've had anyone to love'. she thought with a smile. The Doctor saw her deep in thought "penny for your thoughts, hun"? he asked as they got to the kitchen and she told him what was on her mind and they sat down at the kitchen counter after she told him he gave her a loving kiss and a cuddle. after they broke away Nic started making one of her favourites for the Doctor. "Hows about spagaette for dinner, hun" she said getting everything out she needed. "Sounds wonderfull" he said with a smile "do you need any help"? he asked her. "You can cut and butter the bread if you want, but only when i ask ok". she said giving him a kiss.
45 minutes later and they were eating the dinner. The Doctor put some food onto his fork and tried it, Nicola was waiting to hear what he would say about it. But then he smiled "cor blimy. That's the best spagette i've tried in the whole galexy". He said digging in for some more, Nicola's face burnt red as she started to blush. "You're not just saying that, because you don't want to hurt my feelings are you". she said looking at her food infront of her, he looked over at her. "I wouldn't've said it at all if it wasn't true, hun". he said giving her a kiss. Nic smiled when they broke away "Hun, don't dout yourself, you can be whoever you want to be" he told her. Nic nodded. "You sound like Tom my brother - in - law, he's always says thing like that". she said to him. "He's good man, you should listen to him more". The Doctor said to her. "I try but sometimes i find it hard to do. Sometimes i need a real good kick up the behind to get me moving". She said playing with her food.
"You've had a bad start to life, the first 25 years of it". he said moving closer to her. " Well it's not all bad, I've met you, the love of my life and a mate for my soul, so I'm looking forward to spending the rest of my life with you, Doctor". She said with a sweet smile and they both drew in for a kiss, when they pulled apart the Doctor said with a smile "me too". and went back to eating his dinner.
After dinner they both went to the libary and Nicola chose a film to watch from the millions of DVD's. she chose 'Free Willy' her favourite film. They snuggled up next to each other and started to watch the film. While they were watching it, Nicola was getting more and more upset about it she started to cry. "Are you alright"? asked a concerned Doctor as the film ended. Nicola shook her head, "That film always makes me cry, but it's also brought back memories of my hero that's dead". she sniffed in his shoulder as he brought her into a cuddle. "When i had just turn 25, one of my bigest heros was killed before i could even meet him". she sobbed, "And in 2005, that whale they moddled 'Free Willy' on died". she said sitting up and looking into his eyes. "I know we can't do anything to save them both, but i was wondering if we could go and see them before they died". She asked. "Who was you hero? Sweetheart". he asked as he wiped her tears away. "Steve Irwin, I cried me eyes out, when i heard he was killed by stingray on the news". she said to him. "I also cried was i heard keiko the Free Willy star had died". she continued.
"We can go and see them both once my legs all better and after we've meet your parents". He said to her with the smile she loved and they both kissed each other. when they broke aways for some air Nicola looked at him again sadly. "What's the matter"? He asked. "I'm sorry". she said turning her head and started looking at the floor sadly. "What for"? he asked a bit worriedly. "I'm sorry for ruining a nice romantic evening, first the dinner now the film". she said as a new tear rolled down her cheek. the Doctor gently put his hand under her chin and lifted it so she could see his face. "You haven't ruined anything, sweetheart, I loved the meal and i love the movie and i also love you". He said kissing her again. "you can share all your problems with me no matter how big or little they are or how silly they may sound, i will still listen to all of them and this is the first time someones done anything romantic for me". he told her pulling her into a cuddle. she smiled at him with sleepy eyes, "I love you too". she said as she climbed onto the sofa they were sitting on and gave him another kiss. Then they both snuggled up with her love and they both fell to sleep where they were.
