Cat, and Mouse
The infects of the Red K seized through his veins.
On the corner was the hotel he had stayed at once before when he had been infected.
The man got up , as soon as Clark came in .
“ Good evening sir” .
Clark glared at the man .
“ Just give me a single”.
“ Sir that will be forty dollars” .
Clark handed him two twenties.
He laid on the bed, and thought to himself should he call home .
He pulled out a picture of Vesta from his wallet.
“ No I’ll just take care of the matter at hand.”
A few minutes later he was on his way out the door.
This was the not going to be easy, but he had plenty of time.
He felt like a cat hunting for a mouse.
At the Kent farm
“ Nana I don’t want to go to bed”.
“ I want to stay up , and wait for daddy to come home”.
Martha sat on her bed .
“ Sweetheart your daddy is under the effects of Red K”.
“ Lois is coming over to stay the night with you , while Chloe , and I look for your daddy”.
Martha got up , and gave Vesta a kiss on the forehead.
“ Good night”
Vesta rolled over.
Lois came in the front door .
“ I got here as soon as I could.”
“ Chloe said you needed me to watch Pixie”
“ Yes Lois Clark had to go take care of something , and Chloe , and I have to go to Metropolis”.
Chloe took the key , and open the box.
She looked at the green rock, and slipped it into her pocket, and walked back down stairs.
“ Mrs. Kent I’m ready.”
“ Lois we’ll be back probably some time tomorrow” .
"I'll make sure everything is okay on the home front.”
Back in Metropolis.
Clark was having no luck finding Lex .
“ Sir you look like you need a drink”, said a girl sitting next to him .
She put her hand on his leg moving it up .
Abruptly he removed it.
You can buy me a drink without pulling your hand on my leg”.
After he had his drink.
He smiled at the young lady.
“ It was nice meeting you”.
“ God he sure was sexy” .
“ He comes in here often , but I’ve never seen him dress like that
He is a reporter for the Daily planet”.
“ I guess he is taking a break from the tie , and sports coat”.
" Black leather always turns me on" .
" Yeah I never noticed he had such a nice package".
Julie smiled.
“ Amy I better make this one my last”.
“ Okay Julie”.
Somewhere in Metropolis
“ Chloe there is no telling what Clark will do to Lex if he finds him” .
“ Mrs. Kent we will find him before he finds Lex”.
“ Clark is just not thinking clearly”.
“ Chloe we just have to pray we find him”.
“ Hopefully I’ll be able to close enough to him. ”
A couple of Hours a passed , and Chloe , and Martha searched with out any clue to where Clark was .
“ Chloe we need to get some rest” .
“ Mrs. Kent I’ll get us a motel room for the night”.
“ We can start searching for Clark tomorrow morning it already twelve am”.
